The tour was absolutely amazing! It was even better than we expected. We got to visit a local market, a beautiful temple with monks, and a lotus farm, while also trying some delicious local food. The lunch at the end was especially delicious! The bike ride was easy, relaxing, and really enjoyable, and we loved getting to discover the local way of life. Everyone we met was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend this tour! It’s a wonderful way to discover the area, experience the local culture, and it’s absolutely worth the price.

I booked this last minute and boy, I am so glad I did! My first ride in a tuk tuk was followed by a walk through a local morning market, a monastery, and then an easy cycle through the surrounding countryside. We saw lotus fields, a local community recycling rice sacks into bags, stopped for fried banana (don’t miss this!) and maybe a drop or two of rice wine! It finished with a fabulous lunch. Couldn’t believe they ran this trip just for me. Highly recommend this for the local insights, knowledge and seeing how people really live.
Sayoeun, gave us an unique experience with taking us into the country side. This friendly small family business is recommended.
I cannot recommend this guided tour enough, two day tour of numerous temples around Siem Reap, Cambodia. Our guide Mr Sayoeon was extremely knowledgeable, experienced and explained the history of all the temples very well - he is an extremelycool guy. A shout out to Mr Vuth, who drove us around. His vehicle was extremely clean and tidy. 5 star service and nothing could be faulted. Thank you and hopefully our paths will cross again.
Sayouen was a brilliant guide we booked a two day tour with him to visit all the temples in siem reap. His knowledge of history was amazing. Highly recommend if you are visiting siem reap. Special shout out to our driver mr Vuth
Sayoeun was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide! He was very patient in answering the many questions I had before the trip, and very willingly accommodated to our requests. On the day of the tour, he was early in meeting us, and gave us a very detailed, in-depth explanation of not just the sites we saw but also of the culture, history, and way of life of Cambodian people which made us really appreciate and understand the culture more. You can tell his passion from the stories that he told us, and he was also adaptable to our needs (we ended up being too exhausted from visiting three temples that we made the call to skip lunch). Believe he will also be starting a tour on bikes with new programmes, and I believe those will be as good! Definitely recommend.
We were looking for the chance to experience life and the country around Siem Reap not offered by the normal temples tours and this didn’t disappoint. This is a relatively new tour option hence most reviews are recent but it is perfectly set up. Picked up from hotel at 8am, then travel out to the countryside via a local market (where the guide engagingly explained different ingredients and dishes) and a monastery. The cycle tour follows, then lunch back at the tour base. Would thoroughly recommend for families and all others - no need to be particularly fit.
We wanted to experience local life and markets and see the countryside around Siem Reap and the tour really exceeded our expectation. The tour and our tour guide Sayoeun and his family are just wonderful. We learned so much, tasted amazing food and a special highlight was the Buddhist blessing. I can’t recommend this tour enough if you like to feel part of the real Cambodia for the day.
Had an amazing day with Sayeoun!!! Started with a visit to the local market, he did a great job of explaining a lot about the foods and how they are used. Learned a lot about Cambodian home cooking! Next visited a buddist temple and received a blessing, super cool experience! Also walked the grounds and learned a lot about the life of monks before heading to his family home where we met his amazing and friendly family before heading off on a bike ride. The bike was a great way to see local countryside life, with several little stops along the way, learned about lotus farms, saw handmade baskets being made and tried some local rice wine. It was a great glimpse into Cambodia culture! And everyone was super friendly. Finished the day with a delicious meal of sour curry and rice. They were trurly amazing hosts and I had such a great day!!! Would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to see and learn more about traditional Cambodian life.
Our family (with three teenage kids) did this tour and it was fantastic. It was a leisurely, easy bike ride and we saw things that we wouldn’t normally have seen and it was a great insight into local Cambodian lives. Highlights include a stop at a local food market bustling with activity, a pagoda where we received blessings from the head monk, a ride past the lake and through the rice patty fields and a stop at a local family that produces rice wine. Amazing stuff, Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the traditional lunch served at the end of the tour was delicious and the family that prepared the lunch was lovely. I recommend that everyone do this tour as it is well worth the cost.

Our family had an amazing day cycling through local Cambodian villages with Sayoeun. He was a knowledgeable and fun host, stopping along the way to share information and local insights. We particularly loved our visit to the local market (pro tip: don’t eat breakfast beforehand so you can make the most of the food there!) as well as the pagoda (being blessed by the local monk was amazing). At the end of the tour, our well earned lunch was delicious. The ride was flat and felt safe, I think all fitness levels could handle this bike ride. I’d 100% recommended this tour for families looking to extend their holidays to experiences off the beaten track and understand a little more about life in Cambodia
Very good experience to see local life, the bike ride was very enjoyable and I highly recommend it to travellers coming to Cambodia !
