A nice hotel with comfortable rooms, prompt service, and a good location. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet, which comes at a discount if you add it to your room the night before. Quality laundry service. A nice infinity pool on the 18th floor with great views. Easy to get a cab and located right in the middle of the country so nothing is more than 20 mins away (unless you hit bad traffic) My only complaint is the drink prices in the bar are sky high.
Short stay but wonderful stay from start to finish. We arrived early because of flight for our 24h layover, we were able to do an early check-in. The staff is really nice and friendly!This was amazing! The design of the hotel is beautiful! You have the facilities that you need! The pool is one of the most beautiful I have seen for a city hotel! The room is extremely comfortable! It is really well located!
I come to Singapore often and this is my go-to place. Rooms are modern, well appointed and regardless of side or floor, all of them are very quiet (no noise from street or adjacent rooms or corridors). The gym is functional, if small. The pool has a great view but not sure if it gets a lot of sun during the day (not an issue for me since visiting for business). The breakfast has plenty of western and asian options on the healthy or scrumptious side. Staff is very well trained. Overall, a great hotel still delivering at a very high level, in particular for business travellers.
I think this is the nicest JW property that I have stayed at. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful, the location was ideal for my purposes with easy access to the downtown attractions plus easy access to the MRT and busses for travel without needing a car or Grab service to get around Singapore. The meals in the Executive Lounge were first-rate. The gym is well equpped and even though I didn't use the pool, it looked inviting. The outdoor seating areas on the 18th floor were an unexpected treat. The entire facility is well maintained. All in all, this was a great stay at a great property. Although my Nightly Upgrade Award request was denied, I did appreciate being given a complimentary upgrade to an Executive Lounge-eligible room at check in without my having to ask. I would enjoy staying here again any time.
I stayed at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach twice during my trip. The first time, I had a wonderful room — large, spacious, with a beautiful bathroom featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower. It was a great experience. When I returned a few days later, however, I was given a much more average room. It was smaller, looked older, and had a strange musty smell, almost like dampness or mold. Since I have quite a few allergies, the smell really bothered me. Thankfully, the staff responded immediately and moved me to another room, which was much better and similar to the one from my first stay. It seems that not all rooms within the same category are equal, so your experience may depend on which room you are assigned. Overall, though, it was still a pleasant stay. The bar in the hotel is great, the location is very good, and having two pools is definitely a plus. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the pool on the 18th floor is covered, and the water was quite cold, so it may not be ideal for those who do not enjoy cold water. Overall, still a nice experience.
