The Guide was super knowledgeable and kind! He made me feel very comfortable and was very mindful of me being two weeks after surgery, helping me take pictures and even helping me carry my things since I can't lift heavy. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to know about the history of little India and all the nice stores and food places.

William is highly knowledgeable about the history and culture of both the Indian and Malay communities in Singapore. His tour took us through some interestingly different parts of the city that we would not otherwise have visited or understood. We recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about the multicultural history of the city.
I was a little hesitant at first about going on a walking tour as I didn’t think there was much to see, however my sister organised it anyway. After meeting William, I was so impressed about his knowledge and how comfortable he is about sharing the history of Singapore and answering any question we had about the people, places, foods etc. William is without doubt one of the best guides we’ve had. He made our stay in Singapore the best experience I’ve ever had, and I’ll come back again to show my husband all the places we visited. I would highly recommend this tour to any new or returning visitors.
Just finished a tour with William and want to gush about how fantastic he was. One of the best tour guides I have ever had. Informative and interesting together with incredible kindness. Put history of Singapore and current day in context. I will definitely be contacting William the next time I am in Singapore.
Gene met us right on time at the designated location. Gene was a wealth of knowledge. I wasn’t sure what to expect but Gene impressed us with his overview of both the history of Singapore as well as the complex cultural heritage and current day to day aspects of Singaporean life. We walked through a few different neighborhoods and Gene pointed out and explained histories and important individuals as well as how Singapore continues to evolve and change. Gene was a wealth of knowledge on food as well, and gave us a full tour of a food market and explained the different foods offered and then ordered some dishes for us to sit down and try, really delicious dishes unique to Singapore’s people. We got a really good sense of how Singapore came to be and what life is like for the average citizen today and how their heritage factors into that life. We found the tour both intellectually fascinating without being overwhelming and had a lot of fun while exploring these neighborhoods. Thanks Gene!!!!
Kristine was an excellent guide who had deep knowledge of Little India and Kampong Glam, and went above in beyond in making us feel welcome and at home. She adjusted the route to our pace and interests, and told us all about the history of the area.
An outstanding and highly enjoyable tour with Gene. What made the experience particularly memorable was the perfectly balanced mix of audiovisual information, fascinating impressions of the neighbourhoods, and excellent culinary experiences along the way. Gene was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. All of my specific questions about Singapore’s history, society and people were answered thoughtfully and placed into a broader and very interesting context. A great way to discover Little India and Kampong Glam beyond the usual tourist perspective. Highly recommended — and special thanks to Gene for an excellent tour!
Cathy was an amazing guide, super knowledgeable with detailed insight into the complex history of Singapore and its people.
We did the tour with William and it was very interesting!! He knows a lot and taught us a lot about these 2 areas and Singapore in general. We booked a private tour because we were traveling with our 5 kids and he accommodate the tour to make it more kid friendly. Thanks William!!
Loy is a very knowledgeable and friendly, guide. He shared fascinating insights into the history of Little India and Kampong Glam, and he explained more to me about the unique and interesting structural organization of Singapore. The length of the tour was just right, and the local spot Loy recommended for lunch was delicious. This experience offered exceptional value for the price! Thank you, Loy!
Justin was a great tour guide, from the communications about logistics leading up to the tour date all the way through recommendations on how to spend the rest of my time in Singapore. He not only was very knowledgeable about the stops on the tour but also provided additional information about the history of Singapore while we were traversing the city between Little India and Kampong Glam. Highly recommend this tour and suggest bringing an empty stomach! 😅
William was the perfect tour guide - very friendly; was obviously keen to share about his culture; was able to accommodate our two young boys by condensing the information component of our tour; introduced us to numerous delicious local dishes (which we wouldn’t have otherwise tried); and even made contact with us before our tour, sending us directions and a map so that we were able to negotiate the MRT with confidence to our meeting point. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him for your Little India and Kampong Glam walking tour - it was a real highlight of our Singapore stay. Thank you so much William.
Was amazing. John was a great guide. I love walking tours because you learn so much about the local culture from experts and John was definitely an expert. Would hight recommend
I really enjoyed the tour with John. He ist very attentiv and knows so much about Singapore and shared his knowledge with me. Furthermore the choice of food was delicious. Thanks a lot John!
Our tour guide Justin was great, he met us on time at our hotel and explained what we would be going to do and see before we left. He was very informative and made sure we had lots of regular refreshments as it was so hot. We ate lots of the local food and each one was explained by him. He explained how to use the underground so that we'd have the confidence to use it to get around by ourselves after the tour. Highly recommend, lovely chap xx
Our Guide Christine was amazing. Friendly, professional, highly knowledgeable and great customer service. She was easy to speak to, gave us some interesting insights and made the whole trip very enjoyable. She often stopped to ask if we had any questions. She tailored to food portions of the outing to my food allergies and preferences. I give her a 5 star rating. Thanks Christine for making out day special. Wayne and Linnet Western Australia
William was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. He gave us a great overview of the history of Singapore overall and more specifics on little India and Kampong Glam. This tour was more focused on history and culture but also included breakfast at a hawker center where we sampled Chinese, Malay and Indian breakfasts. Highly recommend, though will note may want to dress modestly to enter Hindu temple and Mosque ( both do provide coverings, but gets pretty hot in extra layers)
