2 Hour Atv Adventure In The Skaftafell Area

Been in Iceland for about a week, seeing and doing alot of tours and activities. Outside of seeing the Northern Lights, this by far was our best tour here in Iceland. I would highly recommend booking with this company. The Owner was amazing and provided information on local history and history of Iceland.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Skaftafell ATV! Siggi and Eyrun were knowledgeable, welcoming, and terrific hosts from start to finish. They clearly know the area and did a great job making the experience both fun and adventurous. The course itself is ideal for anyone looking for a little excitement while taking in the incredible Icelandic landscape. We did the two hour tour and were glad to have the extra time to see more of the area. The equipment is new and in excellent condition, and they outfit each rider with exactly what is needed to enjoy the trip safely and comfortably. This was one of the highlights of our Iceland trip. Great hosts, excellent equipment, and a genuinely fun adventure. We would absolutely recommend Skaftafell ATV to anyone visiting the area!

Siggi the owner was my guide. The trip on a quiet foggy day is mystical through the black sand dunes and desert. Excellent history provided of the area. The flora is beautiful in this desert land. Crossing rivers and brooks. A lovely afternoon. Thank you.

The couple who run this operation are efficient, easy to talk to, and extremely accommodating. They provide a full set of warm clothing and all the equipment needed for a comfortable ride. They also share interesting information about the surrounding area and Iceland in general. The ride is fun and well worth your time if you are visiting the area, especially if it is your first ATV experience. However, it is important to note that the tour does not actually take you onto—or particularly close to—the glacier itself.

Amazing! My first time in an ATV and was a great experience in the valley of the beautiful glacier lagoon. Guides (Siggi & Eryun) were excellent, so friendly and shared knowledge of the area. Very close to hotel where we stayed. Highly recommended!!

This was a great experience and so much fun. Our guides were thoughtful and knew exactly what they were doing. Having lived on a nearby farm their whole life they know this enormous sand like the palm of their hand. This was my first time driving a bike like this and if I can do it you can too 🥰

The couple who run the business tool is out for the ride, they were very nice and helpful and gave us some interesting information about the area on the way round. The ride was really exciting across different terrain.

We had a fantastic time with Skaftafell Adventures on our ATV tour! They had everything to keep us warm and safe and we were so glad we chose the two hour tour because we definitely would have wanted to keep going after one. An unexpected bonus was that the husband and wife team have deep roots in the area and shared a lot with us about their family history and the land we were riding on.

Siggy and Erin led a wonderful tour for our family of 5. The equipment was in great condition and made us all feel comfortable and warm no matter what we arrived wearing. They took us on a ride for 2 full hours- stopping at times to explain the history and geology of the region as only locals can. It was so interesting- even our boys were talking about their stories for days after we left. I wasn’t sure what to expect but this ended up being one of the top experiences of our trip. I’m so glad we did it!

Very competent and friendly family-run ATV-tour companny whith truely locals who owns and know the land, its naturell and history. Very professorens and really friedly with kids. Super value for money in this full 2 hour drive on very sporty but comfortabke ATVs. Not a dull moment. Our entire family would highly recommend it. We would love to come back 😀

Absolutely amazing trip that has such a diverse scenery and fun paths. I know the earea quite well but this was an unique way to experience Öræfi.

Nice young couple who just launched this new quad business. We took the 2 hours package. It was fun with a lot of small rivers crossing. Be prepared to get a little wet. Wear waterproof boots.
