A great introduction to Malaysia. Well worth adding the extra option to visit Melaka. We visited all the key sites in KL which were very interesting. A shame about the haze due to crop burning in Indonesia. The trip also included a wonderful buffet breakfast and dinner. Our guide, Amien, was very knowledgeable, warm and courteous. He was very enthusiastic and looked after us extremely well, including completing all our immigration paperwork to enter Malaysia and return to Singapore. Driver Tony did a fabulous job driving us around as well as the long journey to KL and back again. All in all, it was a very smooth, professional and exceptional well organised day out. Highly recommended.

Itinerary
Begin with an early morning pickup at your Singapore hotel. Our trained driver will meet you at the hotel driveway to check your documents before escorting you through immigration via the Malaysia drive-through border (no standing-in-line). After clearing immigration, your English-speaking guide will settle you into the comfortable seats of your private, air-conditioned minivan to enjoy the 4-hour chauffeured drive to Malaysia's capital - Kuala Lumpur.
Along the way to Kuala Lumpur, your driver will make 2 stopovers. The 1st stopover will be at a Starbucks/Costa Coffee near Malacca, where western-style toilets are available (toilet paper available upon request). The 2nd stopover will be at a 5-star Marriott/Hilton Hotel, where guests can enjoy a premium western breakfast (or traditional Malay food upon request). IMPORTANT: Guests who booked the "Malacca side trip" option will be provided an extra UNESCO Melaka highlights tour (Dutch Square, A Famosa Fort, St. Paul's Hill & Church, Middelburg Bastion, UNESCO Wall Art, St. Francis Xavier Church, Jonker Street, 15-minute Trishaw Ride), before proceeding to Kuala Lumpur.
Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, one of the first stops will be Batu Caves. The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old. Batu Caves was founded by K. Thamboosamy Pillai, an Indian trader in 1891, as a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. A 42.7-metre high gold-painted statue of Lord Murugan was unveiled in January 2006, having taken 3 years to construct. It is the tallest Lord Murugan statue in the world. IMPORTANT: The order of sightseeing stops may be rearranged depending on actual Kuala Lumpur city traffic, crowd management, and weather conditions to optimize time usage.
Located near Batu Caves is the Sri Durgai Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga, often regarded as the most powerful female Hindu deity - often depicted with 8 or 10 hands. As a symbol of the triumph of good over evil, Goddess Durga is portrayed in mythology as a warrior who vanquishes the demonic powers that threaten the social order, economic well-being, and dharma. In this temple, Goddess Durga is represented as a stunning woman riding a lion, her numerous hands armed with weapons to vanquish evil spirits. In essence, Goddess Durga's multiplicity of arms embodies her role as an all-powerful and fiercely protective goddess.
30 minutes drive from Batu Caves is the famous National Monument, locally known as Tugu Negara. It is a historic bronze sculpture that pays tribute to those who died in combat during Malaysia’s battle for freedom against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency from 1948 till 1960. It serves as a remembrance of the bravery, courage and unity of the fighters who laid down their lives for Malaysia’s independence. The statue has earned its place in the book of records as the tallest freestanding group of bronze sculptures at 15-meter high.
10 minutes drive from the National Monument is the Central Market. The market was originally founded in 1888, refurbished into its current Art Deco style in 1937.
Located near the Central Market is Thean Hou Temple, which was completed in 1987. It is a six-tiered temple of the Goddess of the Sea (Mazu). You can also find the Goddess of Mercy (Guanyin) and Protector of the Sea (Shui Wei Niang Niang) here.
Next stop is the iconic the Putra Mosque. Famed for its pink-granite domes, the mosque was completed in 1999 and named after the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tungku Abdul Rahman Putra. Note: Guests who wish to enter the mosque may do so with mosque-issued modesty robes, provided it is not closed to the public (ie: outside Friday prayer times). Otherwise, guests may be respectfully requested to only take photos from the outside.
Located near Putra Mosque is the Malaysia Prime Minister's Office. It is located on a 50-metre high hill overlooking the city. The building is finished in natural stone with a green dome.
