Hotter than hell. 90% humidity. The animals weren't doing anything but laying around. Felt so sorry for them in this heat. Wasn't worth the $100 price. The trails were poorly lit. Very disappointing.

This was a great experience and one of the highlights of my trip I would go back gain. Only wish I’d had more time there
Had no communication on the time to go or if the tour was actually part of a group or just self guided and the contact number provided was out of service. Ended up having to contact the zoo directly. So stressful
Great night tour, unfortnally it rained so was unable to do any of the walks.
Wasn’t sure what to expect and was really happy with the experience. We rode the tram and then walked the night trails you couldn’t see on the tram. I’m glad we did both. It was fun and different. Having a world class zoo at home, we went a lot with our children but never been to anything like this. It was different perspective of a zoo experience and that was fun.
Enjoyed, but we were very tired by the time we did this as had a big day before this. Tram ride was great, the show was great. Would have enjoyed more if we weren’t so tired.
The night safari was good, I remember it being better 15 yrs ago with more animals and being longer than just over 30mins. Unfortunately our booking was changed 3 times by the MAM Holidays Singapore with no regard to my families plans or the stress they were causing. I would not use them again at all
Sadly we had to go an hour and an half later than we originally booked so it was a bit rushed. I really wanted to see the white tiger which we did during the tram ride but it was after 11pm and so dark I could not get a photo as no flash camera allowed but glad to see. The show beforehand was good and the anomals looked well cared for
We were on a tram at sunset. We saw plenty of the animals We then did the pangolin walk. That was great. Saw many nocturnal animals. The zoo is huge and needs the whole day to explore. Add the night tour to the end of your day.
Our Night Safari experience was truly unforgettable! The tram ride queue management was smooth and the ride experience is engaging, and offered a fascinating glimpse into the nocturnal world, with clear commentary that brought each habitat to life. The walking trails were equally impressive—well-designed, immersive, and allowed us to get even closer to the animals in a calm and natural setting. What made the experience even more special was the dedication and friendliness of the staff with special mentioned for Ngel and Ogy who were always ready to guide, share insights, and ensure a safe and enjoyable visit. It was a perfect blend of adventure, education, and nature that we thoroughly enjoyed. An awesome attraction to visit when you are in Mandai and Singapore! :)
I should’ve gone with my gut feeling that told me not to ignore the over 20 bad reviews. I picked the 7:15pm slot and the site said it was confirmed but the small print read that if your time selected was not available that they would give you another time. The tour company did not contact us until 5:00 and then informed us that your time slot was not available. The tour company was slow to respond to my contact request and only responded via message from the TripAdvisor site. I was unsuccessful in contacting them via telephone call. The Night Safari was decent, recommend you book the tickets from the Night Safari site vice using a third party booking company.
The river boat tour was wonderful and relaxing. The light show at the botanical gardens was illuminating. The fountain show at the marina sands was good and the night time view of Singapore will stay with us for a long time!
Forget the tram unless your children do not like to walk. Very helpful staff. The walking experience was so much better than the tram ride.
The tour operator is a liar. We paid for an 8:15 times entry and he sent us the wrong tickets for 9:15 pm then we asked him in writing to confirm We can go earlier as that was too late. He confirmed several times and we have written proof of this. Then he lied more and was hostile and rude when he should have helped us we will never us Viator again be warned
Over commercialised and busy, a real rugby scrum. Far from the magical experience expected. Plus some of the animals where barely visible, fast asleep
I came by myself because “night safari” sounded fun. It was! It’s like Halloween zoo without jump scares. The three things to do are basically a show, walking through the zoo via trails, and the safari tram. I’d recommend the way I did it, which was arrive 7:15 pm in time for the 7:30 show, then skip the tram lines in favor for the trails, and finally after you’re all done and made it back to the front of the park go to the tram. By the time I was ready for the tram it was around 9:30 pm, and there was no line. The tram ride was pretty cool — you get to go among some free-roaming animals (not the carnivores) and feels really good after all the walking. On your way out, you will pass a food court. The food is really mediocre and expensive, but the location is really strategic, so I did stop for dinner. Finally at 10:30 I took the Khativ shuttle back to MRT. The tickets are not cheap, but as they keep reminding you that conservation is included in the cost I guess it’s good to be contributing to the cause. An interesting experience for sure!
I found the whole thing slightly average. Quite expensive. Very busy. Short tram ride around the zoo. Long way away from town. But perhaps those were things to be expected. The best thing was how close the animals seemed.
This company do not guarantee the time slot that you book. They don't let you know the time they book for you until the day of the event. I booked a 7.15pm slot for a Night Safari ticket on their website at the time of paying. When the tickets arrived, they were for 9.45pm. As the ticket is only sent the day of the event, you cannot cancel for a refund as it's within 24 hrs of the event. What a scam!!
Well worth going, great for families with young children.. animals are kept with so much care. Very easy to walk around the park an great night train tour
We really enjoyed walking the trails and seeing so many animals up close and active at night. I don’t need to write any more than I want to write.
Great experience as you get to see lots of different specials, reptiles, tigers you would not normally see. It’s better to walk first and then follow up with tram. Well set footpath.
The experience is unique and well worth it. The ticket gives access to the trams, trails, and show. Excellent tour!
Beautiful walking trails at night, lovely animals set in a natural habitat, and worth the commute out of Singapore. Highly recommend
It was great to see a number animals in their nocturnal environment, something you don't get to enjoy at other wild life parks. We thoughtfully enjoyed the experience and would do again
BOOKED 7:15 PM but received a 9:45 PM slot instead without prior notification. I was not made aware until our arrival at 7:15 PM with two children. No one answered the phone.
