We enjoyed the styling and the intimacy of this small hotel. It is located in a very interesting / non touristy area. No ‘big sights’ but plenty of local color / interest and great food nearby. (Partic enjoyed tour of nearby Farrer park by Roll tours.) Hotel staff were excellent, very personable and attentive. We stayed in a ‘classic’ room. Reasonable for one person or for 2 people with hand luggage but we think it would be very tight of you had 2 people with checked luggage. We paid extra for lounge access and felt it was good value with an excellent breakfast, and bar snacks each night. Although you can have up to 3 cocktails a day, the choice was limited to the designated cocktail of the day. But there was also the option of beer, wine and soft drink choices. Rooms were very clean and individually decorated, and despite having a room on the road there was little outside noise ( and we were there on Friday and Saturday nights). Our only ( minor) hassle was light switches were difficult to sort out, and there were no USB or C type outlets. Would certainly stay there again.

Vagabond Singapore is such a beautiful and artistic place. The architecture is classic, elegant, and full of character, with so many thoughtful details that make the whole atmosphere feel special. The staff were incredibly lovely, warm, and professional throughout my visit. I especially enjoyed the Whisky Library — great food, perfect drinks, and such nice conversations and sharing from the team. Their taste in jazz music is also amazing and really adds to the charm of the place. A truly memorable experience with beautiful design, wonderful hospitality, and a very special vibe. Highly recommended.
I have to thank the amazing staff at the Vagabond Club hotel. We arrived after a 16 hour flight from Canada at 6am. The lovely Jennifer was amazing! She got us each a cappuccino, took our bags, gave us maps and information of what’s around the area. We went for a walk and had a bite to eat. When we arrived back at 9 am she had our room ready for us! Then we met Gabriel during the day shifts. He also was super helpful on transportation, things to see. We had great chats. We also met the head of the kitchen area, he made us a to go breakfast for 4am and Gabriel made us cappuccino’s!! Super grateful! The rooms were nice, clean and a comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! We only had to eat breakfast and supper with the amount of food we were given. It’s in a great location to see and experience so much! Thank you for the great hospitality!
This hotel is unique and appealing, offering a different atmosphere from other Marriott hotels I've stayed at. There are wonderful murals all over the room, which is interesting. The service is an excellent, there is really personalize service. The room is totally amazing and not too small and big. The breakfast is very good, I can enjoy at selecting from menus from fruits, main and beverages. Furthermore, the benefits for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite members and above are also quite substantial. Such as completely drinks (alcohols and non-alcohols), evening cocktails and breakfast. I would like to come back to stay again. Thank you so much..
Stayed at The Vagabond Club Singapore and was pleasantly surprised. The location is right on the edge of Little India—close to two MRT lines, but not directly connected, which can feel a bit inconvenient. It’s a very small boutique hotel with a bold, unusual design—definitely different from the typical Singapore hotel style. Not for everyone, but I found it fun and full of character. Despite the size, it never felt crowded. My room layout was unusual (bed right at the entrance, then a corridor with desk leading to the bathroom), but it actually worked well. Room size is decent, not large. Staff were genuinely friendly and engaging throughout the stay. Breakfast is à la carte—good for a couple of days, though it might feel repetitive over a longer stay. There’s a small club lounge concept (access included in my rate), more like a light bites selection than a full lounge offering. Rooms facing the courtyard are quiet, but walls are quite thin—you may hear neighbors. Also worth noting: no gym or pool. Overall, a charming boutique option if you value design and atmosphere over facilities.