Located near Putra Mosque is the Palace of Justice, which houses the Federal Courts and Courts of Appeal. Relocated from Sultan Abdul Samad Building in 2003, the Palace Of Justice is also built with classical Islamic architecture.
40 minutes drive from Putra Mosque is the Istana Negara (National Palace). It is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. The palace complex has an area of 97.65 hectares, 22 domes, and is split into three main portions: the Formal Component, Royal Component and Administration Component.
10 minutes drive from the National Palace is the Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square). This is the historical place where the Union flag was lowered and the national flag was raised for the very first time at the struck of midnight of 31st August 1957.
From the Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of the Sultan Abdul Samad building, which is among Kuala Lumpur’s earliest Moorish-style buildings. It was built in 1897 and was named after the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time. The distinguished landmark originally served as the offices for the colonial British administration and the superior courts of Malaysia.
From the Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of the Royal Selangor Club. The club was founded in 1884 and originally served as a meeting place for high ranked and educated members of the British colonial society. Selangor is the name of the state in which the capital - Kuala Lumpur is located.
10 minutes drive from the Independence Square is South East Asia's highest revolving restaurant. Enjoy a sky dining buffet featuring traditional local Malay food and desserts with 360° views (4pm table reservation).
From the revolving restaurant, you will have a vantage view of the Merdeka 118 (Independence Tower). Topped with a massive 160-meter spire, the tower is still under construction. When completed in end 2026, it will be the world's second-tallest structure, surpassing the Tokyo Skytree at 634 meters.
Next stop is the KL (Television) Tower. Observation deck tickets are INCLUDED for you to admire the stunning skyline of Kuala Lumpur, at a height of over 900 feet.
Next stop is the base of Petronas Twin Towers, where you can take photos of the famous Petronas Mercedes-AMG F1 car replica at the gift shop. IMPORTANT: Guests who wish to upgrade their KL Tower observation deck tickets to Petronas Twin Towers skybridge, please upgrade* using the link on the booking confirmation voucher (recommended: at least 5 days before departure).
Finally, your guide will bring you to KLCC Park, where you can take iconic ground photos of the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers. IMPORTANT: Guests who wish to see the night view of the Petronas Twin Towers, please expect to leave Kuala Lumpur after sunset at 7:45pm and arrive in Singapore at 11:45pm onwards (subject to actual traffic conditions).
After completing all the sightseeing stops listed on the itinerary, you will head back south towards Singapore. You will again be escorted by our driver through immigration via the Malaysia drive-through border (no standing-in-line). Depending on traffic conditions and the actual departure time from Kuala Lumpur, you will arrive at Singapore 4-5 hours later where you will be provided with a free Singapore hotel dropoff.

This was the most brilliant day trip ever. Luxury travel and guided tour seeing the most incredible sights all in one day. Still processing the things we saw and experienced. Huge day as everyone states but so worth your time and cost. Border paperwork all done and seamless crossing. We are very grateful to have had Dashan as our guide who gave so much insight and information on Malaysian history and culture. Our driver was very skilled navigating the chaos of KL including crowded festivals and safe driving on the freeways. No way could i do the 18 hours of driving he did. At 5am you feel like you are being wisked away into the night straight through the border to collect your guide. Trust the process it is truly well organised. Stops all quick but time given to meet up and on your way again. Breakfast and Lunch/ Dinner was excellent and fun. Thanks to Dashan and Driver for a brilliant day i will never forget.
Shan was amazing! I was worried about a 17 hour tour but he did a great job keeping us moving without feeling rushed. We saw so much of Malaysia in a day and Shan had the history and the knowledge of so many things everywhere we went. We opted for both the Malacca visit and the upgrade for the Petronas Towers skybridge. Our driver G picked us up right on time at our hotel. The boarder crossing into Malaysia was very easy. There were plenty of food and toilet stops on the way. Breakfast and dinner were both great. Malacca was well worth it so I recommend opting into that. The sky bridge at the Petronas towers was also worth it in my opinion, especially if you’ve seen the movie Entrapment and want to visit the movie scene locations. Batu caves was awesome as well. If you want to squeeze in a tour of Malaysia on your visit to Singapore this was very much worth it for us and I’d highly recommend it. Thank you Shan and G for the great day!!!
