North Beach Resort & Villas

The hotel is wonder, right on the beach with great views. The room was fitting to our needs, minus some much needed kitchen utensil upgrades. I was notified well in advance about construction during our stay, giving us the option to cancel at no charge. The construction did not bother us on our stay. Will definitely be making a trip back in the future.

My absolute FAVORITE resort! ❤️ I stayed in the Villas two weekends in a row and had a wonderful experience both times. During our second stay, we did notice some pet hair on the floors and a slight pet odor downstairs, so a little extra attention to cleaning would have been appreciated. That small detail won’t keep us from coming back! My family and I absolutely LOVE North Beach. The staff is always so friendly, and the location is great with Walmart, restaurants, and other conveniences just minutes away. Depending on traffic, it can take a little longer to get into Myrtle Beach, but overall the location is still great. Can’t wait for our next stay! ❤️

We always enjoy staying at North Beach Resort & Villas. The resort is beautiful, and every staff member we interacted with—from check-in and maintenance to the shuttle and towel staff—was friendly, helpful, and respectful. Unfortunately, this particular rental could have been much cleaner, and several kitchen items, including the pots, pans, and coffee maker, were in poor condition. We’ve stayed in other properties here that were much better equipped, so we hope more attention is given to cleanliness and kitchen essentials. Overall, we still had a great stay and love the resort!

Buyer be aware you may pay a lot of money for a condo that hasn't been updated in twenty years. You are rolling the dice with this place. We're repeat guests at North Beach Resort and stay several times a year, so we know the property well. We had a fantastic time, and the service, security, amenities, location, fun, and beach access are truly 5-star and the best in Myrtle Beach. The staff was also very accommodating to our disappointment and did what they could to make us feel heard. We have had the great fortune of staying in some really nice upgraded units and it spoiled us—upgrades like Viking appliances, high-end rugs, upgraded mattresses, fully tiled floors, modern decor, etc. Unfortunately, this unit hasn't been updated much in 20 years. This trip, we were placed in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath unit that hasn't seen significant updates since around 2007. The mattress was a cheap spring set, uncomfortable enough to affect sleep. Light fixtures were mismatched and hung crooked, wall shades were falling off, kitchen cabinets were heavily scuffed and gouged, and the refrigerator's stainless panel had large dents. The list of deferred maintenance is longer than I need to add to this post. The unit was clean, but the wear and outdated furnishings were far below what you'd expect for the price. We understand these are privately owned condos and management doesn't control every owner's upkeep, but as a guest you have no way of knowing which unit you'll get. If you book here, know that your experience can vary wildly depending on the unit — you're rolling the dice.
