Itinerary
Siloso Point is separated from Labrador Park on mainland Singapore by less than half a kilometre of sea. This proximity has fuelled an urban legend about an undersea tunnel connecting British-constructed forts and artillery batteries at both locations. Despite numerous excavations and restorations, no tunnel has been found and none appear on maps or documents. The names of places and natural features on Blakang Mati reflect the local communities, economic and social history, as well as the island’s flora and fauna. Near where Fort Siloso stands, today was an area known as Sarang Rimau, Tiger’s den in Malay, used by the Orang Laut to reflect their knowledge of the area.
Siloso Beach, one of three beaches with swimming lagoons created by Sentosa Development Corporation, SDC during the 1970s and 1980s has a rich history. Its name comes from the Malay word for “rock”, initially a strategic defence point. It was transformed into a vibrant tourist hotspot in the 1970s. Today, Siloso Beach is renowned for its beach volleyball, water sports and bustling nightlife, where the energy never fades and the parties keep going.
Palawan Beach, is named after the Malay word “Pahlawan,” meaning warrior or hero. During the colonial period, British soldiers frequented Palawan Beach to protect swimmers from frequent shark and saltwater crocodile sightings. The British erected shark fences known as “swimming pagars” in Malay. Thankfully, these predators are no longer found around Sentosa, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for beachgoers today.
In 2003, Sentosa Cove was launched as a 117-hectare gated enclave featuring 2600 homes, including oceanfront villas, mansions and condominiums. Of the 117 hectares, 100 hectares are reclaimed land. The area includes five artificial islands Coral Island, Paradise Island, Treasure Island, Sandy Island and Pearl Island, mostly reserved for bungalows. The residential developments are clustered in the northern and southern precincts. As of June 2015, Sentosa Cove housed over 5000 residents living in 2160 homes, primarily condominiums, terraced houses and bungalows.
Lazarus Island, once known as Pulau Sakijang Pelepah, meaning island of deer and palms in Malay, housed prison confinement sheds in the late 19th century. These were abandoned after a prisoner’s daring escape. Today, the island attracts visitors to its clean, white sandy beach on a c-shaped lagoon known as one of Singapore’s best-kept secrets. Lazarus Island is one of the few spots in the southern islands where private yachts and boats can anchor, allowing visitors to enjoy its pristine beaches and unspoiled beauty.

Had a wonderful experience at Royal Albatross! The food was absolutely amazing, and every dish was delicious and well presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The view was simply breathtaking, making it a perfect place to relax, enjoy a good meal, and take in the beautiful surroundings. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and an amazing view!
smooth from start to finish! the staff were all so lovely and attentive, very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was the best it could be :) food was also stellar, loved every bite! would love to come back in the future for sure
⛵✨ Such a wonderful experience! The sailing, the food, the beautiful views, and the overall ambiance were absolutely amazing. ❤️ Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable, and unique dining experience. Thank you so much to the wonderful, kind, and accommodating crew! You made our sailing and dining experience even more special and memorable. Truly a worthwhile and unforgettable experience! 🌊🍽️
We had a great time in Royal Albatross! It was a fun experience, though I experienced motion sickness! Haha but overall its amazing!! Thank you Anna, Dante and the whole team for serving us!!!
Great experience to celebrate a family anniversary! Food is delicious, including kids menu.
Interesting BTS theme experience! Staff has been very helpful. Food acceptable.
All the staffs are very friendly and service excellent. Their headchef dishes are excellent! Its a must try experience.
Very wonderful experience! Love it! Celebrated my mum's birthday!
Had my proposal to my girlfriend and now my fiancé, she said yes! Staffs helped a lot all throughout the cruise. They also took photos and videos for me. Special thank to Ma’am Anna, Sir Anthony and sir Rallion. They have helped a lot in making the cruise memorable for me and my fiancé. Kudos to team Albatross.
Food was lovely although you might want to encourage the chef not to hover over passengers while they are selecting their food. Wine quality was terrible. Flowers were beautiful. BUT seriously people stop with all the marketing emails. I signed up with Trip Advisor not with you. But you are abusing the access to send me way too many emails. Over 30 odd. And when I ask you to stop you then sent me two on the same day. So I asked again. And now you send me 3 of the same. Which is why I have rated this experience so poorly.
