They keep pushy vendors away, they provide a secure place to leave your belongings, and they combine 3 to 4 individual tours in 1 amazing day.

My husband wanted to go deep sea fishing and we could not find any tour company that would do a solo booking. We found this tour company by word of mouth and when we got to the resort went down and talked with them. My husband was able to hop on a with others and loved the deep sea fishing! It’s always a luck of the draw of if and what you catch and only 1 fish was caught but he said he still had a blast and wanted to do it again! They are super easy to talk to and give you all sorts of information upfront and answered all his questions. My husband would do this deep sea trip a million times over with them again! And the pricing was perfect!

If you are looking for a cultural experience and not the traditional booze party boat then this will fit your vibe. It was an excellent way to see parts of the Island and experience Island life and culture. The highlight for us was the Beacon restaurant. The view was sensational and the food delicious. If you find yourself on the beach at Sandals La Toc, look for a guy in a blue sun shirt with Hot Chocolate Tours logo. His name is Mitch and he is a calm no pressure salesman. If you want to experience Saint Lucia book with Mitch!

We had Kimberly "Sweet Chocolate" as our guide for our private tour of St. Lucia. She was prompt with picking us up at our resort. She was very knowledgable and accommodating with me, as I have some mobility issues. She took us to the Banana plantation. Was very knowledgable of the plant process. Then we went to multiple lookouts to see the beautiful bays, mountains, and villages. Next was Sulfur Mudbaths which were awesome, and she helped paint us with mud and helped me get around the falls. Then we had lunch at The Beacon restaurant. Wonderful buffet with local cuisine and great view of the Pitons. Then was Canaries Artisanal Chocolate factory for some very tasty local chocolates. Last was the St. Lucia distilleries. Were able to sample the Bounty and Chairmans rums. She also took us to some local vendors for shopping. Had an excellent time and she drove very safely and had water, soda, and beer for our drinking pleasure. She also had all the entrance fees for the places we visited included in our tour package price. Would highly recommend her, and look forward to returning and using their services again!!

I don't know if that's true, but here's what I do know. We met "Hot Chocolate" on the beach at Sandals La Toc. Listening to him versus his competitors, he just had a quiet confidence in the product he was selling, while others seemed to be just trying to "close the sale" and move on. Later when my wife met him as well, and he explained that his wife "Sweet Chocolate" gives the tour, we knew that the family run business was our vibe, and we booked with him. It was the right move. We were part of an 8 person tour, four couples, which is the perfect size for a tour like theirs. Sweet Chocolate is an outstanding tour guide, attentive to everyone in their care for the day, and she puts a lot of effort into making the tour informative and fun. It's a lot of sight-seeing and activity, but you never feel rushed through it. You feel like you're a VIP with them, whether it be at the mud bath, the waterfall, lunch breaks, the rum tasting, or just on the drive between stops. For the price per person, my wife and I feel like this tour was an incredible value for what we saw and experienced. If you're going to Sandals, any of the resorts, (you can get a free shuttle ride between any of them) find Hot Chocolate on the beach at La Toc and book a tour, it will be one of the best experiences of your trip! So again, I can't say they're the best because I have no one else to compare to, but they set the bar very high!

We chose Hot Chocolate Tours in St. Lucia because of its 5‑star reviews on Viator and the promise of a small, fun, party‑style excursion. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. Instead of the expected small group of around 2–3 couples, we were packed onto a boat with 17 people. The pickup was late, which meant everything felt rushed from the start. The “party vibe” never happened as one guide was left to manage a very large group alone, and it really showed. The tour itself included the mud baths, views of the Pitons, the waterfall and snorkelling. These stops were genuinely fun and are beautiful parts of St. Lucia, but they were all rushed because of the delayed start and the size of the group. It felt like we were being moved from place to place without enough time to enjoy any of it properly. After the boat ride, we were transferred to a minibus that was essentially a hired taxi with barely functioning air‑conditioning. It was uncomfortable and didn’t feel like a proper tour vehicle at all. Snorkelling was the only part that felt relaxed, but only because I’m a qualified scuba diver and could go off on my own. Others in the group were hesitant and unsure what to do, and there was no guidance or supervision for first‑timers, which didn’t feel safe or organised. Lunch was fine, but the rum punch on the way back didn’t create any kind of fun vibe, as the group was simply too large and too poorly managed. This tour did not resemble the 5‑star reviews we relied on when booking, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting a well‑organised or lively experience.