I felt it was over hipped. It was a 15-20 mins drive through & animals you already see during your day time visit. I am not sure how walking trails & shows are as we didn’t do that. In my opinion if you didn’t do this you didn’t miss much.
Great place to visit and certainly a different experience. Great variety of animals to see that are not in cages but in large enclosures which seem really close to you. Enjoyed walking the paths at own pace - you see a lot more than on the bus.
Entire safari lasted 25 minutes. Total waste of time. Spent plenty for the taxi as well as the tickets. Best to check out the zoo by yourself during the day.
Not enough time to take photos..stops not long enough. 😒 good that they contribute to conservation. Beautiful animals
Great tram ride and supporting animals was so much fun. Saw so many chilling in the night. The lion and elephants were so impressive! Watched the show at the auditorium too and that was fantastic. Great way to spend an eve in singapore for a couple like us or for a family or group of friends.
Unfortunately, it didn’t meet the expectations at all , the fact that I bought the tickets and was informed after making the payment that I wouldn’t receive my tickets till the day of the event was extremely stressful , this should have been mentioned before purchasing. This is not my first time going to the night safari park however, this is the first time that this has occurred . For me to have to follow up on my tickets was very stressful and consumed a lot of my vacation time . The tickets I paid for were for 7:15 pm . And I was given 9:15 pm slot . Which is extremely late and I had other plans and reservations. Trip advisor needs to look into this and not sell non refundable tickets and surprising customers with different timings and having to follow up on their tickets.
Being able to wonder and do it all was great as was the complete set up and use of the zoo. Highly recommend this experience.
Very crowded….only saw two animals…totally not worth it. Paths were dark and poorly marked. Had to take a taxi both ways and it turned out to be too far to be worth the trouble.
The worst part of this-was our appointment time was 7:15 originally-and we did not get notice that our tickets had been moved to 9:15-(no internet)- then we get there and tram wait was 90 minutes-we ended up walking through-it was a miserable night
They moved our time to 2 hours later at last minute. The line to get on the tram was over 2 hours! We walked it, but it was hard to see the animals. It’s very dark, no lightning and it’s so humid it’s slippery to walk. All in all we were very disappointed not worth the taxi ride and price
its a brill place to go t night the staff are super the whole set up is verry clever and well executed the only thing that i didnt like is when we went on the trailers arround the park to look at the annimals the driver diddnt stop at a point he was almost past it so i came away with not a lot of photos it was a nice place to go but i would not do it again
Unique experience, feels like roaming through the jungle and observing the animals in their natural environment
Trip was quite good. We enjoyed the train ride but the darker it became the harder it was to see the animals.
Easy to locate via MRT & shuttle bus. The zoo made for a good family evening on the tram and walking around.
The tram was really good and the show was amazing. Take water and bug spray. Wear cool clothing as was very warm
Please never purchase ticket with them , they are scammer. false promise of cheaper guarantee price, when you provide evidence they come up with excuse. WORST EVER EXPERIENCE Here is my communication with VIator/trip advisor Hi Rochelle You have charged me in USD $156.56 which will be SGD $211.25. But as per night safari website its on SGD $171. Here is the screenshot. So how can you be cheaper? Please keep your promise cheapest price guarantee & refund the difference back. thanks Krunal Shah
Terrible experience buying my tickets for night safari since the money got deducted and despite getting confirmation that my tickets are confirmed, I never received the E tickets from their 3rd party provider (named MAM). I tried calling them multiple times but still the E tickets never arrived.
Excellent a must do ..brilliant tour on the trolly bus Loads animals Easy to find Great night with friend
Easy to book, details on line were completely inaccurate, tour was supposed to be 3 hours, only 30 minutes, saw 5 different animals who appeared to be sedated. Very disappointing.
What a great night safari. Would highly recommend. We done the tram ride it was excellent I would highly recommend. It was amazing how close you are to the animals
The transportation by team was ok. Staff were definitely helpful. But the actual ride was a total disappointment. We expected to see a much broader selection of animals. They have only the basic. This tour is highly overrated.
Things to know - It’s 30 mins out of the city in a cab You need bug spray You need to follow a map in the dark on your phone In summary worth a look if you’ve plenty of time, yes we did get to see plenty of animals and the little bus through the park was good but trying to find your way around the park on foot at night was a little challenging and I’m sure we missed lots as we couldn’t see it!
Have you ever found yourself wondering if your memory is playing tricks. I have been to the Singapore night safari before and enjoyed it, but this time I found it to be boring. This time it was Not worth the money unless your favourite animal is the dear. They were everywhere. The audio commentary was to quiet and with the fellow visitors talking over it I found it to be a waste of time. Shame it wasn’t live as the commentator could have asked people to be quiet so that people could actually enjoy the information given. So much money has been spent on upgrading the park parking and access that I think a little could have been spent to upgrade to zoo. I did enjoy the gift shop and found lovely items to take home for the kids. Unfortunately the food on offer was not up to scratch. I ordered satay sticks and would question if it actually was chicken. The meet was very thin making me think the chicken was underweight from the portion I received. The highlight was the ice cream. In comparison to the Bali Night Safari, Bali wins.
It was a disappointment. We booked the 20.15 slot. We had to be there 45’ earlier 19:30). Until 20:00 even from the 19:15 slot were coming !!! We weren’t allowed to enter earlier than 20:00. Then we had to wait 50’ in order to get the tram for a 40’ fast ride. I would recommend to book the latest slot so you can avoid crowds and little children
It was just what we expected. Having been on real safaris it was simply ok. Wish the driver could stop for a brief moment at each area. Disappointing that the tour doesn’t provide for that.
