One of the best ways to discover Singapore is with Quek! If you are visiting Singapore, we cannot recommend Quek highly enough. We had the pleasure of enjoying an exceptional tour with him, not only because of everything he showed us, but above all because of the knowledge, passion and dedication with which he shared the history, culture, architecture and traditions of his city. We explored three of Singapore’s most fascinating cultural neighbourhoods: Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam. Each one offered us a different perspective on the city’s rich history, traditions and multicultural identity. Quek brought every place to life through his explanations, stories and personal insights. He also introduced us to some local delights, treating us to a delicious coffee and a traditional Kaya Toast, a wonderful local breakfast made with coconut jam and butter. A little culinary experience we absolutely loved! What particularly impressed us was his generosity and commitment. It rained for around 30 minutes during our tour, but Quek had no hesitation in extending our allocated time so that we could enjoy the complete experience without missing anything. This says so much about his professionalism and, above all, his genuine dedication to the people he guides. It was not simply a sightseeing tour; it was an educational, enriching and truly authentic experience. Discovering a city through the eyes of someone who was born and lives there, who knows its history and culture, and who genuinely loves sharing it with others, makes all the difference. You can clearly see that Quek loves what he does. His enthusiasm, professionalism and attention to detail make you feel that he genuinely wants every visitor to take home wonderful memories of Singapore. If you are planning a visit to Singapore, don’t hesitate to book a tour with Quek. We can wholeheartedly recommend him. Thank you, Quek, for your kindness, generosity and for sharing your city with us. We arrived as visitors and left with a much deeper appreciation of Singapore and its people. An experience we will remember with great affection!

Sebastian did an incredible job showing all of the incredible temples, shops, and areas in Chinatown and Little India in Singapore. He has incredible knowledge and insight that he shared with us. Such a great tour. Highly recommend it!
Sebastian was a well informed guide and made sure every minute of the tour was counted! He was patient, yet ensured the time and money was well spent.
A fabulous walking tour with MK as our very knowledgeable guide. Very informative about the history, cultures and continuing development of Singapore. MK really went the extra mile providing extra info and taking photos of us at key sites to document the tour. I would highly recommend this tour & MK for anyone who wants to learn about Singapore and its cultures. Thanks MK!
I took the 4 hour walking tour of Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam, Arab Street, and Haji Lane with Quek as my guide. The tour was interesting and informative. Quek took care of me, was knowledgeable and informative. We had good discussions about the culture and history of the development of Singapore and how it functions today. I am so glad I booked this tour!!
Excellent guide Shangiv all well explained
Sebastian was amazing! First he adjusted the tour to avoid a complete pour down and even though I had lived in Singapore for 2 years in the 90’s I saw places and learned things I had not known before. He was fantastic.
Sanjib was the best tour guide in singapore. He was was very knowledgeable and answered all questions about Singapore history. Sanjid gave enough time at every spot for great pictures and even took group pictures and sent them to everyone. Sanjid was generous and took us all to a street market for a refreshing drink of our choice. Thanks Sanjid for being an amazing tour guide
Quek was an excellent guide very knowledgable professional and fun. It was excellent to see the cultural and historical side of Singapore and have it explained to you in such good detail. I would certainly recommend this to it to my friends. Lynn Michael and Rosalyn Hunt.
We thoroughly enjoyed this four-hour walking tour of Chinatown, Little India and Arab Street. A wonderful way to explore Singapore and gain a deeper understanding of its rich history, diverse cultures and the communities that make it so special. Our guide, MK, was outstanding. So knowledgeable about the history, culture and traditions of each neighbourhood, MK brought the places we visited to life with engaging explanations and fascinating insights. Having that knowledge shared with us added so much to the experience. MK’s enthusiasm made the tour both informative and a real pleasure. We came away with a much greater appreciation of Singapore and its remarkable cultural heritage. Excellent value for money and thoroughly recommended. Thank you, MK, for such an enjoyable and memorable experience. A very well-deserved five stars!
Our four-hour tour with Jolynn was truly excellent from start to finish. It was a feast for our senses! Jolynn’s historical knowledge and lived experience in Singapore provided such a helpful framework for all of the neighborhoods and landmarks we experienced. Jolynn was attentive to our needs and interests throughout the tour. Highly recommend this tour and guide!
