Very impressive and modern und clean Hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, functional and come with a good view. The rooms itself just are a little small, even if you book the bigger rooms. Location of the hotel is perfect, quickly at the brown, green and yellow MRT Station and so very quickly in the heart of the city. Very quite rooms. The pools on the roof are refreshing and beautiful.
My review has been long overdue. My sincere apologies to the staff who took care of me through my 2-night stay for not leaving a review sooner. I stayed here from the 26th to the 28th of January this year and I would like to say this place gave me one my best hotel experiences as a solo traveller. and it took staying at other hotels to realize how impeccable the service at Oasia truly is. I was blessed to book the club room and upon reaching the reception, the environment felt calm and relaxing. You could tell a lot of thought and intentionality went into the design of this place. I stayed here for my birthday and the staff (receptionist, lounge staff and concierge) were incredible. Everything they did for me made me feel at home and they felt like family. I was honestly so blown away by their show of love, care, concern and overall respect for me. I know they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and memorable. And I would always remain grateful to them. I wish them a beautiful life and I pray their heart desires come to pass. My stay at Oasia Downtown Hotel, albeit regrettably short, would always remain a huge part of my Singapore story.
Our travel agency booked Oasia Hotel Downtown as a stopover on our way to the Maldives for our honeymoon. While the hotel has some strong points, our overall experience was mixed, especially given the special occasion. On the positive side, the location is excellent. It is perfectly situated for exploring all of Singapore’s major attractions, making it very convenient if you have limited time to see the city. However, the atmosphere felt lacking and wasn't particularly welcoming—something we noticed even more since we were on our honeymoon, compared to other properties we stayed at. The biggest downside for us was the room cleaning. The housekeeping service was consistently done way too late in the afternoon. We would leave early in the morning to sightsee and return around 4:00 PM to rest and get ready for the evening. Unfortunately, the room was never ready. Every single day, housekeeping would knock on the door exactly when we were trying to rest or interrupt us while we were in the shower. Even when they did come by, the room wasn't actually cleaned—they simply made the bed and left fresh towels. If you are looking for a functional base to explore the city, the location is great, but the service and attention to detail definitely fell short for a romantic trip.
Hard to imagine more comfortable hotel, better swimming pool or services - if i compare price/value. Best place to start trip anywhere in Sing - 50m from MRT - we were here 7 days and we have to fully recommend. Great security by 2 divided lift section. Comfort, place, architecture of hotel, staff … all on 10 from 10.
The location is very convenient - next to MRT for the airport and all around Singapore with plenty buses passing by in many stops around the hotel. Though the breakfast may be rather limited, but it had all we need even on the Club floor - we did not check the one downstairs. The rooms size for Singapore was huge and had all the amenities and "healthy" snacks restocked daily. the bed super comfy. The pools on the rooftop and on the Club floor are amazing and totally worth the extra, and none were crowded when we stayed there. All the premises and the rooms were very clean. All the staff were very nice and helpful, the check-in was very quick and efficient. Very quiet all around in the hotel. Kudos to Oasia for delivering such a great value for money and exceeding 5* hotels nearby we stayed before! Definitely would recommend and stay again!
