Yellow pot restaurant - amazing place for a great family dinner for Chinese food. In addition to the food, the quality of service and ambience was great. Our server , liqiong was amazing. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea experience! The service was excellent, the snacks were delicious, and the tea was lovely. Every staff member was so friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I really enjoyed my time here and hope to come back next time to try their Chinese cuisine!
I recently spent a few days at Duxton Reserve Singapore and absolutely loved the experience. The location is fantastic, in the beautiful Duxton Hill neighbourhood, with so many restaurants, cafés and interesting streets around you, while still being very well connected to the rest of Singapore. The hotel itself is stunning. Designed by renowned British designer Anouska Hempel, the interiors are full of character, with an incredible combination of heritage architecture, black, gold and bold colours. It feels very different from a conventional luxury hotel. But the best part was definitely the team. A special thank you to Janice from Front Office, who was incredibly helpful when I had to change my departure arrangements at very short notice. She sorted everything out immediately, and the team even prepared a lovely breakfast to take with me as I was leaving very early. Thank you as well to Michelle, Krego, Ali and Jaryl from F&B for being so welcoming throughout my stay. I also had the pleasure of meeting Anushka from the marketing team, who is from Nepal, and the General Manager, who is from England. I always love meeting people who have moved abroad to work and build their careers in different countries, and it was lovely to hear a little about their experiences. I also had dinner at Yellow Pot, which was a real highlight. The restaurant offers a modern take on Chinese cuisine and the food was excellent. The complimentary airport transfer is another fantastic touch, and the stay also includes cocktails, snacks and small bites at the hotel’s lounge. These details make the whole experience feel much more thoughtful and give you a lovely place to unwind during your stay. Beautiful design, an excellent location and, most importantly, a genuinely lovely team. I would definitely recommend Duxton Reserve and would happily come back. Wonderful stay and an exceptional team!
This is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. It doesn't have a dedicated drop off/pick up spot. Customers are dropped off the narrow street in front and have to walk up a few stairs to arrive at the hotel. The service is good and the manager would spend his time talking to us while we enjoy our pot of tea. The hotel is supposed to be historical but there is no history of the hotel anywhere. It just looks "older" with moden features. The elevator is extremely slow. The room is tiny with mostly black design. It has black flooring, black walla and sink. It has a full beautiful closet of wine/liquors (not free). However, there's no place for you to sit and enjoy the wine if you choose to do so. You can sit on the bed or the heavy bench. One part of the black floor is squeaky and half of the bed is squeaky also. There is no separate shower and bathtub. This can't be a5-star hotel. The shower floor doesn't have enough slope for water to drain away quickly. The sink is huge and takes up half of the countertop (almost 6 ft wide). Who would need such a huge sink in a hotel! The other issue is about the gathering place in front of the elevator/lobby. There is some kind of function there when we were there. It must have 50 people gathered in the tiny spot along with a giant table filled with hundred of wine glasses. There is absolutely no space for customers to snake through the people. We have to excuse ourselves but people weren't really noticed us there. The only good part of the hotel is that it's close to Chinatown, other places that we can easily take a Grab to go to. We will definitely not stay here in the future if we have to pay at the asking price.
Our recent one-night stay at the Duxton Reserve was nothing short of spectacular. This property is an absolute visual masterpiece—the striking black, gold, and yellow interiors by Anouska Hempel create an atmosphere of old-world glamour and intimate luxury that completely sets it apart from standard city hotels. While the design and heritage architecture are incredible, it was the world-class hospitality that truly made our short stay memorable. A massive thank you to the Hotel Managers, Michelle and Ali. Their warmth, attentiveness, and impeccable professionalism stood out from the moment we arrived. They went completely above and beyond to ensure our brief stay felt incredibly special, taking care of every little detail with genuine care. The location in Tanjong Pagar is fantastic, surrounded by wonderful dining and just steps from Chinatown, and our room was an elegant, peaceful sanctuary. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back, largely thanks to the unforgettable standard of service set by Michelle, Ali, and their team. Highly recommended.