We had a wonderful tour today. Our tour guide Jolynn was exceptional! Even before the tour she reached out to offer assistance as to where to meet and advised my travel party on how to arrive via our transportation of choice. She was mindful of the comfort needs of the group the entire time. She was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to be sure we were all safely on our way after the tour. You could not have a better guide if you are lucky enough to have Jolynn. Definitely recommend this tour and especially our guide Jolynn!
We had a wonderful day with Sebastian. He was very knowledgeable and knew all the little extra places to visit most people dont see. A fabulous guide and great communicator.
Our wonderful guide was excellent, extremely informative, kind and fun. He gave us a great tour of the communities and history of the people, religions, and areas of Singapore we loved seeing. We highly recommend him and his tours!
Hello! We were with Mr Sanjiv, we really appreciated staying with him and how fun ti was. We are thankful for everything!
Sanjiv was a great guide! He’s so knowledgeable and if he doesn’t know the answer to a question he will find out! It was a good tour and I recommend it. I would never go into the temples by myself so it helped to have someone escort me and explain what I was seeing. It was a memorable tour!
Great and very informative. Extremely expensive if you travel alone, as price for 1 or 2 persons almost the same, in a group tour ( is not private)
Excellent tour. Learned so much about the history of Singapore. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we understood and provided for our safety
Had a Wonderful time on this tour. Our guide Joanne was so informative and we hit so many different areas. It was a nice mixture of everything to make you get a feel of all the different cultures and learn a lot about Singapore that was surprising and interesting to learn. She gave us a little of everything. Well worth booking this tour !
Joanne , exceptional person and guide . Very professional and passionate of her work and Country .. well recommend her 100% . Thank you Joanne , great job !
We had a great day with Sanjiv. He has a fantastic knowledge of the history of Singapore and was able to keep the group engaged. Sanjiv is a very thoughtful guide.
MK was a fabulous tour guide. He was interesting and insightful as he related the history of Singapore and the many cultures that make up the country. We had a large group and he kept us engaged. We would highly recommend him to friends. Despite the heat and humidity he had ample breaks for drinks and cooler air. I have to also say Robert (the owner) was very accommodating as we added people to our tour. He made sure we would be grouped together and his preview packet was very helpful in preparing us for the ins and outs of Singapore culture. We also appreciated all the group photo memories.
What an incredible experience! This walking tour through Chinatown, Little India and Arab Street was one of the highlights of our time in Singapore. Our guide, MK, was outstanding. He was knowledge and passionate bringing Singapore's past, present and future to life in his stories. We learnt so much about the country's fascinating history, its diverse cultural influences, economic development and future vision. MK took photos of us throughout the tour and answered every question we had. MK made the tour engaging from start to finish & we are so thankful that we booked this tour as it was meaningful. There were plenty of rest stops, opportunities to refill with water, and stops along the way to try the delicious local cuisine. It never felt rushed, making it enjoyable even in Singapore's warm climate. The three neighbourhoods each had their own unique character. Walking from Chinatown to Little India and then Arab Street genuinely felt like stepping into three different countries. The rich cultures, incredible aromas, vibrant colours, beautiful architecture and lively sounds created an unforgettable sensory experience. Every street had a story. If you want to gain a deeper understanding of Singapore beyond the usual tourist attractions, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommended, and a big thank you to MK for making it such a memorable day.
We had an absolutely wonderful tour with our guide Quek! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and shared so many interesting facts about Singapore, its history, the development and the different cultures behind its neighborhoods. We started in Chinatown, where he explained and showed us so many fascinating places, including historical buildings and even locations where celebrities went to! We also enjoyed a traditional Singaporean breakfast with delicious kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs, and tea with milk – a great way to experience the local culture! Afterwards, we took the MRT to Little India, where we explored the colorful streets, before continuing by bus to Kampong Glam and its beautiful Sultan Mosque. As a lovely surprise, Marcel even gave us two small souvenirs as farewell gifts! He also took us to the famous “Batman Building,” where we could admire the impressive architecture and take a look at the beautiful bar. Afterwards, he kindly made sure we got safely to the MRT station for our journey back. Quek really went above and beyond to make this tour special. It was a perfect combination of history, culture, local experiences, and sightseeing. We learned so much and had a fantastic time! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Singapore – especially with Marcel as your guide!
