Singapore City Tour Cultural Discovery & Gardens By The Bay

This tour briefly hit all the different regions and culture of the City. Our guide was well educated on the different religion and beliefs .

Tina, our tour guide was the best part of our tour, she was excited to show off Singapore, took a ton of pictures that she sent us on WhatsApp, and was just super friendly. One of the great things about this tour is that we spent time actually walking through some of the areas of Singapore that other tours either may not even get to or simply drive through; places like Little India, the streets of Kampong Glam, Chinatown. And, of course, hitting the highlights like the Gardens by the Bay and the Merlion.

Sanjid was the best tour guide very thorough and gave enough time at every spot for pics. Sanjid was very knowledgeable and answered all questions

We had a fantastic experience on the Singapore City Tour – Cultural Discovery & Gardens by the Bay. It was a great way to see some of Singapore’s highlights in a short amount of time, and the tour was very well organised. The tour was quite fast-paced, but that was understandable given how much there was to see and do in the time available. We packed a lot into our afternoon and got to experience a great mix of Singapore’s culture, history and iconic sights. A special mention must go to our tour guide, Whienie, who was absolutely lovely. She was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging, and shared lots of interesting information about Singapore’s history, culture and way of life. She kept everything running smoothly despite the busy itinerary and was happy to answer our questions. The Cultural Discovery part of the tour gave us a wonderful insight into Singapore’s diverse heritage, while Gardens by the Bay was spectacular and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore, particularly if you want to see and learn a lot in a relatively short amount of time. We were able to see a significant overview of Singapore as well as few highlights during a short period of time. It was definitely worth our time to experience with a knowledgeable tour guide.

AZ was an excellent guide, giving us a nice overview of the ethnicities and history of this amazing City. He could answer all our questions and he was very careful for our safety. His driver was also very helpful and they coordinated our pick up as we walked around. It was nice that we also took a shuttle around Garden by the Bay with Audio tour. There was very little walking, non stressful. I highly recommend it.

Nice tour visiting the top attractions. Our guide Mag was amazing and had a wealth of knowledge. She helped take photos and helped with other recommendations.

Mag was a great tour guide. She gave us a lot of good information. She was also mindful of my aunt who had a hip problem. The tour driver was also very good and the tour covered some of the must do things in Singapore.

Our guide, Don, was SENSATIONAL!! Knows lots about Singapore and shares it all!! This tour did duplicate stops of other tours we took☹️

Very informative and great places to see and visit. Our guide Aziz was excellent and had been doing these tours for many years, sometimes 2 a day and our driver Captain Zack got us around. We started out at Faber Point in Merlion Park to view the Lion/Fish statue/fountain. The fish body represents the beginings of Singapore as a fishing village. The lions head represents the original city name of Singapura (lion city is Sanscrit). Faber Point overlooks Marina Bay Then on to Than Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest Chinese temples in Singapore. It was built to worship Mazu, a sea goddess. There is the main worship area as well as many alcoves where minor gods are worshiped. They all have their specialties and people pray based upon what they seek, hope, or are thankful for. Next we visited the nearby Gardens by the Bay. So many flowers/trees/plants-Beautiful gardens everywhere . They will be celebrating the upcoming new year (Horse) Starting February 17th. There are Two domes that were air conditioned - the flower dome and Cloud Forest dome, Jurassic Park themed. Excellent visit!

Azed was very knowledgeable and gave us complete history of the Gardens,Temples and Singapore roots. Very informative and patient with us

Guide was excellent. We learned a lot. Flowers were beautiful. Very pretty Temple Merlion Statue was imposing.

This tour was a perfect introduction to the beauty in Singapore. Don expertly guided us to the best features/attractions and shared history and interesting stories along the way.

Whienie our Tour Guide is exceptional. She is pretty articulate and shared with us a wealth of information on Singaporean history and traditions . She also takes instagram- worthy pictures which is an added bonus. She made good suggestions on Singaporean food, when she was asked. If you ever visit Singapore and are particularly interested in this tour - ask for Whienie, you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I got a private tour with Don. He was fantastic and told us all the history and even answered my husband’s bizarre questions about Singapore. The activities were amazing too. We didn’t have a lot of expectations for the sky dome but this tour had been one of our highlights on our trip. Best tour guide and fantastic tour.

This is a fantastic experience. Our guide, Tina, was clearly passionate about Singapore which made it all the more exciting for us. She took copious numbers of photos of us at various sites which she sent to me. She was like a whirlwind, but in a good way! We had a fabulous time.

