I took off a star because the room was not really toddler friendly. I had the one with a king bed and city view.
The bed had a wooden back rest, and my oh my, my toddler got accident with it the first night we were there.
Also, the layout of the bathroom was weird and got super slippery after taking a bath. A little bit dangerous for toddler (again) and people who had feet/leg issues.
But they have kichen and stuff so it's convenient for me to heat up or cook food for my kid. Well, so it's a win-1/2win1/2lose situation.
Other than that. Everything was fine. Good location. Staff was good. Housekeeping was good too (she helped with the dishes, thanks much).
Great stay and amazing place! Place was big and spacious with all the necessary amenities. Love it! What makes it even better is the staff who attended to me. Want to give a special shoutout to Ana. She’s very friendly and hospitable, she makes sure that my requests are met and that my stay at the hotel is enjoyable and restful. She’s very helpful too! I needed help with my stuff and she carried them for me so that I do not need to make a 2nd trip. She also extended my card for a little longer so that I can make a 2nd trip to my room to bring the rest of the items down. Thank you Ana! 👍🏻

I had the pleasure of staying at Ascott Raffles Place Singapore for eight months in 2024, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The location is outstanding—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to the financial district, dining, and public transport. The facilities are excellent, modern, and very well maintained, making long stays extremely comfortable.
What truly made this stay special, however, was the service. All of the team members were amazing! From the door man to the front desk to the bartender, Everyone was super attentive and resourceful. I do want to recognize Alma, responsible for my room service, she went above and beyond throughout my time there. She consistently made me feel welcome and genuinely cared for, always greeting me warmly and ensuring everything was taken care of. Her kindness, attention to detail, and professionalism created a sense of home away from home that is rare to find in hospitality.
Because of the wonderful team and the outstanding service, especially Alma’s, I would highly recommend Ascott Raffles Place Singapore to anyone looking for a premium stay in Singapore. It is truly a place where hospitality feels personal.
This was less a 5 star hotel than a maybe an overpriced 4 star serviced apartment.
The room: Dated and wanting for at least a basic renovation. Odd layout for an apartment. Sink Basin plug was stuck, couldn’t shave. They provide wonderful tea but not a kettle to simply and effectively boil water. My window view was a neighbouring wall.
One morning the false fire alarm went on early for some 15 minutes.
One day they did pest treatment and my room didn’t smell nice.
Breakfast is extremely basic.
Nice pool but small.