You hit all the highlights including the colorful Batu Caves. Our guide, Iman, was friendly, well-liked and extremely knowledgeable. During the early start we learned about the Malaysian walking commuters, saw palm tree plantations and villages. Breakfast was at the Doubletree with a fantastic international buffet. We added the UNESCO site of Melaka which was interesting. That started our fabulous history tour. There was torrential rain which made us choose to skip a stop. There were several photo stops with the option to linger or head on. We spent a perfect amount of time at the Batu Caves and concluded at the KL Tower. Everyone was happy to see Iman wherever we went.
I would highly recommend this trip to Malaysia. My guides Aiman and Ahjie were friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience worth it, showing me parts of Kuala Lumpur I did not know. 10 out of 10! Solo travelers please consider this experience. You will not regret it.
It was a great experience allowing us to see another city / country with the limited time we had in Singapore
This tour far exceeded my expectations. The tour guide was excellent. The driver was equally great. We covered a lot of sights in one day. I would take this tour again if the opportunity presented itself.
This was an excellent tour and a fantastic way to experience the highlights of Malaysia in a single day. A special thank you to Iman, our tour guide, and Ajiah, our driver, who were both outstanding from start to finish. With a very early 5:00 am pickup from Singapore, the day ran smoothly and was extremely well organised. One thing future guests may find useful to know is that the border crossing is handled first with the driver, and the tour guide joins the group after entering Malaysia. The process was seamless, with our passports remaining with us throughout and all border paperwork arranged in advance. The dedicated drive-through lane made the crossing quick and stress-free. Once Iman joined us, he kept the group informed for the entire day. He provided updates on upcoming destinations, showed photos and points of interest on his iPad, advised travel times between stops, and ensured everyone knew exactly where to meet and when to return. His knowledge of Malaysia's history, culture, and landmarks was excellent, and his explanations at each location added great value to the experience. Iman also went above and beyond by helping guests take photos from the best vantage points and ensuring everyone had the opportunity to capture memorable moments at each destination. The itinerary is ambitious and certainly makes for a full day, but if you want to see as much of Malaysia as possible in one trip, this tour delivers. We visited Malacca, Batu Caves, Thean Hou Temple, the National Monument, Independence Square, Putra Mosque, Central Market, and enjoyed views of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. There was so much variety, from historical sites and cultural attractions to modern architecture. Lunch at the Orbit Revolving Restaurant was another highlight. The food was very good, the views were spectacular, and the dessert selection was excellent. We chose to head back around 4:30 pm rather than stay for the evening light show, as it had already been a long day and we had seen everything we wanted to see. Even without waiting for the evening lights, we felt we had experienced an incredible amount and received excellent value from the tour. Overall, this was a very well-organised tour with a knowledgeable guide, a skilled driver, great communication, and an itinerary that showcases the very best of Malaysia in a single day. Very well done, Iman and Ajiah. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Kuala Lumpur and Malacca in one comprehensive tour
We were a family of seven. Three children from 8-13, two grandparents over 70. Everyone loved this tour. We did the Melaka option too. It may be expensive relatively but a highly efficient way to pack a day trip to see lots of sights and country in a day. Weighed doing it ourselves and renting or flying to KL but great to have a competent team taking care of all the logistics. Pick up was smooth and our driver got us everywhere in a speedy manner to see all venues and return back on time. Our guide Sean was great and showed us lots in the three cities. Meals were great, both buffets, and plenty of stops for all different bladders. Kids loved the monkeys at the cave. For most, our favorite tour of our three week trip in Asia and we did four.
I read all the reviews so I knew it was a long day, and it was. BUT it was totally worth it! The ride out was broken up with a few stops and on the ride back we reclined our seats and took a nap Our driver was Vicky and your guide was Sean. And they were both fabulous! Was so nice to be dropped up front of each place and picked up. Sean gave us so many facts about Malaysia and each place we stopped. Went on a Wednesday so we were able to stop at all planned locations. Paid for the Patronas towers add on and enjoyed the views! Would highly recommend
Shawn was an awesome guide. Informative and patient. Vicky was an excellent driver and she made sure all of our paperwork was in order to cross the border. Great way to see Malaysia in a day. Highly recommend.
