Getting there was kind of a hassle and the parking garage was crazy but once we finally figured out how to get to the checkout, everything was great. We DID have to swap rooms because the first one had a definite smoke smell but our next room was great. The people were very friendly and it was obviously in an amazing location as it was close to the walkway and shopping and restaurants.
We had such a great stay at the Embassy Suites Greenville Downtown Riverplace! The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful—so friendly, helpful, personable, and genuinely took the time to talk with us. She made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. Our room was perfect, the view was beautiful, and you seriously cannot beat the location. We were able to enjoy downtown Greenville and everything around Riverplace without having to go far at all. Great customer service, beautiful hotel, amazing views, and a superb location. We would absolutely stay here again!
This is my favorite hotel in Greenville. The location is ideal. You can walk to everything from here. My guest room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. It was stocked with nice amenities for the shower. The living area in the suite was comfy. The sofa was good, sofa bed not so much. The small kitchenette was sufficient. The hotel includes a daily cooked to order breakfast and an evening happy hour for the guests. Both of these functions are packed. The breakfast is very good. The happy hour includes two drinks. Valet parking is available for an additional cost.
Great place to stay. Delicious breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms! One of my favorite hotels in the area! Attentive and friendly staff. I feel very safe whenever we stay here! Give it a try and you want regret! Top notch service!
Just finished my stay here for 4 days 3 nights and it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had anywhere. It started with Samantha getting my stay upgraded to a balcony room being that I’m a Diamond member. And then I had a safe issue in the room called the front desk and they got a maintenance guy up there in about five minutes and fixed that issue. Then at during the reception of the Happy Our Time in the lounge, there’s a big screen TV there and I wanted to get it on the basketball game that was owned and so I called the Front Desk and they got a guy to handle that for me. His name was Julio Silva Was one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met in my life. We had some things in common and he got it on the game with the Health of another young coworker of his. He was not going to stop until he got it on the game that I was looking for. Because he and I had already tried, and I didn’t see the particular station that it was showing to be on. But then he got his coworker to help him and between the two of them they got the game on and it was an awesome experience because the big screen TV and the lounge area is huge just like a 12‘ x 14‘ screen. It’s beautiful. Plus the setting is just awesome every morning at breakfast. You’re right on the river so while you can have your maid to order breakfast, you’re looking out over it. It’s a Fantastic place to stay when you’re in Greenville. When I come back, I will always stay here based on this experience.
