Ping is a really good tour guide! She is the one who assisted us all the way and very nice and flexible with the schedule.
The tour guy was very friendly and knew a lot about Singapore. I would have liked to see a few more places in the 2.5hours. The tour itself is free to join but you are expected to tip, which would be good to know before hand.
My family enjoyed an excellent 4 hour private tour of Singapore with John from Monster Tours and it was worth every penny as we were short of time and wanted to get an overview of the history and cultures in Singapore. Lovely clean air conditioned vehicle took us from place to place and John have an ext commentary as we drove and then as we walked around each area/ site. He was incredibly well informed, entertaining and showed us every kindness when some were struggling with the heat! I really recommend a tour with John from Monster Tours!
Heng Lim is great! He provided a thoughtful and engaging tour in Singapore through the Chinese cultural heritage. Highly recommended tour!
Lim Rui Heng gave us such a good tour, history of the places. I loved that.
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour of China Town. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and we both felt we learned so much about the culture and history of the city
I took a tour called "Little India" with Rosalind and I couldn't choose better. Not only she supported me when I was late for another tour the same day morning (I only found her number in the hurry, because Rosalind sent me an WA instruction previous day), but her tour was amazing! I found out so many new information about the place, the tour was fun and elaborated and Rosalind was so professional all the time. So many insider tips we got during the tour. Every question has been answered. I really appreciate her passion about the topic and I can't wait for another tour by her side in the future! Thank you, Rosalind, once again.
Very knowledgable guide, excellent historical knowledge. Fun tour! Whilst advertised as free recommended payment to guide 20-30 Singapore dollars.
Rosalind was such amazing guide! She explained things clearly and was very open to answer any questions. I especially enjoyed that she also included stories of her and her family‘s experiences growing up in Singapore. Thank you so much for this wonderful and informative tour!
This tour was amazing !! Our tour guide was Jon Chan and he was just the absolute best tour guide . He has so much knowledge of Singapore and is just the nicest person ! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Singapore . My husband and I learned so much walking around Singapore with him and got to taste a bunch of local food as well . We spent two days and a few hours each day and it was so worth it ! He also gave us a ton of recommendations of sights to see and restaurants and places to try . This tour with Jon is a must !
Went on a tour with Ping as our tour guide, although the group size was small her tour was still extremely engaging, and her story tell was very impressive. I learned a lot about Little India today and I deeply admire her professionalism.
The tour was very informativ and my guide Lisa had a lot of stories and personal memories to share, which made the tour very interessting. Lisa was very friendly and had a lot of knowlage about the history of Chinatown. I can highly recommand that tour and will do of the other tours as well, next time i'm in Singapore.
I went through the Chinatown waking tour today on 12 May Tuesday with Mr Lim Rui Heng. He is very Knowledgeable guide, very good taking care of the tour. Thank you very much for your sharing to help us understand more about culture and history of Singapore specially Chinatown area. And also a small snack gifted to be care. Special you will have a best promotion to visit Chinatown Heritage Center.
Ping was knowledgeable, informed about Singapore’s rich history and showed us many historic sites! She was even kind enough to take photos of us all near many famous landmarks and gave us great recommendations. Thank you!
I really love the walking tour. The Guide is informative and cheerful . It make us more comfortable even though there is an incident in Temple because the one who in charge there said that the temple is close but our Guide still can control the emotion. Really need you big hands! So helpful so powerful..
10/10! We went to so many different places like the Buddhist hall, the Hindu temple done in the South Indian style, the Tekkeh Center, etc. At each location, Ping gave us the history behind it in an easily digestible way. Super fun!
We had a fabulous morning with Just Ng. We loved his enthusiasm, knowledge and witty comments. We learned and saw so much more than we’d ever have on our own. A great experience which I highly recommend.
Monday 6th April 2026 - Fabulous, thank you 🙏 I would recommend this wonderful tour 100% . Thank you Heng
Interesting tour with Lim Rui Heng. A lof of facts. Key information given.
Given that it was my first time to.com.to Singapore, it was very interesting not only the city itself but how amazing the people were. The culture here is so advanced that people value and respect each other and a very friendly despite their busy schedules. Even the tour guide was very eloquent and flexible despite some team member were late to be at the location that was agreed with the group. All in all, it was an experience of a life time and will bring back the memory of this beautiful city and its people when I travel back to PNG.
Super interesting and informative Singapore city walking tour with Rui Heng! He was clear, and the tour was really well structured and gave a lot of insight into the city. Would recommend!
Leo was just amazing patient and awealth of knowledge and i formation in all aspects of the tour
Bernard was an excelent tour guide, he gave us his personal touch on the Chinatown history, with great stories and a cheerful character.
