I felt that the room commanded a slightly higher premium than the quality demanded. I like for my room to be able to get to 70 degrees as a max temperature for sleeping. The AC never really caught up unfortunately. I carry a thermometer/hygrometer combo and the room never got less than 73 and it was 80% humidity. Zero ventilation and lukewarm air was stuffy. But alas, I didn’t book this room to sit in it! Pools are great, but can be busy with vacationing families. It looked like the kids were enjoying the splash pad on the way over to the adults only pool. The pools were all clean, and well maintained facilities throughout. Front desk staff was lovely and allowed us to check in early. It saved our afternoon/ evening plans! If you have an EV, the south building has a working charger with a J1776 plug. There’s also a 6-50 plug available (208v, 3prong plug). Unfortunately the single charger on the north building is broken and they didn’t seem motivated to fix it. Overall 4 stars is well deserved. We paid $300 ish a night but used chase points to discount further. I would question paying much more.

Upscale as expected, nice beach and pool, things for kids to do. Rather isolated in amongst other resorts and condos, so if you want to walk to shops and "downtown" I'd look elsewhere. Perfect if you want to stay on the property, plus their shuttle will take you anywhere in a 3 mile radius (not to the main drag)
I was incredibly nervous before our trip because of some negative reviews I’d read online, but our experience was the exact opposite. We had a wonderful time and absolutely LOVED the Omni Hilton Head Resort! Yes, the resort is a bit older, but it's clear they’ve invested where it counts. The rooms are beautifully remodeled and great. The bed was beyond comfortable, the towels were super plush, and the showers were really nice. The property itself is amazing. Having the ocean right there so close to the resort was unbeatable. We also loved that they have three fantastic pools and two hot tubs, so even when it's busy, it always feels like there is plenty of room for everyone. One of our favorite perks was the location and their complimentary shuttle service (an SUV that drives you anywhere within a 3-mile radius). It is close to so much! We had them drive us over to the Disney resort for Dole Whips and then went shopping at Shelter Cove. Later, I called for a pickup from Kroger and they arrived within minutes. On top of all that, the staff worked incredibly hard and provided excellent customer service throughout our entire stay. Don't let the nervous online chatter fool you—we had a flawless trip and would return in a heartbeat!
Beautiful resort! The beds are comfortable and the view is beautiful! This resort has everything that you need to not leave the resort. From restaurants to bars and activities for the family! It was my first time in Hilton Head Island and I would definitely be back and stay here! So peaceful and quiet. The only complaint is that the staff wasn’t too friendly but it might of been a language barrier.
The grounds of the Omni were great. Very lush and tropical vibes. Pools and beach access was nice. Palmetto dunes is always a great location. The rooms was ok, the biggest issue was the AC. It was impossible to sleep because our room was extremely hot and muggy no matter how low you turned the thermostat down. We had it “fixed” day 1, but it didn’t change anything. For the $, it is not worth the stay.