I went on this lovely cruise as a birthday surprise invitation by my wife. The ship is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff were generally kind and courteous. The food was also tasty, albeit some portions were somewhat small. (Par for the course in Singapore). While the service was good, I found that the service staff is not empowered to do what is necessary to delight the customer. For example, I was set to order a Long Island ice tea but I didn’t like Cuervo tequila and asked nicely if they would use Don Julio instead. The waiter looked at me as if I was from Mars, but he proceeded to tell me that he would have to check with his manager! He came back in a few minutes and promptly told me “So sorry, cannot”. At $25 dollars per drink, I would have expected a bit more flexibility and accommodation. If your business is in the hospitality industry, then this shouldn’t be such a difficult guest request. Similarly situation occurred as I asked for a 2nd roll of bread. There seems to be a scarcity mindset on board, which is incongruent with general principles of hospitality. I would have been more inclined to order more drinks if I the manager had been a bit more thoughtful and accommodating.
The trip was amazing especially when the sails were up. Staff attentive and gave great service. Food was great. A great experience
The overall experience is just great. It’s a nice cruise, and all the catering staff is very attentive if you need anything. Buffet food can be a hit and miss, but no complaints here as the food was good quality as were the free flow drinks. Special thanks to Captain Mike Willie and his crew who are not only sailing the ship, but also interacting with the guests. And thanks to him for answering my nautical question as well. It is good to know that this cruise does not take place under sail, but with engine power. For sure there are operational reasons for that. If you’re looking a pure sailing cruise, do enquire before if it will be under sail or under engine power.
Wonderful service and amazing experience!!! We had a really special time on the cruise. The service was amazing and the lights were spectacular.
Very relaxing and good food! Great service. The staff was very friendly. Good view of the city lights. Overall an excellent experience!
The Royal Albatross cruise dinner was flawlessly executed, and every aspect, from the initial inquiry to the event's completion, was seamless. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout, ensuring a memorable experience. The ship's elegance and exquisite menu impressed us. We even celebrated our colleague's birthday onboard. The entire event was coordinated seamlessly, and we highly recommend the Royal Albatross cruise dinner for an unforgettable evening at sea.
Beautiful boat, good and staff! Prompt and comfortable boarding with greatest care taken for experience from very start (registration) to finish ❤️
For value for money , nearly $500 for two people for a 7 course meal included, it was disappointing. Not too much to see apart from hundreds of ships and not much of the city lights. Maybe the cruise could have gone closer to the city area. The meal overall was disappointing, not what we expected for a 7 course meal. The additional drinks we had were, 1 beer cost $19 !!! and a glass of juice cost $10 !!! the compimentory drink, scotch & coke had more coke & ice than scotch, a glass of coke was the same. The $500 would have been better spent going to a fine dining, silver service restaurant or hotel and still have change left over, Very disappionted.
Excellent Ambience, Food & Service. Must try out this experience at least once a life time. Kudos to Antony n team !
Highly recommend :) love the food . Me my fiancé are vegetarian and we requested for special vegetarian food and we loved how they served the food. I would definitely come again. Quite atmosphere with some romantic music xx our server was really good ( anna )
The food, the drinks, the music, the band, the service, the ambiance was impeccable! Highly recommend everyone to try it super romantic.
Amazing cruise with perfect views and perfect food. Worth every cent and would definitely recommend if you are in Singapore.
Booked in advance for my anniversary, crew members were amazing and good was delicious.! And unforgettable night for my wife and I . 100% recommended!!!
I was amazed to dine on board a romantic ship that sail peacefully along the Southern city lights of Singapore. The food is delicious. The company is great. The view is perfect. The ship is timeless. What else do I expect from life? Come onboard!