It was a long day, lots of driving, but it was the only way to see all those sites and cover as much ground as we did in one day from Singapore. Our driver was prompt and courteous, our guide Shan was very kind, knowledgeable, patient, and knew all the best places to take photos of us. Even with the unexpected rain in the morning, they were prepared with a couple umbrellas for us to use. We have zero complaints at all— we greatly enjoyed our day seeing all the listed sights, the ride was comfortable with great air conditioning and a wi-fi hotspot for us to use, and they were very receptive to when we needed to stop for drinks, snacks, or restroom breaks, and the breakfast and dinners were wonderful and had local options as well as Western options. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with limited time who wants to see as much as possible and experience a great taste of Malaysia and its culture and history!
This was a wonderful experience and I truly recommend it. Our guide did our best to accommodate all our requests of personalization and the day was full but very pleasant! It is worth every hour!
This was a great way to see the highlights of Malaysia from Singapore in a day and learn about the country’s history and culture. The tour guide Iman was fantastic and our kids, ages 13 & 16, had a great time and learned a lot about Malaysia. The Batu Caves were our favorite part, but everything was so unique and worth seeing. So glad we did it!
Shan (tour guide) and Vicky (driver) were excellent! They knew how to maneuver the traffic and maximize time to ensure we saw all the attractions that were scheduled and we had enough time to shop, eat, and take pictures. This is a great tour to take from Singapore if you have only limited time. The van seats were luxurious, the on board WiFi was great too! Definitely enjoyed seeing the countryside. Great tour of Melaka and Kuala Lumpur.
I had qualms about being a solo female traveler; however, Iman, the tour guide & miss Vicky, the female driver made me feel safe. Iman was a knowledgeable guide & an excellent photographer. Vicky was an excellent driver who fearlessly navigated the traffic in Malaysia. The tour operator & miss Vicky provided an excellent service when I left a couple of items in the van. They’ve encountered hiccups trying to deliver my items back to me at the hotel. I finally received my missing items back & I’m very grateful to them for their patience. I would definitely recommend them & this tour operator to my friends & family.
This was an epic morning/day/night trip full of history, modern marvels, cultural sites, and great conversation along the way. Iman was a thoughtful and informative guide, and went out of his way to make each stop interesting. He took a LOT of pictures too. our driver Vicky was also a total trooper, moving us swiftly and safely to each location. The comfy van with aircon made each stop even better, as we could cool down along the way. As for sites, the Melaka side-trip was incredibly worth it as an example of Asian culture influenced by Dutch, Portuguese, and British imperialism. It was a perfect balance of old-world charm and modern tourism. Putrajaya was not on my radar prior to the tour, and it's truly a city of the future. Clean, perfectly laid out, and ready for the ongoing expansion of KL. Batu Caves is a must-do even if you are not religious - the statue and caves were wondrous. Mounting 272 stairs in the heat, while dodging ravenous monkeys, felt like a victory! KL itself was a bustling city, and the Petronas Towers do not disappoint. They are technically "old" now, but still have a futuristic feel, and the stories of how they were built are impressive. This tour is highly recommended as a way to see multiple aspects of Malaysia in a single day.
Shawn and Chris were fantastic! Batu Caves where our faves! Would definitely recommend this excursion.
Shan was our Guide and Vicky was our Driver. BOTH Vicky- an Amazing and Safe Driver! #1 Best in the Country! She also had a Beautiful and clean comfortable vehicle. And, Shan was an Amazing and knowledgeable Guide. With many cultural notes and references to make the Tour Amazing!!! It was an absolutely wonderful experience that I would’ve missed if we hadn’t committed to doing it. I/we were all very pleased with how the entire tour went. Just so memorable and such Amazing pair of guides. Thank you so much Shan & Vicky! For all you did for us!!
