A wonderful experience from the pick up to the drop off. The guide was extremely knowledgable and discussed the history, religions, and cultural significance of each of the sites. The best part of the trip was when the guide surprised us with his knowledge of every photogenic location in the temples and would snap pictures of us with the quality of a professional photographer.
A wonderful trip to Angkor! We arrived through the back gate, avoiding the crowds, and basically had (the East side) of Angkor Wat for ourselves for a few minutes as we walked around the temple. Magical! Thom dod a great job telling stories, giving background, and answering questions, and he always knew where the best spots for photos are. Pickup was punctual, the van was nicely air conditioned, and Ted did a great job driving and providing us with cold drinks and cold towels to keep us cool (enough)!
Loved this experience! Having Thom as our private guide was great because you get a personalized experience and all your questions answered. Having the van was SO nice in the hot weather - it had great air conditioner, cold towels, and cold water bottles to keep us hydrated in between stops. Thom knows all the photo spots and all the history! Side note - be careful of the photographers - they will say $1 but they mean per picture - and then they will take dozens. Agree on a final price beforehand or skip entirely!
We had the most wonderful sunrise tour of Angkor Wat with our Tourguide Thom! He was extremely knowledgeable, kind and funny and took us to many beautiful spots! Can warmly recommend this to anyone who wants to get to know Cambodia!

Thom was an amazing guide - knowledgeable, patient, funny, and a great photographer. He knew where to find the best coffee and cleanest bathrooms in the park as well as the best locations for photos. His extensive knowledge of the history and details of all the temples made the experience much more special and memorable and he shared a lot on how culture and history have shaped Cambodia today. I especially loved hearing all of the stories behind the intricate carvings and galleries at each of the temples, so impressive how much he knows about them. One of the best guides I have ever had!

Thom, our guide, was nothing short of perfection. He was a natural teacher, and not only gave the history of what we were looking at, but helped to fit it into the larger context. We had an amazing experience exploring the temples, including the stunning sunrise over Angkor Wat! Thom was a fantastic guide, he is so knowledgeable about all the temples and the history of Cambodia. We didn't feel rushed, we had plenty of time to explore and Thom knows all the best photo spots! I went to Cambodia during the peak season (Christmas, New Year) and reached out to Thom. He was great in accommodating our request for a 2 day tour even though I messaged him just a few days before I was due to arrive in Siem Reap. He was extremely helpful and gave advice on which temples would be good and how many days would be best. Our tourguide Mr. Seng Sunleang was an amazing tourguide and extremely knowledgable on the history of Angkor and Cambodia. Not only was it a great experience to see Angkor Wat, Bayon temple, Ta Prohm among others, but our tour guide really made the trip perfect. We also visited a few other temples that our tourguide recommended which had less tourists. I definitely recommend Travel 2 Inspire for any tours, especially if you would like an authentic tour to learn about the history and culture of Cambodia. It was great that we weren't with large tour groups, as they looked tiring and not personalised. I would definitely ask Travel2Inspire again when I am back in Siem Reap! Thank you Thom!
Like many people visiting the amazing Angkor Wat UNESCO site has been a bucket list item. Myself (Joffa) and friend Matt has a private tour lead by Thom (SAN). Thom’s description of the site, it’s culture and history was first class. He was even attentive to highlight really good photo positions around the site. Angkor Wat May be the hero (especially at sunrise) but there is plenty more to see on this huge site. We also took a boat ride to visit the floating community (living on houseboats) who mix fishing and crocodile farming. Thom took us to Artisans of Angkor we’re we saw a social enterprise initiative to give skills to poverty ridden people that now produce world class arts and crafts. Thom then arranged for us to go to the Cambodian circus which was was huge fun. Thom offered local tips on everything. Also impressive is that Thom is very community minded and has his own pursuits in the form of social enterprise where his efforts will direct profits to other locals. Book Thom I say - I’d definitely recommend Thom to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
Thom was an amazing private tour guide for my boyfriend and I for our entire stay in Siem Reap. He immediately came up with an itinerary and each day was filled with activities to experience the culture and history of Siem Reap. He was very knowledgeable and informative whether we were visiting a temple or driving by landmarks or just history/facts in general about anything. We visited 3+ temples (Angkor Wat was by far my favorite - especially at sunrise), we also took a boat ride to visit a crocodile farm, we also enjoyed a nice international buffet while watching a show of traditional Cambodian dancers, we also had the chance to attend the Cambodian circus which was was very entertaining! Not to mention, we were able to try a couple of restaurants he recommended to us. To summarize, we both had an amazing time and will definitely recommend Thom to anyone we know visiting Siem Reap!!

We made a family visit to Cambodia recently and went to see the sunrise in Angkor Wat. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Our tour guide Thom was great helpful to understand the history of the temple. He has a vast knowledge of the history in his finger tip and he explained every minor details. We really enjoyed the architecture and the story craved on the stone wall. Again Thom interpreted all the carvings in a manner we all found understand. We made a few other tours in Siem Reap and again it was much enjoyable with the help of the guide. Thom pointed us to places where we could enjoy local food and get good quality things at reasonable price. His history knowledge and communication skills are commendable.
Although the sites of Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm themselves are a marvel to witness, Thom’s knowledge and guidance definitely enhanced the overall experience for us. Thanks to Thom, we were able to learn the extensive history of the respective sites - from the 12th century to the present day. I particularly enjoyed his recount of the stories reflected in the carvings, which is not something that can be gleaned simply by looking at the temples. If you appreciate history, architecture, or even just a beautiful sunset, this is the tour for you :)
Really enjoyed our temple tour in Siem Reap! Angkor Wat was particularly stunning during sunrise, when we visited. Thom, our tour guide, knew the temples like the back of his hand. He always made sure to explain any inscriptions or carvings which made the visits much more meaningful. Plus he takes excellent photos!! The views from Bayon and Ta Prohm temple were also stunning! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a day to explore Siem Reap’s culturally rich history.
Sara was an amazing tour guide, taking us through Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple and Ta Prohn. She met us at our hotel at 4:30am with a smile and was extremely nice and insightful the entire time. Learning about all of the temples was an amazing experience. Additionally, being able to hop in the car with a cold water and cloth was a great refresher for inbetween temples (although we initially took the Tuk Tuk before the sunrise while it was still not hot and that was a great experience). Sara was an amazing tour guide, but my girlfriend and I now consider her a great friend. We highly recommend taking a tour, no matter where, with Sara! Best, Erik and Jamie
The guide was very friendly and entertaining in English. If I had gone alone, I would never have seen halfway, but the car was also running, so I came to see well. Especially the photos were very good, so it was a good memory!!
The tour was the most spectacular, Theany's attention was amazing, absolute mastery of information and very nice, plus she takes amazing photos! Thanks for all Theany! Very soon we will be back!
