Came into town for a funeral and stayed at The Abernathy. From start to finish, our stay was amazing. Staff was top tier, room was so clean, our dog was with us and they had her a gift bag upon check-in. It was walking distance to the stadium. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms were surprisingly spacious. Convenient to all-things Clemson, both university and town. Theming is charming here: the key FOBs are made to look like poker chips. On-site bar was great. Easy recommend. Best part was easily the staff: receptive without being pushy. I left an item at the hotel, and they called and asked if I needed it back. I did not but appreciated them calling to ask.

We love staying at The Abernathy on our visits to Clemson! It's a festive hotel, decked out with all things Clemson! You can't beat the location where you are steps from the stadium, the soccer field and the Esso. Just a short walk to downtown too. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The size of the rooms exceeded our expectations with a small kitchenette area and dining table too. This is the only place we like to stay and we will be back!

I cannot express our gratitude enough for how professional, kind, and genuinely caring the staff was during our stay at the Abernathy Hotel this week. From the moment we arrived, Cheryl greeted us with warmth and positivity and helped get us settled into the perfect room for our needs. Throughout our stay, she remained a friendly, reassuring presence who truly lifted our spirits during a very stressful time. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful, making sure we were well taken care of each morning. Housekeeping was outstanding as well. Not only were the rooms exceptionally clean upon arrival and throughout our stay, but they somehow managed to keep pace with our heavy coffee consumption as we stayed up late handling work and family matters. Every interaction reflected professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. Five stars all the way and we absolutely expect to be back during the coming months. Highly recommend.
