Hotel Traveltine Downtown Singapore, Trademark Collection by Wyndham is a solid, informal choice if you are looking for a practical base while staying in the city. It is not the kind of place that screams opulence, but it does a great job of providing the essentials in a location that feels well-connected for both business and leisure travelers. The atmosphere is laid-back and low-pressure, making it an easy place to settle into after a long day of navigating the humidity and city traffic. The real highlights are the functional amenities, specifically the rooftop terrace with its pool, which offers a decent escape when you want to unwind away from the streets below. It is not a sprawling luxury resort, so you get a more personalized, manageable experience. While you should not expect ultra-modern high-tech frills in every corner, it hits the right balance of comfort and convenience if you prioritize a straightforward, reliable stay over an overly fussy hotel environment.

We had a pleasant stay at Traveltine. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff, especially Ethan, was outstanding he was very kind, cleaned our room thoroughly every day, and made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was good overall. While there weren’t many options and there were no omelets or live egg station, the food was fresh and of good quality, so we still enjoyed it. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, our check-in experience could have been better. We had just arrived after a long journey and only had US dollars with us. We weren’t aware that the security deposit had to be paid in Singapore dollars, and unfortunately, our US dollars weren’t accepted. We understand this is likely the hotel’s policy, but considering we were tired after traveling, it would have been appreciated if there had been a little more flexibility or assistance. Overall, we had a good stay, and thanks to the comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and especially Ethan’s excellent housekeeping service, we would recommend this hotel.

Small room (mostly because we added two single beds for the kids- we are 4l, but very clean, efficient in everyway. There is a nice rooftop pool with a good view. But the perk of this hotel is its location. We've been walking to most attractions. around (little India, Kampong Glam and Gardens by the Bay). We took a straight bus to Chinatown, and it wasn't even 15 minutes from airport at night! Very happy with the place!

I stayed at Hotel Traveltine Downtown Singapore in June 2025. Overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel is in a convenient location, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. One area that could be improved is the service from the night shift staff, who were not very friendly or welcoming. In contrast, the morning staff were much more polite and helpful, making the experience better. The breakfast was okay, with a reasonable variety of options, though nothing particularly memorable. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and with some improvement in the consistency of customer service, it could be an even better experience.