Hot Chocolate is the best! Booked a St. Lucia land excursion with him on the beach at Sandals La Toc. His wife, Sweet Chocolate, was our guide on the excursion and she was phenomenal. She shared so much knowledge about the area with the group. It was a nice small group of only four couples, which made it quite enjoyable. The lunch at the local restaurant was probably the highlight for me as the food was amazing and the view of the Pitons from our table couldn’t be beat. Don’t hesitate and book with Hot Chocolate!

We booked our tour with The Man, Hot Chocolate, himself at Sandals La Toc. His wife, Hot Chocolate, was our guide for the mud bath, mineral spring, lunch, etc. tour for our group of 2 couples. The excursion was fun, informative, beautiful, and the lunch at the villa was fantastic! The entire experience was more like an outing with a friend who was a local and not like a paid, informal excursion. I would feel comfortable in assuming that all of the tours with the Hot Chocolate outfit would be the same!

I highly recommend hot chocolate tours for any excursion in Saint Lucia! My husband and I did the mud bath volcano excursion on our honeymoon and we had the best time. Sweet Chocolate was a wonderful guide. We truly felt like we were on a VIP tour. She took us to every spot right before the crowds hit, and if there was a spot with a crowd, we somehow got in and out really quick! It was the best. We were gone from 8:30-2:30, so for how long it was and the amount of things we did, it was well worth the money. We loved it!

Our resort butler recommended we talk to Mitch for the St. Lucia land and sea tour, and we are so happy with the recommendation. His partner Kim did the tour with us and another couple, and we were able to do so much-- stop by the sulphur springs mud bath and waterfall, see the Pitons, take a boat to sugar beach, taste local chocolate and rum, etc. It was a great experience for a reasonable price.

We had a fantastic day on this tour. Joe Valentino did an amazing job of being our guide for the day and ensuring we got everything done with 'no pressure'. We did the banana tree/ketchup tasting, mud baths, the waterfall, snorkelling at the pitons, rum tasting, and chocolate shop with lots of stops for photos at viewing points. Joe took lots of photos of us, so not all selfies, and he took loads at the mud baths and waterfall. If taken by the hotel rep, these would have been to pay for later . Lunch was included, and the buffet was lovely and tasty, and joe also provided us with beers and water on our tour. Hot chocolate arranged everything for us from meeting him on the beach ar sandals Regency Le Toc and his wife sweet chocolate gave us the banana ketchup and spices to taste. I would highly recommend this tour, and it's a bit cheaper than the hotel price with the added bonus of lots of photos on your own phone.

This tour was amazing! We had a blast. Cocoa Stick was an amazing guide and made sure we all felt comfortable and had an excellent experience. Would 100% recommend. One note, if you get motion sickness come prepared! The route is very hilly but worth it for the views and experiences! Thank you to the whole team at Hot Chocolate tours.

The best tour company. Kimmy was our guide. Her knowledge was impeccable. She knew where to take us, the history and all important facts. She made sure we have the best time and that we were not bombarded with crowds. I high recommend booking with them.

Great experience and a must do if you want a smaller group to spend the day with. Mitch (Hot Chocolate) approached us on the beach and we loved his personality and decided to book a sunset cruise and the land/sea tour through him. For the sunset cruise he picked us up for our private trip to the catamaran where we met up with others from all 3 sandals resorts. The following day we were picked up by his wife Kimberly (Sweet Chocolate). We spent the day with her and 2 other couples and had an amazing day. Kimberly was so informative on the drive and really went out of her way to make our day memorable and captures a bunch of pictures for us as well. We started the day doing the mud bath and then went to the waterfall rinse, saw the Pitons, snorkeled at Sugar Beach, had lunch at a local restaurant and experienced their cuisine and finished off at the chocolate factory. Great day and we were gone from 8 am till about 3 pm. Really considering doing the airport transfer so we don’t have to sit around the small airport for over 3 hours if we took the shuttle. A must do for sure!!

