I was very excited about this excursion with my family, but was very disappointed in this experience. There was very poor communication on where to meet, and we ended up driving to the wrong place because the location changed last minute, but was never relayed to us. Once we got there, there was very poor instruction and the boat was old and beat up.

We saw some amazing wildlife out in the water with Carter. He was very knowledgeable about all the fish and other creatures in and around the water. My daughter and I had a lot of fun! Thanks again, would recommend

What an amazing addition to our trip to HHI this summer!!! We rented a boat and did a two hour tour of the islands! The captain was amazing and we had SO much fun as a family!! Got to see lots of dolphins and hear so many stories about the area and left appreciating the island even more! I can't believe that it took us this long! Had a great time on our private self guided tour. Dolphin sightings all around as we toured the water.

It was easy to book even though on the website it was too late. They were nice about showing us how to get around and drive the boat. When we got stuck, they did not cause panic but told us to wait for high tide. We arrived fifteen minutes late and they did not charge us overtime fees.

Way too much fun for 4 adults and 3 small children. Make sure you understand the rules before boarding and have some experience with small boat operations. Four hour rental was fine for us. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water. Talk to the boat guys if there's a specific place you want to go. This was our first with kids so a little chaotic.

Boat was clean, like new, and ran great. Easy online booking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Saw lots of dolphins, all over. We enjoyed our day on the water👍

We had lovely weather. Beautiful sea and sky, a fun chance to control the vessel ourselves and be together as a family.

Mike was an amazing coach! He made us feel comfortable with the navigation and functions of the pontoon. We had a BLAST; we even were able to see several dolphins, which was another awesome highlight!

Most memorable parts were seeing dolphins up close and swimming off the boat. Mike was excellent explaining the boat and where to go.

We received good and friendly assistance prior to the boat ride and the trip itself was enjoyful and relaxing. Will definetaly do it again.

Decent little pontoon. It was definitely under powered with a top speed of 10 mph. That limits the distance you can travel in two hours to relatively small section of the island. We rented from one location and they presumed that we would pick our boat up at another location… fortunately when we came by to pick up the pontoon, they happened to have a spare at the location where we were staying in our RV.

Staff was very professional and helpful with instruction and tips on where to go. I didn’t have a ton of experience boating, but it was easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend more than 2 hours if you want to find a place to stop and play in the water with the kids for a while. Great overall experience!

All was going well until we stopped for a swim and the motor wouldn’t start. Had to wait for someone from the dock to arrive and whack the starter with a hammer.

One of the best expirences I've had vacationing in a while. Our orientation guide was so helpful and polite Blonde curly Hair and beard can't remember his name but he was awesome give that Young man a raise. We will return can't wait the boats were very clean and well kept. You will not be disappointed they are top notch..

I wasn’t sure how much my family would enjoy a boat ride... especially a pontoon because I’ve never been on a pontoon and thought it might be too slow. We had so much fun we inquired about more time but sadly we’re all booked up for the day... next time we will book dour hours at least! So there are never any promises or guarantees, but we were lucky enough to see several Dolphins on the way back as well as A mom and her young baby. Priceless. Especially because they got to stay as long as we wanted and far enough away to keep them safe.

It was a fun experience! The staff was friendly. (Read a review earlier said it was hard to find. I had no trouble when using my gps. I am from out of state.) There is a gps on the boat so you can navigate around the Harbour. The gentleman also gave wonderful instructions on operating the boat and navigation system for the boat. He also told us points of interest that we might want to look at. I will use them again.

The pontoon was ready and it was a quick and easy check in! Our guide was very thorough. Everyone was polite and professional.

This was an absolutely awesome experience. The guide was great in telling us where to go, the boat was perfect for just touring around the area, and we even saw a whole pod of dolphins! We’ve never vacationed in the Hilton Head area before, but if we go back, this will ABSOLUTELY be doing this again!

Our pontoon rental was from 4:00-6:00 pm. My husband was our "captain" and was given great instruction by the crew. He has very little experience driving a boat, and did a great job piloting us according to the staff's instruction. They were super helpful in giving us ideas on how to make the most of our time. We enjoyed music, fishing and brought our own snacks for the trip. The boat was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The parking is a little limited, but the rental was great. The boat was new and clean. The orientation was great. Our guy was polite and answered my rookie questions. Would definitely come here again for a rental.

My family had the best experience with Island Head! Their staff is extremely friendly and made our trip memorable. We had a great time and I would highly recommend to anyone!