My tour with Joanne turned out to be one of the highlights of my time in Singapore. Although I've been living in Singapore for a while, I had never properly explored many of its historic neighbourhoods and landmarks. Booking this tour was absolutely the right decision. Joanne is incredibly knowledgeable and brought Singapore's fascinating history to life through engaging stories and insights. She not only showed us the iconic sights but also explained their cultural and historical significance in a way that made them truly memorable. She came well-prepared with additional materials which helped enrich the experience; and followed up afterward with recommendations tailored specifically to my personal interests, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. If you're looking for a guide who is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Singapore, I would highly recommend this tour to both first-time visitors and long-term residents. I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
This was a great tour of the three highlighted districts in Singapore. Our guide Sanjiv, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and also deeply passionate about Singapore and its heritage and genuinely enjoys sharing this with visitors. This evening we were the only ones on the group tour, so benefited greatly from the personal attention we got. I highly recommend this tour, and suggest requesting Sanjiv as your guide. You will not regret it.
Thank you,Sanjiv, for an excellent tour full of history and interesting facts! I trully enjoyed our 4 hours walk throught China Town, Little India and Arab street. A special thank you for mango drink - highly recomnended 😋 I also really appriciate how meticulous and attentive you were to every detail: safety reminders, guidance on metro behavior, providing tissues & hand sanitizer, helping us take photo and contacting several times in advance 👍👍 It was very thoughtfull and made experience even better! 🤝 Thank you againe! 🎉
Our walking tour with Jolyn was everything we hoped for and more. JoLyn, a Singapore native, knows so.much about her country. She shared anecdotes about growing up in the City. She also gave us an interesting and important history of Singapore, covering the early days through WWII until the present. She let us know how housing works in Singapore, and she taught us how to use both the train and the bus. JoLyn was alert to the needs and wants of the group, giving us time for pictures and brief stays inside air conditioned spaces to escape briefly from the Singapore heat. JoLyn was even kind enough to walk us to our next destination at the end of the tour. It was a great experience.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide in Singapore! From the very beginning, Jolynn was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Singapore with us. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience, showing us not only the famous landmarks but also sharing interesting insights and local hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. She shared a bunch of personal experiences growing up in Chinatown. The tour was perfectly organized, enjoyable, and tailored to our interests. Jolynn’s warm personality, attention to detail, and willingness to answer all our questions made the entire experience feel personal and special. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Singapore. She truly made our trip more meaningful and unforgettable. If you’re looking for an exceptional guide who combines knowledge, professionalism, and genuine hospitality, look no further!every part of our excursion was e planned in great details and it was just amazing.
I believe our guides name was Jolene and she was excellant. When we first joined the tour I wasn't feeling well, and she found me a place to sit. I felt better after that and was able to continue the tour. She checked on me sevetal times to make sure I was ok. She told us some of her memories of growing up in chinatown. I think that was a highlight! It was an interesting tour. The four hours went quickly.
Was a really lovely tour. The price is a little steep considering it is a walking tour and there is no pick up option. However, it is a great way to explore Singapore. The best part was the guide, Jolynn, she was very knowledgeable and professional but also kind and caring
We had a most interesting and informative walking tour with MK. MK generously shared his considerable knowledge of historic and contemporary Singapore and in just 4 hours we experienced three distinct areas of Singapore. It was a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend MK as a guide.
Our guide, MK, was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, courteous, and he made the tour fun. The four hours helped us really understand the history and culture of Singapore.
Had the most amazing day with Quek as he took us on a tour of China Town, Little India and Kampong Glam. He pointed out places to go back and visit and gave a really good history lesson of Singapore! He also pointed out great places to eat. He was very engaging and made the walking tour very interesting. Would definitely recommend this to everyone visiting Singapore.
Highly recommend this tour and Chris Lim, our tour guide, he provided a lot of local knowledge and history in an easily digestible format!