Awesome experience. I was a single woman traveling alone that wouldn’t have normally gone to Malaysia for a day. This tour was awesome. Learned loads. Highly recommend.
Great excursion! Saw a lots of interesting attractions and the guide (Iaman) and driver (Chris) were wonderful. Iaman shared a lot of information about history and sights we visited. TQhe ride to Kuala Lumpur was okay as we had several stops along the way. The ride back was extremely long (4.5 hours) as it was a straight shot back to Singapore. The boarder crossing was always busy.
A long day but very interesting. Definitely worth it if you have time. The guide was very helpful and informative.
Prepare yourself for a very long day and a lot of walking in hot humid weather. But having said that the sights we saw more than made up for it. The breakfast and the dinner in the KL Tower was plentiful and delicious. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. On our trip we upgraded for the Petronus Tower visit - we'll worth it. Collection to and from our hotel was included.
Very interesting and informative trip. Very well organized with the right point of interest and the sufficient time for each. Not too slow, not too fast. The guide and the driver (Shan and Shawn) extremely professional, provided all the necessary information, answering to all our questions. The car impeccable, clean and comfortable. It was a very pleasant experience overall.
Very long day but definitely worth it. Guide Aiman and driver were excellent. Aiman very knowledgable and friendly and made the tour interesting and very enjoyable. Would advise to upgrade to go up the Petronas Towers, views worth it. Kuala Lumpar tower views were good and the food was excellent. A day trip to remember
We were picked up from our hotel in Singapore 5am. My husband was kept informed by our guide frequently prior to our trip. Our driver was excellent. We picked our guide up after going through the border. We stopped off for breakfast. Then it was a full day stopping off at various buildings of interest and religious buildings, the guide was very informative. It was a very hot day. We had lunch in revolving restaurant which was very nice. Our last stop was going into The Petronas Twin Towers what a fantastic experience. It was a long day but throughly enjoyable. I wish I could remember our guide & drivers name. They were both very professional and friendly.
Reliable. driver on time, pleasant and satisfying. The guide is courteous , knowledgeable we gained more historical, cultural and current information about Malaysia. concern about our safety. Very satisfied to both of them.
This is a great experience! Aimen was the best guide and Vicki was the best driver. We walked out from our hotel lobby at 5am and Vicki was waiting for us! She is a wonderful driver who navigated us to the boarder where we picked up Aimen. From there we drove to all of our highlights. It was a comfortable ride! We brought our neck pillow and reclined our seats to take a nap! At each spot Aimen would show us what our destination would be and walked us all around. He is knowledgeable, kind, funny, and helped with taking great photos of us to remember each place. The entire day is seamless. We drive up to our destination, get out and walk around, learn a bit of the history and get some pictures. Vicki waits for us and then pulls right up and we hop back in. It’s like VIP service, especially in the heat! If you are thinking about adding another country to your list, book this experience! You will love it! It was worth it. It is a full day from 5am until about 10:30-11:00pm depending on traffic. Aimen and Vicki do a wonderful job with keeping you on track. We felt safe the entire time. The views are amazing. 10/10 experience.
It is a long day but it is top notch and you can see so much about the southern part of Malaysia. Great feel for how people live, work, culture, food etc.
A lovely day, very well spent. We were picked up right on time, and the car was clean and comfortable. The driver was excellent, and both he and the tour guide took great care of us throughout the day. Our tour guide Shawn (I hope I am writing it correctly) was very sweet and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We managed to do and see so much in a short amount of time without ever feeling rushed.
Our guide, Aiman , was fantastic! His deep knowledge of history Malaysia combined with his warm personality made the tour memorable. He was super organized, handling my itinerary perfectly, and even helped arrange border paperwork’s . I especially appreciated how he gave me a birthday cake as surprised at the end . Highly recommend!!!! Kris the driver was very punctual and organized! He showed up early time to be sure the journey will be on time ! Highly recommended as well
Exhilarating! We are an American family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) had a wonderful and productive day visit to Kuala Lumpur! Our driver Krish and guide Aman were outstanding: professional, safe, courteous, engaging, patient, interesting. We loved experiencing the highlights of KL and southern Malaysia. We will have happy memories of the day forever!