Our guide Ping was amazing! She told us lots of historical background, religious background so we could fully appreciate the melting pot here. The anecdotes that she shared made us understand a little about life here in Singapore. I fully recommend Ping, without a doubt!
Angel is a knowledgeable and informative tour guide. Covered all the necessary information and historical facts brilliantly. Enjoyed thoroughly
Super fun and comorehensive tour with very informative tour guide. We really enjoyed the tour and the guide really enriched the experience.
Ping shared lots of historic and cultural information and stories. She brought Singapore alive. She is articulate and enthusiastic in her delivery. The route held interest. One of the best!
Ping is a passionate guide! The tour was so informative that even though there was heavy rain during the tour everything was enjoyable :) I’d highly recommend you to book a tour with Ping if you are in Singapore✨
I love such activities initiated by Monster Day Tours, SG (Little India) and I had several good experiences and comments on the tour and the guide. However, this Little India trip on the 3rd March 2026, 4:00pm, both my wife and I were disappointed with the information given to the group, especially with mostly tourist in the midst. Several points were mentioned, which, in my opinion needs further verification and correction: It was mentioned by the guide 1. Singapore is not a country, but only a city state 2. Singapore’s current population stand at 6.7 million 3. Out of the 6.7 million, 42% were Chinese, 24% were Malays 4. Food stall at Tekka market pay only $75/- per month per stall Secondly, we were expecting a heritage walk and guide, however, the first part of it was more on food, seafood, how to choose crab, cooking curry fish head, offering private Indian dinner if anyone intends to hold party for celebrations. We left after the Tekka market. My intention of putting this up is to ensure tourists in Singapore deserve an accurate and up-to-date information about our country.
Mui the guide was great. She is so enthusiastic that it transfers to the people. Very interesting trip through Chinatown, nice places and facts, we learned a lot. Thank you Mui!!!
Very nice guide : thank you Simon ! We recommend the tour
The tour guide explained the history of Little India very well and shared with us her childhood experience of this place. I have a deeper understanding of this place and appreciate the history and culture more.. Superb.
Shane was very informative and we learned loads. A lovely sense of humour too. We highly recommend this tour. Martin and Elizabeth
We learned so much about the history and culture of Singapore, how Chinatown came into existence here in Singapore. Heng always stopped in shady spots for his explanations. He was eager to answer all our questions, and he gave full answers. I have toured Chinatown before, and Heng didn’t miss out a single spot. The tour was entertaining and at a very good pace for any age.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Angel from Monster Day Tour was an excellent tour guide! She did a fantastic job introducing Singapore’s history with a very informative and engaging commentary. I learned so much and truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!
It was a good experience. The guide was engaging, informative, warm and friendly. The weather was the only downside to it for the day but all was well.
We took a walking day tour of Singapore with monster. We had a fantastic guide, Hein, who was interesting and very knowledgeable. Great way to explore the city.
Ping was the most well-informed, clear, and friendly Singaporean tour guide ever! Would highly recommend to find her tours under Monster Day Tours.
We had a good 2-hour walking tour with our tour guide, Ping! Our group had 14 of us in total but she really managed us well, leaving none of us behind before she starts at a new spot. She was fantastic and really knowledgeable in the things she showed us during the tour. The weather had been great on our tour day, but I could see that Ping brought a couple umbrellas. She is well prepared! The speaker microphone she used during the tour worked well. I could hear her briefings and explanations loud and clear. The walking pace was not too fast but not too slow. It was just right. I learnt a lot during the walk, and I personally really enjoyed it. Singapore is a great city with many efforts carried out to care for the environment, the people, the plants and the animals. When I'm back in Singapore, I will definitely take on another tour with them. They seem to be really good at what they do.
Good tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and brought us to locations with beautiful views and good photo opportunities.
We just enjoy so much this tour. Lovely guide who is expressive, great fun, interesting, extremely friendly personality
I took the Chinatown tour with the guide Just. The tour was even better than I expected: we learned a lot about the history of Chinese immigrants, religion, traditions, urban development, food, mural paintings and statues, all told in a very interesting way with lots of personal anecdotes. A break in the food court included tips on which stands to visit for special dishes. It was very inspiring to continue exploring Chinatown on our own and see everything with new eyes. Thank you, Just!
Guide was informative and engaging. He brought up a lot of good points and gave a great history of the chinatown area. We loved the tour and will recommend!
This was by far the best walking tour we ever booked and we travel a lot. Ping was funny, informative, very open and welcoming, showed us the best locations and gave us that special local insight into Singapore. She covered everything from history, politics, economics, everyday life, eeeeverything you can think of, but in a brilliant, amusing and interesting way. I cannot recommend it enough! Plus, she takes photos of you and knows the good photo spots :D
The city tour is very informative that runs through Singapore history, culture and development. Would recommend to friends from overseas that intend to know more of Singapore through this half day walking tour.