We first met Mitch (Hot Chocolate) on the beach of Regency La Toc, Sandals, St. Lucia in mid-April of 2026. He was personable , outgoing and we hit it off from the start. He showed us what his tours consisted of, and left it to us to determine which one we would book. We decided on Island Adventure. He was not pushy, and was delight to deal with. The following day we were picked up by his better half, Kim (aka Sweet Chocolate). We started the tour with one other couple and Kim. She picked us up in a very nice Toyota van, and for the next 5+ hours she showed us hots pots of St. Lucia. As she drove she carried on insightful and interesting talks about the island and the people. We made stops at a banana plantation, chocolate factory, distillery, drove into the volcano park where we mudded ourselves, did the hot bath and wash off, and then drove down to the waterfalls for a final rinse. lol. We had a delicious buffet lunch at a great restaurant, overlooking a picturesque valley and mountains in the background...perfect! Kim also was very helpful in taking our photos so as to remember our great day. All in all, we could not have asked for a better tour. This team was excellent in every way that counts. We did a full day tour with hot chocolate tours to experience the beauty that the island has to offer. Mud baths. Waterfalls. Rum tasting. Snorkelling between the pitons.. 10/10 experience. The driver and guide (Joe) was very safe. Informative and such a great guy. Would definitely recommend hot chocolate tours (also great it was only 2 couples so avoided all the big crowds and tourist groups.

Me and my wife went with them for the island experience with them and it was incredible! We met hot chocolate on the beach and he was so friendly not pushy at all and ended up booking with him. His wife took us on the tour and she was awesome. She new everybody we ran into. Was great friends with the everybody and it was only me and my wife on the tour so between her great relationship with every and just us it was a great vip tour. She made you feel so welcomed by everybody! The tour was great too! we got to see all the great things of the island in a nice timeframe! If you ever go to st Lucia you have to look this family owned very knowledgeable tour guide up. We had the greatest time. Coco stick ,dark chocolate gave us an experience we will never forget. We did the mud baths and piton tour,chocolate and rum tour. We'll worth it!!

BOOK BOOK BOOK!! Incredible day with Kim (Sweet Chocolate) and we really couldn’t recommend enough. Beautiful scenery and you learn so much about the island on the drive. We really couldn’t fault the day. Everything is included in the price (inc food and good drink - say yes to the Rum Punch!) exc. any tips. Kim knew the times to visit to avoid the crowds and we didn’t queue for anything. I have several food allergies and felt very safe with Kim and even managed to try some local cuisine. Thank you Kim!!!

Took the multi stop island tour. Got picked up at La Toc and Mitch met us and got us ready for our tour. Was just two couples and that made the excursion very nice. Sweet Chocolate took photos of us and held our phones when we were in the sulphur baths and waterfalls. Everything was included including lunch for the excursion price. But take cash and your credit card because they make several stops when you can shop locally. Would definitely use them again.

Mitch and Cocoa Stick are great. We book a tour through Sandels and had a bad experience. Hot Chocolate tours came through with a fantabulous day of fun and laughs. I would bookthem any time I am in St Lucia!

Amazing family business operated by 2 of the kindest people on the island. Forget your resort-lead tours and trust Hot and Sweet Chocolate to insure the most informative and culturally inclusive experience. We did the full day tour with visits to the volcanic mud bath, waterfall shower, Rum Distillery, Local Lunch overlooking the Pitons, Banana Farm, Chocolate Shop. (Unforgettable!) Sweet Chocolate takes you to the front of the line and gently shieds you from any persistent peddlers. If No Thank You doesn't work, she gives them them the evil eye. Lol. But honestly, the St. Lucian people are not pushy, they are just really in need of our tourism dollars. Minimum wage is only $6 per hour and they all work multiple jobs, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week just to survive. Finally, they took us to the Friday night Street Party in Gros Islet. They stayed close to us in this huge crush of multicultural humanity, Liquor, Food, and dance music until we understood that this was the safest, most peaceful party on earth. Families of all races, colors, and creeds gather together for a fun time. Tell the Steve and Debbie from Berlin, Maryland sent you. ✌️🎶🏝🍌

On February 19th, 2026, we did a great Island Tour with Kimberley of Hot Chocolate Tours. She was great, and took us to all of the Island points of interest. She was very friendly, funny and informative. 😎. She even took photos for us and with us. As it was only the 4 of us, she was flexible, skipped things and added others, as we wished. It was a great day! We would certainly recommend her to anyone else!

