⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful heritage hotel with exceptional service I had a wonderful stay at Maxwell Reserve Singapore, Autograph Collection. The hotel has such a unique character, with beautiful heritage architecture, elegant interiors, and thoughtful details throughout the property. One of the highlights was meeting Simar, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. His traditional uniform and the hotel’s collection of historic memorabilia made the experience feel special and memorable. He was also very kind and happy to share a little about the hotel and its history. I really loved the atmosphere of the hotel. The Polo Bar and the beautifully decorated lounge areas have a classic, elegant feel that you don't get from a typical modern hotel. Most importantly, the service was warm and personal. The staff made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. A beautiful hotel with character, history, and wonderful hospitality. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique stay in Singapore. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it a lovely place to relax after a day out exploring the city. Love the comfortable bed. The bar in the room is also beautifully designed and the room amenities are really great. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast menus available. The bar was another highlight — a beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and the perfect place to unwind in the evening with the friendly staff. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the experience from start to finish. The combination of the convinient surroundings, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and lovely bar made our visit very memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!
Good Ambience, Great Foods and Excellent Guest Service First time, stepped into nostalgia shop houses however modern and chic hotel with lots of Indian Military display. I felt with admirations and curiosity which they were tastefully displayed. The hotel has almost full facilities albeit long but narrow swimming pool and a small gym. The hotel is easily accessible to public transport, Chinatown and various/local foods outlets. However, I enjoyed good varieties, delicious and generous breakfast set at Hotel's Cultivate restaurant not forgetting Afternoon Nibbles and evening cocktails. One could rest, chill, swim, gym workout and have meals without leaving the hotel. Great layouts, beautifully designed and well-equipped room which one could rest and sleep comfortably. Indeed, it's comfortable, satisfied and enjoyable staycation which was also made possible by the following staff who were friendly, helpful and served with passion and smiles. Front Desk; Arianne, Arina, Anwar, Penny, Randy and Bill. Cultivate Restaurant; Jamie, Rinnie, Jainiesha, Sri, Ririan, Mark and Khan. Housekeeper: Ayesha Indeed, it is a comfortable and satisfied staycation.
Had an amazing dining experience at Shikar! The seabass was absolutely delicious, and the blue potato naan was a standout dish that I can’t stop thinking about. We ended the meal with the saffron French toast, which was truly to die for. The service was exceptional as well. A special shoutout to Jaime, who was incredibly hospitable and made us feel so welcomed and comfortable throughout the evening. His warmth and attentiveness really added to the overall experience. Fantastic food, wonderful service, and such a cosy atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back again! ❤️
I was walking past Tras Street when I saw a tall Sikh gentleman in a striking uniform. I greeted him with "Sat Sri Akal, brother, nice uniform." That simple greeting turned into one of the warmest, most passionate hotel introductions I've ever had. Simar, the guard at Maxwell Reserve Singapore, didn't just welcome me – he patiently walked me through the hotel's incredible story. He explained the legacy of Colonel Kuldeep Singh Garcha (a true guru of Indian polo), his son Satinder Garcha who runs the hotel today, and the beautiful detail about Satinder's wife Harpreet Bedi – a direct descendant of Guru Nanak and the Group's CEO. He then gave me a personal tour of the first level. The historical ornaments – the Sikh kirpan, vintage uniforms, polo shoes, and old photos – left me in awe. He showed me the North Indian restaurant inside the hotel and the elegant colonial-era bar, explaining everything patiently like a seasoned museum curator. (127 rooms, if I remember correctly – happy to be corrected, Simar!)😉 Before I left, he handed me a book, The Mark, which captures the Garcha family's roots, glory, and pride. Because of Simar's warmth and knowledge, my family and I will be coming back specifically for the restaurant. The bar will follow. That's a direct booking from a stranger he met on Tras Street. Thank you, brother – truly world-class service.
