Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa At Grande Dunes

We had an amazing stay at Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes! The resort is absolutely beautiful, the beach access is unbeatable, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff was wonderful, but we especially want to recognize Dillon, our pool server. He was incredible—so personable, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. He kept our drinks coming, checked on us often, and made sure we always had everything we needed. His outstanding service really made our pool days even more enjoyable. Employees like Dillon are what make guests want to come back. We can’t wait to visit again! 🌴☀️🍹

Stay is 7/5 - 7/8 2026 The hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms ac would not get below 70ish no matter what I did. Food in the hotel is good! Hotel staff is accommodating . Beach pirates renting chairs and umbrellas were enough to make me not want to come back. The guy was never around when i got there and when He did show up he had a crazy attitude two days in a row. He tried to strong arm me into giving him $100 cash so i could sit in the seat i was in. I let front desk staff know and they told me these guys are employees of myrtle beach & not the resort… but with the amount of tacked on fees in the resort why are these chairs not just comp’ed?? Especially when “ you can bill the rentals to your room” This isn’t a 150 a night hotel. Had a spa experience with my young daughter which was amazing! Poolside staff were top tier. Activities around town were great. Can always find something fun to do with the kids and good food and drinks are close if you choose to venture out. Pools close at 11 Room service ends at 11 Nothing is cheap.

I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel or experience for my kids first Myrtle trip. The hotel was clean and our room service was excellent. The hotel had easy and direct access to the beach, but at the same time, had excellent security to ensure only guests were going in and out. The bar was overpriced in my opinion, but again, great service. Easy parking. Breakfast buffet was legit and Omar the omelette chef was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Handled multiple orders with ease and made delicious food!

As a travel agent for 35 years now retired, you can imagine how many hotels and resorts I have stayed at over the years. I can honestly give this resort 5 stars. From the drive up to the property through a winding road heavily landscaped with colorful flowers and palm trees you feel as if you are truly in a tropical setting. When you reach the front entrance the valets are all smiles. You then walk into a very welcoming lobby. This was a return trip for my husband and I, we had been here last year same week which was acknowledged when we checked in with the reception desk. The pool area makes you feel like you're in the Caribbean, it is beautifully designed. The Marriott checks all the boxes, friendly staff, rooms are a good size and very clean, for that matter the whole property is kept very clean. The food is excellent, the location is perfect, not overly congested and it sits on a really beautiful beach. The entire staff can be shouted out for a job well done, but I do want to personally recognize one individual, Keith who I believe works in engineering. Our last full day we had our lounge chairs in a row by the upper pool, but the umbrella was missing. I saw him in passing and asked if there was one somewhere that we could possibly get and he said to me he didn't think so but to give him 10 minutes and he would see if he could find one. Keith returned with an umbrella so I thank him very much for going that extra effort for us.
