The rooms were ok. Not what I would expect from a Hilton though. The bathroom had an unfinished patch job on the roof and the bottom trim of the bathtub had some kind of weird residue all over it. Surprisingly there was no clock in the room either. The valet out front was extremely friendly and kind. It would have been very nice to have complimentary coffee in the lobby but there was none. That was disappointing.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Hilton Columbia Center! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful atmosphere, cleanliness, and perfect location. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations. My fiancé and I also had the pleasure of dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak House, conveniently located inside the hotel, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A very special thank you to Kat and Le, who truly made our weekend stand out. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cared for and helped make my fiancé’s birthday weekend extra special. The level of hospitality we received made our entire experience feel luxurious, relaxing, and memorable. We highly recommend the Hilton Columbia Center and are already looking forward to our next stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
LJ was a breath of fresh air. So many times in today’s society, the service industry lacks in courtesy, friendliness, helpfulness or anything that a customer expects but LJ was all the above. He was helpful and knowledgeable. He was genuinely friendly and knew how to do his job very well. Check-in was so smooth and easy.I had to travel almost 6 hours to come here for training for the week and he insured my stay was comfortable and a good experience. Highly recommend!
Service is what makes a great hotel! Hilton failed this weekend. I appreciate when a hotel lets you know if hotel construction will impact your stay. That wasn't the case here. The construction resulted in two open entrances into the hotel during normal hours, after that, only one through the second level of the garage. Which resulted in a group of us standing outside the front of the hotel at midnight. No signage, not explanation at check-in, only us being able to hear laughing and talking coming from the inside of the hotels locked door. We had to call to find out we could only enter through the garage, even though we could see the person on the phone from the door. Mind you, the crowd outside the hotel was coming from a gala, a theater crowd and late diners. That is, the ladies were dressed in heels and gowns/dresses. Temps were in the high 70s with 98% humidity. Now we had to walk around the hotel to the garage and troop up two sets of stairs. The Hilton could have easily placed someone at the door, or at least given us info when we checked in. I won't be staying at this hotel in the future. Do better Hilton!
The location was great walking distance to food and fun. Room is big and clean. We had to request room service 2x. Coffee was out and staff was nonchalant about making fresh coffee. Valet- we had to get out own car and was still charged full price. Ruth Chris was phenomenal great service. Im a Gold member but due to booking through Amex the manager Richard wouldn't honor my stay as a Gold member. I had to pay for food and beverage and no welcome gift. To be discriminated against because I booked through amex is disappointing. BEWARE!