“I took the city lights dinner Cruize on tallship last Saturday as a surprise gift for hubby bday. I am really happy I did. The ship itself was fun, we are allowed to walk around and explore. The crew were very nice and attentive to us. We watched the fireworks in the sky , sitting at the stern… overall for 3 hours it gives a very beautiful experience. The food was really tasty , especially the dessert platter and the carpaccio… special thanks to Devi , who was always available and responded quickly to my questions and helped out every step of the journey ! In the end, we had a small glitch where the limo missed us, but Devi and Manager Allan, got that solved as well. I would love to go again sometime next year ☺️☺️”
Great experience, worth every single cent! We went for the night dinner cruise for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was good, drinks were good, staff were very friendly and the views were magical. Definitely recommend!
We had a lovely experience on the Royal Albatross! We went for the City Lights Dinner Cruise. Everything from ambience, service to food, was highly enjoyable! I would recommend it to anyone, especially to celebrate a special occasion. We went with our kids and they enjoyed it very much too!
It’s an experience you shouldn’t miss. The cruise the staff make it a great experience. You see the entire skyline of Singapore !!
Service was phenomenal and the food was just fabulous! This is our 2nd time being here and we’ll definitely be back next time but with our daughter. Kudos to everyone for an amazing experience!
Amazing experience. Good food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Good for date nights or celebrating a friend birthday
Amazing views around Sentosa island. Food was very good. A beautiful ship with some some interesting history. Would recommend for a couples night out
I've been about a bit. There are few things that can compare to the feeling I had this evening on this ship. I am with my wife on our 20th anniversary. This evening has been the epitome of class and serenity. The staff, the FOOD, the atmosphere.. al of it was just exquisite. If you get the chance, even if it means pushing the boat out (pun intended) then do yourself and your better half the service of taking advantage of something truly beautiful.
Beautiful experience to set you apart from the usual sights and sounds of the city. We had a sprinkle of rain but the covers keep you dry and the constant breeze cool, so all in all we had a lovely experience. The food is lovely, service great and the ship itself in immaculate condition. Highly recommend !
Excellent service and top notch food and drinks ... staff excellent and experience of the sailing great 👍 great experience would recommend to anyone while in Singapore 🇸🇬
Cruising along the Singapore strait was an experience not to miss. Tara made us feel at ease and generous hospitality, especially with her incredible cocktail recommendations.
Enjoyed our cruise. Expected to have better lighting for photos though , we couldn’t take good quality pictures, otherwise everything was good
A wonderful evening, excellent food, good service and a brilliant ambience. The live music was very enjoyable - our only suggestion is that there could be more of it! Overall we would highly recommend.
Very nice staff and very nice good food served. Nice experience.highly recommended. Suitable for couples event and all
When do you ever get to experience a 4 course meal on an old wooden ship (diversity). Great experience, friendly staff and beautiful meal.
Nice evening. Friendly an professional staff Very good food. Nice views of Singapore and a very good atmosphere. Will go again
The experience was superb, and the staff were very accommodating. And according to my husband, it was quite relaxing. Indeed a happy birthday for my hubs🥳
Very nice cruise and dinner but I thought we’d go into Singapore harbor. Stopped short and turned around. Music was beautiful and live. This was a big plus for atmosphere. The yacht is a lovely sailing ship. Check out my insta maxiegram on sept 3rd.
The four course menu was an optimal amount. My partner and I enjoyed the music particularly and the drinks were good value.
Great food, fantasic and timely service, lovely music, +point is that the Captain sailed the ship so smoothly! Overall 👍🏻👍🏻
We loved the Dinner Cruise on the Royal Albatross. The captain - who gave us a great little tour of the boat - and the entire crew (many of them Filipino - kababayan!) made the experience very memorable. They’re all game to help their guests plan a surprise - from birthday celebrations to wedding proposals! Tip: make sure you’re hungry - their servings are quite generous. Non-alcoholic drinks are free flowing and the Baked Alaska is good for 4 people - maybe more!
This is our fourth trip and each time we are very impressed by the hospitality. The staff and food were both exceptional. Will definitely bring our guests again.
Just boarded and crew are fantastic, fast and efficient.Thinking tonight will be a great evening..once in a life time experience.🙂🙂
Great time on board for our first night in Singapore! The staff was super attentive and the food was delicious!
Great food, great service, and great weather. The service staff were very attentive. It’s a beautiful experience, we all enjoyed it.