You are in very good hands with Hot Chocolate Tour. They picked us up from our hotel around 8:30am and then we went to a banana plantation farm, Soufriere (mud bath), waterfall, Rum distillery and a chocolate factory. While we were travelling with Sweet Chocolate, she showed us around, made sure to stop whenever there's a good view and give us information about the different places. Overall it was the highlight of our trip, I definitely recommend booking time with Hot Chocolate tours!!! Very informative, and you're taken good care of. Also VERY IMPORTANT: They take pictures of you at the mud bath or waterfall etc. (really good angles as well). I added some pics I took on my own from the tour to give a rough idea of what you see other than mudbath and waterfall

My best friend and I traveled to Saint Lucia for a winter vacation in Jan/Feb 2026. We liked that this tour touched on all of the highlights of the island in one experience. Bananas, mud pits, water fall, chocolate, rum, creole lunch, Pitons, etc. We met Hot Chocolate at our resort. The tour was direct to and from our resort. They stayed true to the time schedule. Our tour was guided by Sweet Chocolate. So knowledgeable and friendly. She helped me purchase local coffee as well. Highly recommend. Loved that we got to experience the island in one day. If you experience motion sickness, take your medication. The Saint Lucian roads are hilly and curvy.

Interesting and entertaining. We did the bean to chocolate experience. It is not a tour, but a chocolate making process where everyone makes his own chocolate from the beans. The instructor was entertaining and explained well the process of making various chocolates. Everyone had fun.

When you get approached on the beach by a guy who introduces himself as "Hot Chocolate," listen to what he has to say! He and his wife, "Sweet Chocolate," run the best guide business in St. Lucia! We went on a full day excursion with them to a beautiful overlook with shopping, a banana farm (very educational), the Sulpher Springs, a chocolate factory and a Rum factory (where you can sample like 20 kinds of rum). The Mud Bath at the Springs was a wonderfully unique experience, followed by a dip in the Touraille Waterfalls - so beautiful! All the while, Sweet Chocolate is giving you the history of the island and the beautiful Pitons! She is the best and made the whole experience even better than what it was. In the middle of all of this, a delicious buffet lunch was included. And, they provide beer, water and soft drinks for the ride. I would 100% recommend booking a tour through this company!!

We had the opportunity to go with Sweet Chocolate on the volcano mud bath waterfall tour. It was fantastic!!! She provided us a VIP tour and made sure we all had a great experience. Her knowledge of the island, friendliness and personality made this an extremely fun wonderful way to take in the sights and enjoy the island. Honestly, we had the best time. Sweet Chocolate was incredible. We booked a tour from 830am-2pm with just one other couple. She called it a VIP tour and we were treated as such! We saw the banana farm and tasted some delicious sauces made from them, then made multiple stops for photos, sweet chocolate made sure we were standing in the perfect spots for the best photos and selfies. We did the mud baths where she herded us in so quickly that we hardly noticed how crowded it was, then she let us keep the mud on our face and took us to the waterfall to rinse it in the clear water where she also got the best photos for us. Then we had a delicious lunch overlooking the pitons and after lunch we did the chocolate shops and the rum distillery. She was SO knowledgeable during the trip, pointing out every lamdmark and giving us every bit of history she knew along the way. Honestly, my husband and I didn’t plan to take any excursions and a man on the beach talked us into this one and we are so so glad he did! What an incredible day experiencing so many of the iconic things in St. Lucia.

Hot chocolate tours took such great care of us on our excursion. The driver was amazing with incredible driving skills constantly navigating the streets of St. Lucia. Our guide Cosmic was so great and added so much fun to our trip. We got to see so many amazing things today. It is a long and windy road so if you get car sick, I’d definitely take something for that but all in all it was a great day and I’d definitely recommend hot chocolate tours.

I felt so taken care of and safe with Sweet Chocolate. This is a small our that only has four couples total and it is a family run business. I highly recommend. I would give 10 stars if I could. It was the highlight of our trip!

My husband were on holiday with our 2 sons and their partners and we all wanted to do different things so they provided a bespoke land and sea package. We were picked up at the dive centre and driven nearby to get the boat. The speed boat was exhilarating and we had a visit to the Rum factory, chocolate factory and trips to Marigot bay and other areas hugging the coast line including sugar beach where we could get off and snorkel. Sweet chocolate also took us to see a banana plantation where we could buy products . Great fun, informative and great staff. Highly recommend !!