I was very happy I experience so many things I saw so many things I have never seen before I will love to go again and again with my friends
What a wonderful day with Sayeoun! From our hotel, we went to a nearby villlage and toured the local market. Sayeoun pointed out a variety of meats and vegetables, explaining how they are used in cooking. He helped us order delicious food and drink. We then went to a monastery where we observed and learned about Buddhist practice. We visited a lotus farm and a small shop that recycles rice bags into new products. We finished off our tour with a wonderful lunch 🥗 n the village before returning back to our hotel. It was wonderful to get away from all the crowds in siem reap and learn about local village life.
Sokpee was an amazing tour guide dedicated to sharing his knowledge and finding the most picturesque spots! A super cool experience I definitely recommend.
The tourguide Sayouen was really nice and passionate. We first started the morning by going to the market. He explained a lot about the local fruits and vegetables and the way this market works. Afterwards we passed by the Monastery and did a ceremonie with a monk where we got blessed. After this we started our bike tour where we went morr to the countryside. On the way we stopped by a few places on the road to try some local lotus seeds. We saw rice fields and lotus fields. At the end, right before we arrived at our lunch spot we stopped by a place where they make local rice wine. The lunch spot was great in a remote place with an amazing view of the rice fields all around. The food was delicious and there was plenty! I absolutely recommend this tour :))
Fun bike tour with a guide, Sayouen, who speaks good English and knows a lot. We tried some food on the market and we ended with a very good lunch in the middle of the rice fields. We would certainly recommend
We did the tour with 11 girls and we really liked the activity! Sayoeun explained everything so well and is very enthusiastic 😊 Akun
I travelled solo from Morocco and knew absolutely nothing about Cambodian culture before this trip. Thanks to Sokpi, that completely changed. From the very first moment, he made me feel welcome and safe, and what followed was an unforgettable experience. Sokpi is not just a tour guide – he’s a true cultural ambassador. He took me to incredible places that you won’t find on the internet or in any guidebook – hidden gems that only a real local expert would know. His knowledge of Cambodian history, traditions, and everyday life is outstanding, and his English is absolutely perfect, which made everything easy and enjoyable. I had a fantastic time with him – not only did I learn a lot, but I genuinely had fun. He’s trustworthy, kind, and full of positive energy. Time flew by in his company! Whether you’re a solo traveller or with a group, I highly recommend booking with Sokpi. He brings joy, deep cultural insights, and access to stunning landscapes and sites you wouldn’t find otherwise. He’s also incredibly helpful and always there when you need something. Don’t hesitate for a single second – book a tour with him, and you’ll thank yourself later. 🙏 1000% recommended!
We love it! As always , the tour was well organised, and catering to unique experiences, professionalism, expertise and knowledge. I do recommended especially to have a different cultural experience from the all the same offered tours.
Great experience with a really good guide. Sokpee is a nice and funny person full of informations that he’s like to share
Tour was amazing with a very professionnal guide ! He knew a lot about history and tradition and could provide a lot of information that made the tour even more interesting. We had a lot of fun too so that the experience was incredible! I highly recommend this tour and would book again when I come back to this beautifull country.
My husband and I were visiting Cambodia this March and booked a private tour with Sam. We really enjoyed the tour. Sam was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information. He also was very attentive to my husband who had a difficult time with the heat. I would highly recommend Sam. You will truly enjoy his tour.
Lucky was the best tour guide we could have asked for. We was beyond helpful and even helped us set up our TukTuk drive for the temples extremely last minute. He was a miracle worker. I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable he is either, and perfect English!
Had a great experience, learned a lot of new things, all thanks to the tour guide Sam. Highly recommended for anyone interested!
it was amazing, especially Sokpee was a really nice guide!! Sokpee spoke really nice english which was nice. when we wanted to rest he would let us.
My wife and I had the pleasure of Sokpee’s company, he is a lovely kind man , with a great depth of knowledge / history. We had a fantastic day ,that we will remember for many years to come. We were looked after very well and thought the tour was good value. Would recommend to anyone looking for a private tour.
Sokpee is an amazing guide! Some friends and I toured a local market, a beautiful monastery and cycled around a village. Topped it off with lunch at local house. Highly recommended.
Sam was our guide for an Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom Temple and Koulen Mountain tour in May 2024. It was an excellent tour. Sam made us feel very comfortable and went out of his way to help us enjoy the memorable experience. We will definitely return to Siem Reap in the future and select SAM as our guide for future tours in the wider area.
This was the best tour I booked while in Cambodia. My guide Sam was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He made this a very special excursion and I would 100% recommend this for anyone wanting a true local experience while in Cambodia.
Sam is a great guide, and his passion and warmth were evident on my tour with him. Very professional and it was clear that his goal was to make our group's experience a memorable one, which he did.
For everyone who wants to experience local culture and cuisine besides the typical sights of Angkor, this tour is the right choice. We had a great time and our guide Sam could weave what we saw with Cambodian history as well as his own experiences, especially regarding developments of the last years. With his background in history, Sam is a perfect guide and very knowledgeable.
Sam has been an extraordinary guide for our tour, offering extremely insightful information about the Cambodian culture and history and making us appreciate the market way more than what we could have done on our own. He is very nice and you can truly see how passionate he is about his job, this made our journey unforgettable. He was very careful about the pick up and drop off as well, everything was on time. We would definitely recommend Sam and his tour to anybody.
Excellent tour, amazing guide, very friendly and informative. Went above and beyond to give us a fabulous tour Highly recommended
I recently went on this tour and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The tour was well-organized, and everything ran smoothly. Our guide, Sam, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We visited several amazing spots and had enough time at each location to explore and to take pictures. The traditional lunch was just great. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap and its surroundings. Thank you, Sam, for such a memorable experience!
Sam was an incredible guide. From his prompt pick up to the drop off at the end of the day, he looked after everything. His local knowledge meant we got so much more out of the market and local experience than if we had just stumbled around on our own. Totally worth it and highly recommend Sam and his business.
We had a wonderful time touring with Sam! He was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Would strongly recommend booking him anytime!!
Sam and dara were absolutely amazing you could not ask for two more attentive and knowledgeable people to bd our Guide and driver
We really enjoyed our tour with Sam! Communication was great and the tour and stops were just as described. Siem Reap is such a special place and it is helpful to have a guide share things with you. You will be in good hands with Sam and he is also a kind and interesting person to spend time with.
I can't stop say amazing tour with Sam. We learn a lots about the local lifestyle market monk blessing with best experiences cycling the local bike around the the village taste the street food. We had the delicious Khmer food. High recommend this tour
Sokpee is an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable about the history and culture of all the places he brought us. My family had the best tour in Siem Reap with him! Highly recommended!
Amazing trip! We enjoyed learning how the lotus plant is turned into fibers that are used to make scarves for Hermes and other top-line businesses. The bike ride to Tonlé Sap Lake was about 7 kilometers --- an easy ride, but don't forget sunscreen! The market featuring meat and fish was fascinating; the fish about as fresh as is possible to buy. One was still trying to jump off the table! We loved the peaceful feeling of getting a blessing from a Buddhist monk. The tour ended at our guide's home where we were treated to a delicious Khmer home-cooked meal. Then we enjoyed the sunset and the quiet of the countryside. Our guide, Sam, is friendly and engaging and has a smile that lights up the room. On this tour, we felt like we had experienced authentic Cambodian life.
Sokpee is a phenomenal tour guide, and infused every stop and site with historical and personal context. It made our visit even more rewarding and personal, and we left feeling a deeper connection to the Siem Reap area than we ever imagined. Sokpee also demonstrated a playful generosity toward every local he encountered, whether he was providing snacks for the cleaning crew or chatting away with security. We had an incredibly memorable experience, and felt like we made a lifelong friend. Highly recommend!
My friends and I bought a tour package, consisting of Angkor wat, Bayon and a few other temples. Very good experience overall, particularly due to our amazing guide!
Sayoeun is a committed guide. He willingly shares his knowledge and interesting facts about the places he tours. He uses printed English, so there shouldn't be a problem understanding what he's talking about. Smiling, nice and friendly guy, so I think that people who decide to go on the trip won't regret it.
We spent 3 days in this wonderful city, visited many churches. Our guide - as a former monk - was able to share a lot of special information with us and organized an unforgettable trip. Thank you! I can only recommend it to everyone!
We were given a 3-day guided tour. It was busy and very enjoyable. We were given an insight into the history of the churches and sites we visited. He did a great job of building on the tours, so we were constantly learning more and more about cultural and historical events. We also got great suggestions on where and what to eat, visited souvenir shops - at very good prices. We also had the chance to visit smaller towns and see people's daily lives. Our guide was also aware of the current economic background, so we could understand how the country works I highly recommend it to all those who want a quality tour guide!
This was a great experience and Sokpee was a fantastic host. The prices are fantastic for the service and Sokpee will show you the local area and accommodate whatever you need! Recommend booking if visiting Siem Reap!
I would highly rate this tour Sokpee was a great guide and showed us real slice of Cambodian life. The market was an amazing experience and it was great to have an easy going guide who was able to point out all the important parts of market life.