We had a fantastic day with Aiman (tour guide) and Vicky (the driver). Aiman was extremely knowledgable, fun and informative. He showed us the key sights in Kuala Lumpur and made a few tweaks for us so we could get the most out of our time in KL. Vicky was a safe driver and very knowledgable on the roads to, in and from KL. I’d highly recommend this tour.
An extremely long but enjoyable day. Iman was very knowledgeable, and pleasant. Our driver was great. He got us everywhere fast and safely. Instead of an early dinner, as advertised, they took us to lunch. Food was fabulous but it made a long afternoon and evening without food. We didn’t want to stop again as it was a long haul back to Singapore. Began at 5am and ended at 10:45pm It was still worth it.
I really liked everything, perfectly organized, top level, safe transportation, excellent cultural guide. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to travel from Singapore to Malaysia for a short period of time.
It was an amazing day at Malaysia, we enjoyed all the places and the young tour guide and driver performed an amazing service. Thanks team great job.
Great tour with all the major sights, our guide Aiman and the driver were the ideal accompagning team to make this intense visit a sucess.
The private tour was great. Iman and Vicky took care of us all day long. They made the whole experience worry free. They showed us all of the listed attractions and made the whole experience so much more efficient than a group tour. If you are short on time and want to travel in comfort, this is the way to go.
I had limited time in Singapore but wanted to see Kuala Lumpur and found this day trip. It exceeded expectations! There were multiple stops with fantastic sites and the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. He explained a lot of the history of all the cities and important sites and was an excellent photographer (taught me a few iPhone tricks for pics!). This well exceeded expectations and was a wonderful taste of Malaysia.
Excellent tour. Well run worth every penny. Would highly recommend. Gives you a good window into Malaysia and it’s beauty.
A wonderful day spent exploring Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding area. Our guide and driver were excellent and all of the things that we saw and did make this long day well worth it! We are inspired to return to Malaysia!
Unbelievable day. We saw so much of Malaysia from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. So many fantastic sites. We saw so much. It is a long day but well worth it.
This was an awesome day for me and my husband! Our Guide, Aiman, was an awesome young man who lived out excellent Customer Servce and sharing cool histories and facts in all the places we visited on this tour! It's a must do, even though it is a long day, but all worthwhile!!
This was an outstanding and well organized tour. All of the stops on the itinerary were well worth it and we traveled with ease. Border crossing was expertly coordinated and no issues at all. The highlight of the tour were Melaka (Malacca) and the Batu Caves. Both were places I didn’t even knew existed and was blown away by the charm and colors of both of these places. On top of the amazing experiences, the guide and driver were amazing. If you are looking for a way to see a bit of Malaysia in a short period of time, this tour is your best bet.
Be prepared to commit about 19-20 hours to this day tour! Our driver picked us up at 4:45am (scheduled at 5am pickup, but he was prompt and early). The morning border crossing at Woodlands was smooth and took less than 15 minutes to get through. We picked up our guide after the Malaysia crossing, then made our way to Malacca for breakfast and then started our walking tour nearby. Next was a drive over to Putrajaya to visit the pink Mosque-though when we arrived they wouldn’t let us in because they were preparing for prayer. We were bummed because that was something we were looking forward to seeing inside. Our journey continued with a 2 hour drive to Kuala Lumpur…we stopped along the way for a toilet break at a gas station….Ladies (Americans especially) be prepared—some of the toilets in Malaysia are holes in the ground, so if you aren’t keen on that…make sure you ask your guide first. My mom had a difficult time with it and it’s something that she’ll never forget. Also, bring hand sanitizer and pocket tissues, as toilet paper isn’t always supplied in WC. Kuala Lumpur is crazy busy, it seems dirty and cars just pile up on the road without any regard to actual lanes-so if you get car sick and/or get anxiety with fast and chaotic driving, this isn’t the tour for you. Finally, Batu Caves…the steps are steep (but doable), there are wild macaque monkeys everywhere so keep valuables and food secure! I saw a couple of tourists get their juice boxes and food snatched right out of their hands while walking up the steps. I also didn’t notice any toilets here, but I imagine they wouldn’t be the cleanest considering how crowded and dirty the place is, just FYI. Also, we did our trip on a Friday…do yourself a favor and don’t do that. Friday has the worst traffic according to locals and heading back to Singapore was a complete traffic nightmare. We literally were in traffic for several HOURS! We did not get back to our hotel until 12:00am Midnight!! Now, the traffic and toilet situation were just unfortunate circumstances. And were in no way things that could be avoided. Our driver Chris was excellent. He drives a little fast, but he is safe and got us everywhere as quickly as he could, and the vehicle was comfortable. Shaun was our guide and he’s only been running these tours for 2 weeks, but he did a great job under the conditions. He taught us a lot, had an iPad with images that he could explain things prior to us visiting a place or monument. He had water for us, even paid for toilets when we had to go randomly. Overall I’m happy we did the tour, but for those of you on the fence about booking-I hope my disclosures will help you make the right choice.