When we planned our visit, I didn’t realize there was a Jurassic World theme going on, so that was a really nice surprise! The dinosaurs looked very realistic, and since we went around 3–4 pm the lighting made them look even more real in my opinion. I’d suggest going around that time if you can. We spent about two hours there, and overall it was a great experience There are lots of things to see inside. I’d recommend coming as a family. your kids will probably either love the dinosaurs or get a little scared by them 10/10 🦖

Absolutely loved the time spent with our guide AZ. He was amazing, friendly and very informative, we learned so much about your beautiful city and also got a few very helpful tips from AZ. Loved the beautiful gardens at the bay, absolutely stunning and also loved the kiwi(New Zealand) contribution. Highly recommended tour for the history aspect and highly recommended tour guide. Our tour guide Ive was wonderful. The van picked my wife and I up at our hotel at our hotel on time we met Ive. She shared her love for Singapore by explaining so much of the history to us. My wife and I enjoyed our time on tour.

Excellent tour - guide very informative and pitched talk at appropriate duration. Points of interest visited were good, but from personal perspective would have sacrificed visit to Temple to allow more time at Gardens by the Bay.

Really nice tour, it gave us a good idea of the financial district and the marina. The gardens by the bay are so worth the visit. Only complaint, we wish we had had more time to visit the gardens instead of having to visit a souvenir shop in the middle of nowhere and really unspecial (can find the same stuff cheaper all over the city).

The guide was very good but air conditioning not working in the minibus. We were also kept waiting 40 minutes after gardens by the bay for the transfer back to the hotel.

Make sure your hotel is within range of a pickup spot, otherwise you’re in for taxi fare. And while we made it clear that we would be going back to the pickup spot of the others, the driver literally left us stranded at the venue at the end of the day. That’s TWO taxi fares.

Our guide, Jeffrey was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. The tour was a great way to see both some of the old and new Singapore.

Sorry it was terrible Experience We didn’t get right tickets to Cloud mountain n Skywalk in the Gardens by the BayWe were given old Used tickets already The staffers there were very nice helping to get right tickets from agent Wanderlust but again given used tickets second time Staffers nice enough to let us see Cloud Mountain complimentary since we waisted time correcting tickets never got correct ones Staffers advices us to get REFUND for tickets we didn’t getAlso nobody pick us from Garden by the Bay to go back to Fairmont hotel waiting about hour We have to get taxi ourselves to go back to hotel Sorry to write this but that’s what happened to us

Misleading tour description, had only about 15 minutes of commentary, when promised "Expert Guidance throughout the tour". Vehicle was inadequate, only 1/3 of participants could see what was talked about when driving by scenery.

A very nice overall orientation to the city and highlights with more in-depth visits to the Thian Hock Keng Temple, Merlion Park, and then 2 1/2 hours in Gardens by the Bay (tickets to the Cloud Forest Dome and the Supertree Grove/OCBC Skyway included). Hotel pick-up was included. Delightful way to spend a half day.

Hotel pick up was good. From there the drive around the city was not informative or useful. Visit to merlion was good but we were just dropped off to do this on our own. Next we were dropped off at Gardens By the Bay and had to navigate the specific attractions ( observation sky walk and cloud forest) totally on our own. We were picked up by another driver and can who did not even know our names, only the bane if the hotel to drop us off. Do not choose this tour if you are hoping for any personalized service or any informants out Singapore and its sights

morning tour was well organised.. Guide Adam well prepared and give good introduction of Singapore and site. Garden by bay with thousands smell of nature and flowers.

We had a fabulous morning tour . Our driver was very good at pointing out places and history as we drove round . There was only four of us on this tour, but met a lovely couple from Toronto. They was great company and took photos for each other whilst visiting all the sites. Really enjoyed Merlon on the river banks. Driver gave us plenty of time to take our photos, also parked right bye site for us. Bay of the gardens was my favourite place its amazing and a must visit for anyone. you could very easily spend the hole day there. This is number ONE Tour in Singapore . Also a big thankyou to our driver for waiting longer to collect us at Bay of The Gardens.

Adam was very nice and accommodating. He gave a lot of information about Singapore. I asked to be dropped off at the hotel instead of the final stop at Gardens by the Bay. It was raining hard and decided to go to the Garden later in the day and wait for the rain to stop,
