90 Minute Hilton Head Dolphin Tour

Had a good time with captain Luciano!!highly recommended..he also entertained the kids as well as made sure we get to see dolphins as we did secured a good spot.

Went with a group of 6 for this great 90 minute boat ride and we all really enjoyed it! Capt Bob was super friendly and a great guide! He was able to give us a nice fun (little bouncy, but we liked that!) ride down to Harbour Town and we definitely spotted quite a few dolphins along the way. It is an open boat with basically no shade so keep that in mind when booking! Sunscreen and water are a must! And don’t forget to tip your captain! Thanks again Capt Bob!

We saw lots of dolphins and it was very relaxing and nice. The weather was perfect and we saw lots of birds as well.

Lots of dolphins, nice captain it’s always nice to spend time on the water. I specifically like this tour because it’s a small boat.

We learned a lot about the dolphins and the island of Hilton Head. Definitely a must for first time visitors.

John provided a complete tour of the intercoastal area. November was a great time to do this as the water traffic was minimal offering a calm and serene experience. Seeing several dolphins was of course the highlight, especially 2 that came just a few feet from our boat.

John was a good guide and was knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately, we only saw a few dolphins in the distance and only briefly as well, but it was still an enjoyable day on the water with the wonderful weather.

John was an excellent guide. He had a lot of knowledge of the area. When we spotted dolphins, he took us right up close to see them.

Guides were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and Hilton Head is a beautiful area to see from the water!

The trip departed on time, which was appreciated. However, we didn’t see many dolphins—just a couple here and there. It felt like the guide was unsure of where to go, as none of the areas we visited had much marine life. As a boat ride, it was pleasant and relaxing, but if your main goal is to see ocean wildlife, especially dolphins, this tour might fall short. One suggestion: consider equipping the captain with a microphone. It was difficult to hear the few stories he shared during the trip, and clearer audio would enhance the overall experience.

Jackson the guide was fantastic! He knew just where to go to show us the dolphins. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife in the area.

We had the 4:30 tour. The weather was perfect. The Captain was very knowledgeable about the area and the dolphins plus he was a nice guy.

John was great! He was very nice and funny. We saw dolphins about 10 mins into the boat ride! We had a blast.

This was an amazing experience. We went on a late afternoon dolphin cruise and what turned out to be a very windy day. Our knowledgeable guide, Jackson, kept us at a slow pace and in more protected waters which made the ride smooth and comfortable which was good because there was another family with small children on board as well as none of us wanting to feel seasick or get wet from splashing. . You would think that would mean less to see but that was not the case. We saw many dolphins splashing and feeding. We also got to see many lovely shorebirds too. Jackson was great at getting us near the animals and birds easily and expertly. Such a fabulous experience!! We look forward to another visit with this company on our net visit to the area and will continue to recommend them to everyone!!

We ended up having the boat to ourselves and while our captain was about 10 minutes late getting underway, we got the full 90 minutes tour. We saw many dolphins who swam around and breached near the boat including a mother and her calf. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone!

This was a great and exciting experience as this was my first time on a boat. There were dolphins everywhere!

Worst boat ride ever! The captain was late. Did not introduced himself when he arrived. He did not cover any safety precautions. He did not say one word the entire 90 minutes boat ride unless you asked him a direct question. When asked a question, his response was very short. Horrible customer experience. We do not recommend this dolphin boat ride.

You will enjoy this experience even if you didn't get to see a pod of dolphins. The weather was perfect and warm to be out on the water. We did see one dolphin swimming near our boat and it was exciting. Our captain was awesome and he made sure that we at least got the chance to see a dolphin during our trip.

Views of the surrounding area were nice. Only traveled 60 of 90 minutes - never made it into the sound.

We wish we had seen dolphins closer. We understand it’s more luck than anything, so it ended up being more a relaxing boat trip.

This dolphin cruise was excellent! The boat was the perfect size, comfortable and we were able to cruise around the water at varying speeds. We saw lots of dolphins and our captain was great! Very knowledgeable about the area and friendly! I was really impressed that they did not cancel our tour as we were a small group because it was the perfect experience to end our Hilton Head trip! Would absolutely recommend this boat tour!

Was able to see the dolphins, other rides we’ve been on were friendlier with the kids and families. But overall not a bad experience.

Very unfriendly experience with the boat driver. He almost never talks to us and we actually paid him tips at beginning of the trip.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience. It was windy, so we only saw a handful of dolphins, but it was a beautiful day. We were lucky enough to have the tour to ourselves! Our tour guide was friendly, but only shared information about the location and animals if we asked. He was on his phone while driving the boat and he ended the tour about 20 minutes early.

Great boat ride. Got to see dolphins and take pictures! Worth the money! Will do again when we visit.

Captain Sarah was FABULOUS! She was very knowledgeable about the area as well as of the “where and what” caused the dolphins to be in the area of the tour. Difficult to determine how many dolphins we saw (as some may have been seen more than once) but we saw many! Great trip. Easy to obtain reservations either on line or actually at the little office on the dock.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, saw lots of dolphins and appreciated Captain Sarah’s knowledge and friendly attitude.

Captain Sarah did an outstanding job in looking for dolphins, and filling us in on some of the history of the island.

The weather was nice. The boat had no covering. It was very low budget looking and the company doesn't even offer water to their guests. The driver did not communicate on the boat ride, and he drove entirely too fast. I would not recommend.

Wonderful experience! We saw a lot of dolphins, but even if we hadn't caught sight of them, the boat ride was fun. Dress for wind and speed or you'll lose your hat and sunglasses!

My family and I had a great time. We got to see dolphins and the ride was very peaceful and enjoyable. Our Captain Tim was very friendly and a great tour guide. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We saw several dolphins, up close. Your guide was excellent. He knew where the dolphins were and included history of the area.

Enjoyed the boat ride, it was pretty cold so not too many dolphins but we did get to see 3. Our tour guide was amazing and patient with the kiddos. This one does not have a cover on the boat since it was cool outside that worked great for us.

My son and I absolutely loved our experience on the dolphin tour! It was fun and exciting. We had the opportunity to get close to and area where the dolphins were playing. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have kids!

Our captain, Troy, was great! He was very knowledgeable about the area and we were around 3 bottle nose dolphins almost the whole time! It was a bit windy and cool but we still got to look at the beautiful estates and even a sunken sailboat! Who doesn’t love a boat ride?!

Great experience on the dolphin tour, and we got to see a few dolphin sightings. Our captain was very knowledgable about the area and was kind enough to wait for us when we running a few minutes behind. The only reason why I rested this 4 instead of 5 stars was the weather. We highly recommend this tour!

We did see a number of dolphins, but the young boat pilot drove way too fast at times bouncing the boat very hard and we got quite wet.(Not to be unexpected on a boat of course but the speed was unnessacery ) If your looking for a family friendly boat ride and if you have small children this is not the place to go…

John was an excellent captain and guide! Super informative of the area and incredibly nice. It was a bit early in the season for dolphins but one came through in the end. It was a beautiful boat ride though!

Great time out on the water seeing dolphins and the Hilton Head area. Our captain was knowledgeable and super friendly and kept us very safe and entertained. Would highly recommend to anyone.