Everything was smooth, definitely worth sacrificing one day in Singapore to see Malaysia in one day. We've seen quite a lot during the day, strongly recommend it.
Long day that hits many highlights. Very well organized and professional. We both thought it was one of the best tours we’ve done.
Driver was waiting for us just ahead of the time advised. Driver took us through Malaysia immigration seamlessly and we then picked up the tour guide. There were so many positives about the trip. Went to Malacca first and this was very interesting. We then had a lovely breakfast in the Hilton. We then went on to Putrajaya before heading to Kuala Lumpur. The roads were gridlocked with traffic and we missed a number of the sights. We didn’t go to the KLCC Park, but did get photos of the Petronas Towers from the roadside. The company really should have advised us that our tour was booked during a school holiday and the weekend traffic was beyond that expected. We had to get out and walk to Batu Caves as the cars were not moving. The traffic sadly caused us a lot of delays and missed opportunities. The guide did mention that weekend traffic can be bad, so please try and go on a weekday and research public holidays in Malaysia before booking. We had a lovely buffet lunch at the KL 360 Tower before we started to head back to Singapore. We left at 5pm and got back to our hotel after 1am. An 8 hour car journey 😩. Our poor driver was with us all day and had to drive back to Malaysia after dropping us off. He must have done a 24 hour day. We dropped the guide back off at his house on the way back to Singapore. The driver once again dealt with immigration and the queues were very long. I would 100% recommend this trip and would go again but with hindsight I would have gone on a weekday so I could have enjoyed all the sights. Driver Kreesh is a legend and our guide I thought he said Simon (but could be wrong) was lovely.
We were picked up on time from our hotel in a roomy and comfortable air conditioned car by our Malaysian driver. We had an easy trip across to Johor Bahru to pick up our English speaking guide. We made our way to Malacca and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at the Hilton before taking a 1.5 hour walk around some UNESCO malacca sites. We had a 15 minute Trishaw ride in a fun Pokémon themed trishaw. We then went to Kuala Lumpur and saw some awesome sites such as Batu Caves, Sri Durgai Hindu Temple and lots of monkeys. We then saw Thean Hou Temple, Putra Mosque with its amazing pink granite domes, national monument, kings palace- where we witnessed the changing of the guards- Petronius twin towers, palace of justice, prime minister’s office, Merdeka Square, KL Tower and then we had an early dinner at the 360 degree revolving restaurant before our drive back to Singapore. Smooth process through the border crossings both ways. Our guide Iman was awesome. He treated us like VIPs all day, was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. He knew all the ways to avoid traffic jams and made our day run so smoothly. We saw so much and had so much fun. I would recommend this adventure to anyone with a day to spare during their Singapore trip. It is a long day, 5am pick up and 9pm drop off, but worth the time.
An absolutely wonderful day trip! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore KL with limited time. We were vacationing in Singapore for a few days, and we did this day trip to get a glimpse of Malaysia. Aiman was a wonderful tour guide and Kreesh was a great driver.