Sanjiv was a friendly and knowledgeable guide . He showed us so many interesting places and provided us with lots of history and local colour
Gene was an excellent guide showing us the highlights of Singapore during this walking tour. We learned about Singapore’s history, geography, food, and many more topics during our walk. Gene was very professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Highly recommended, specially if it is your first visit to Singapore.
Fantastic tour by Guide, Chris! A highlight of the trip and highly recommend!
Sebastian was a great guide , very knowledgeable and kind. It was a great walking tour , we got to experience the culture , history and great food. Thank you Sebastian for making our trip a memorable one.
A very good experience during 4 hours, a very professional guide, deeply passioned by the history. Some good advises about food, places, souvenirs and so on. From both of us, thank you to our guide Mr Quek for that wonderful tour.
It was a very informative excursion and I learned a lot that I may not have learned if I tried to do the excursion on my own. We were a small group of 3 tourists which I thought was an excellent tour guide:tourist ratio. Despite the heat and the length of the tour, CK found all the right places for us to take a break from the heat.
Walking tour was great! Joanne was friendly and very informative. She gave us a real view of Singapore and we got to experience the culture whether it was trying curry chicken puff at a hawker center or some refreshing OJ when we needed a quick pick me up from the heat. She made sure we got some terrific pictures and even gave us some recommendations of things to try on our next visit. You will definitely learn a lot more of this beautiful country than what you knew before you came. Thanks Joanne!
Sanjiv was a great guide. Very enthusiastic and so kind.
I’ve been to Singapore several times but never really explored the old districts. Loved this tour and learnt many new things. CK the tour guide goes over and above to show you the real Singapore. Great stories. Recommend this tour highly.
We had a fantastic time with Chris Lim on our walking Tour. Chris had great knowledge of history along with stories of his family and growing up in Singapore. The pace was good for the 4 of us as it was rather warm. The Temples were amazing and we got to grab a souvenir along the way. I would certainly recommend this tour and Chris
We did the 4-hour Chinatown, Little India and Arab Street Walking Tour with Jolynn, and it was honestly one of the best tours we did during our time in Singapore. Jolynn was fantastic. She had so much local knowledge and made the whole tour incredibly interesting and informative. Rather than simply pointing out the sights, she explained the history, culture and everyday life behind the different areas, which gave us a much better understanding of Singapore. What made the tour particularly special was Jolynn sharing some of her own personal stories and experiences of growing up in the area. That added something you simply can’t get from a guidebook and made the tour feel much more personal and authentic. She was friendly, helpful and very easy to talk to, and the four hours seemed to fly by. We came away having learned so much. We would absolutely recommend this tour, and especially Jolynn, to anyone visiting Singapore. A genuine highlight of our trip and an easy five stars from us.
Chris Lim was absolutely outstanding—passionate, informative, and incredibly knowledgeable about Singapore’s history and culture. He shared fascinating stories and insights along the way, making the tour engaging from start to finish. We were truly immersed in Singapore’s culture and gained a much deeper understanding of the historical background and how it has shaped Singapore into the country it is today. You do walk for the full four hours, but there are regular opportunities to take a break, sit down, and use the bathroom, which was appreciated. Chris went above and beyond at the end of the tour, helping us arrange a taxi and making sure we arrived safely back at our hotel. Such a thoughtful gesture! Well worth doing and highly recommended! 🇸🇬
Wonderful tour! Learned so much about the history and culture of Singapore. Our guide Jolyn ‘Jo’ Chow was exceptional. She not only knew the history but lived it! Sharing some of her personal stories from growing up in Singapore made it real. Such an amazing experience and highly recommend it - ask for Jo 😁
Joanne was a wonderfully gifted tour guide with deep knowledge of the history of Singapore and the evolution of it from a fishing village of 200 people to its present day. Woven throughout her narrative was an intimate knowledge of the cultures that make Singapore what it is and how it got here. Joanne is outstanding in her knowledge and passion for the tour. Sharing her insights and experiences along with history. She is exceptional in every regard. She made a good event a cherished memory. Best guide we've had on our many bookings.
Our tour guide Jolynn was an excellent addition to our visit to Singapore we was shown areas we would never had discovered without her vas knowledge of the area.I would highly recommend the walking tour and Jolynn as your Guide. Many thanks Joylynn for completing our holiday experience. Regards Andy & Poi.
