Carlton Hotel Singapore

Spacious rooms in a prime location, with room for warmer service ​It was my first time staying at Carlton Hotel Singapore, and I was genuinely surprised by the room size—especially for a downtown Singapore property where space is usually at a premium. ​The room was spotless, equipped with great amenities, and exceptionally comfortable. The location is a huge plus: close to several major attractions, right across from vibrant nightlife spots (CHIJMES), and within walking distance to local shopping malls. ​Overall, a very pleasant stay. My only slight critique is the service: while efficient, the hospitality felt a bit transactional and could certainly be a bit warmer and more welcoming. Still, a solid option for both business and leisure travelers.

First time staying at a hotel in Singapore. Had my proposal in their Premium Room, truly memorable! The room was perfect for setting such a special occasion. One thing we especially appreciated was the hotel’s security. Only hotel guest could access the lift and check-out process were quick and hassle-free.

Nice facility, but disappointing front desk service. > While the facility itself is nice, the service at the front desk was lacking. Aqeem, who was managing the desk, handled my request like a robot simply reciting hotel policy. When I asked about checking out at 10 PM and offered to pay for an extra half-day, he just repeatedly quoted the policy stating that a half-day checkout is only until 6 PM, offering zero flexibility or helpful solutions.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff consistently provided outstanding service throughout my visit. I would especially like to recognize Fara from the reception team. She was exceptionally professional, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I arrived. Her kindness, efficiency, and genuine willingness to help made a great impression and contributed significantly to a positive guest experience. Thank you to Fara and the entire team for the excellent hospitality. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers
