The itinerary itself is brilliant but the way we were treated made it all the more an enjoyable & memorable day. Tann’s experience as a tour guide is evident with his ability to share his vast knowledge, kept us informed what’s next, maintained the schedule to best avoid crowds but in a relaxed manner and frequently offered to take our photos at stunning locations during the day. Our driver, Nat, did a fabulous job negotiating bumpy roads cautiously & really looked after each of us when returning with chilled refreshing face-towel & icy cold water to drink. I especially enjoyed the local treats including red banana. I Highly recommend this tour & will certainly be looking to Angkor Buddy Tour when we return to Cambodia again 🇰🇭💖

Itinerary
For the Kulen Waterfall, Banteay Srei, and Beng Mealea Tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. The journey to the mountain takes approximately 2 hours, offering scenic views of the Cambodian countryside along the way. You’ll spend the day exploring Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea Temple, and Kulen Mountain’s historical and natural attractions, including the Reclining Buddha, the River of a Thousand Lingas, and the waterfall. After a full day of exploration, we’ll drop you off at your hotel in the evening, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Banteay Srei is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located about 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) north of Angkor Wat, it's renowned for its intricate carvings, which are considered some of the finest in all of Khmer architecture. The temple is made of red sandstone, allowing for elaborate and detailed artwork, including scenes from Hindu.
Preah Ang Thom is an 8 meters (26 ft) tall statue of the reclining Buddh reaching nirvana. The statue is carved into a huge natural sandstone boulder to which a modern staircase has been added along with a shelter over the Buddha. It is a very sacred and special site for all Cambodians and there are always patrons visiting the site and at times becoming quite busy.
Along a stretch of the riverbed for around 500 m there are carvings of linga, several big and small yoni, and a large carving of Vishnu. Along the walls of the riverbed, a small carving is also seen in the bedrock.
There are two main waterfall in Phnom Kulen National Park. First waterfall: 4–5 metres (13–16 ft) tall and around 25 metres (82 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. Second waterfall: 15–20 metres (49–66 ft) tall and around 15 metres (49 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. The size of the waterfalls varies according to the seasons and the rain. Visiting the waterfalls is a popular activity on Kulen Mountain Tour.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant near either Beng Mealea Temple or Banteay Srei Temple, depending on the timing.
Beng Mealea, located about 40 kilometers east of Angkor Wat, is one of Cambodia’s most enigmatic temples. Built in the early 12th century, it remains largely unrestored, giving visitors a sense of discovery as they wander through its collapsed galleries and vine-covered walls. Unlike other temples in the region, Beng Mealea is surrounded by thick jungle, with trees and roots intertwined with the temple stones, creating an atmosphere of mystery and adventure. Its massive scale and largely untouched state make it a captivating destination for those seeking a more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience.
After a full day of exploring Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea Temple, and Kulen Mountain’s historical and natural attractions, including the Reclining Buddha, the River of a Thousand Lingas, and the waterfall, we will begin the return journey in the late afternoon. The drive back to Siem Reap takes about 1.5 hours, and we will drop you off at your hotel around 5:00PM to 5:30 PM, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing end to your tour.

Perfect way to discover Cambodian nature and incredible temples outside Angkor. Our guides Tann Sopheap and Nat were the best: super helpful and attentive and their explanations and insights really good. Recommended 100%. Also: good food and better pictures.
Very nice ecperience with a full day tour. The bus was good, the guide Rat Sopheat was friendly and very knowledgeable about history of Cambodia and all places we visited. I would recommend this tour.
Sopheap Rath and Nath were excellent guides in showing my family and I around Siem Reap. Sopheap has an incredible knowledge of Cambodian culture and history and both him and Nath took excellent care of us. I highly recommend booking a tour with them.
The trip was very beautiful, combining temples with nature. We swimm in the waterfall and see ancient temples accompanied by a professional guide Tann. He gave us lots of interesting information and take us pictures. Also he and the driver give us fruits, water, cold towels and a traditoonal cake. The local restaurant, where we stop to eat had great food.
We had a great tour with Tan and Nat today. Tan provided lots of interesting information not only about each of the places we visited but also about the history of Cambodia and life here today. We were a small group of 4 so were able to go round each of the sights at a good pace. We enjoyed each of the places visited although the highlights were probably swimming at Kulen waterfall and Banteay Srei. Tan timed each of our stops to perfection to avoid any large crowds. We really appreciated the snacks, water and refreshing towels provided along the way. It was a really enjoyable day.
Tan and Nat were extremely helpful and informative guides. I had a wonderful time with them. Tan has great knowledge of Hindu mythology and can explain the relevance of the temples with accurate details.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Day with Tann & Nat A fantastic full-day tour and one of the highlights of our time in Cambodia. Tann was an excellent guide, sharing fascinating insights into Khmer history, culture and local traditions at every stop. Nat was a safe, friendly and professional driver, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable throughout the day. Highlights included Beng Mealea, Phnom Kulen National Park, Kulen Waterfall, Banteay Srei, and Preah Dak Village. The day was well paced, with plenty of time for photos, exploring and relaxing. A lovely extra touch was the complimentary cold water, fresh fruit, a morning snack, and a traditional Cambodian afternoon snack, which were a real treat and much appreciated. Highly recommend! If you get Tann as your guide and Nat as your driver, you're in for a wonderful experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I am really happy with the Ankor Buddy tour. They had requested to change the tour as their taxi got am issue, but when I expressed my inability to do that they continued the tour, with only two people. The guide Mr Tann ane the driver Mr Nat were so hospitable that the day passed very comfortably. Tann is a learned guide and a very humble person. I emailed it. They took care of everything very well. I was a solo traveler and they made the trip a memorable one
They operated the tour even though there were only two travelers today. The guide Tann and driver Nat are very good. Walked with us the whole day, prepared fresh fruit basket, cold towels and water. The day trip itself is amazing, including two temples, waterfall and cliff. I highly recommend it!
Tann was our guide and I've never experienced such a knowledgeable AND passionate guide. Tann knew his history for the last thousand of years and be able to relate it to the current political climate in Cambodia. I normally do not do guided tours but I am so glad I did this tour because Tann made the day. His knowledge of when it will be busy, weather predictability and route to take was perfect! He made sure we fully experienced every single location even when the weather creates challenges. Highly recommend Tann. 10/10!
It was an amazing tour. Since I was the only booking for the day, the company honored my booking and upgraded me to a private tour at no extra cost. A lot of other companies would have cancelled but they were great about it. My guide/driver was Tann and he was fantastic. Pickup was prompt. Pacing was perfect and adapted to my speed. Tann was also knowledgable about photography and helped take some nice photos of me. He also bought be some bananas to try and some steamed buns that were tasty. I opted to do a follow up sunset transport of Phnom Bakheng Temple from him for $20 afterward, which was great. Tann also provided local recommendations such as the big boxing event that same night, circus, and more.
When your’re not a client, but a SPECIAL GUEST! I was the only person who booked the tour in that date and they were so kind and professional not to cancel it, I really appreciated it! The day was perfect: pick up on time, luxury van, very safe driving and Tann was a very experienced guide, he made the difference! He explains me a lot in perfect and fluent English; it was such a pleasure to talk with him about… anything! He knows a lot of things! He offered me bottles of cold water, fresh towels, fresh fruit and I had the chance to taste delicious palm sugar coconut deserts! The locations we visited were unique, they deserve absolutely a visit! The itinerary was well planned, visiting Beng Malea in the morning was the perfect time because of the light and less crowded ! Can I give more than 5 stars?
We had an amazing experience. The guide and driver were both very good. Niemsokhen (our guide) gave us detailed information on all the places that we visited and was very friendly. Just be prepared for the heat.
Met Guide directly at 7:40 Super friendly guide named Tan It turned out gorgeous weather and he accommodated the direction of route for weather to be perfect First, middle and end Treated to different bananas and delicious steamed palm cake with coconut for finish drive back to hotel Lunch stop perfect timing for when hungry Saw allot of Cambodia culture and got enough walking in for it truly being an excellent private tour even tho we were not expecting this!! Comfort vehicle to drive us around!! Thank you Tan!!!!
Fantastic day! Sopheap Rath was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable and informative. Not only that, he did an awesome job helping to document the day with photos and videos. Nat provided safe and efficient transportation and was always waiting with a cold towel and cold water!
The tours are very well organized. The hotel pickup is punctual, the car is clean and the driver careful and skilled. The guide (in my experience, Tann) speaks very good English and is a qualified professional with 20 years of experience in this industry. I had a very good experience, a full day with temples, waterfalls and beautiful panoramas. Highly recommended!!!
Please don’t skip this activity ! Swimming in the waterfall and having the opportunity to get lost to ancient temples accompanied by local treats is a must. If you can choose your guide, I’d strongly recommend Mr Tann: polite, smiley, discreet, he gave us lots of useful information AND an excellent photographer, thanks to him I have photos that seem to be taken from a professional !
Tann was amazing. And so was the driver. Had the best time and really would go again. Thank you yo him and the driver. A memorable expereince.
The guide was SO knowledgeable about the location, history and tips of where to take photos. The temple still in ruins was easy to access and I recommend visiting. The reclining Buddha was at the top of many steps and worth the climb. The waterfalls, river carvings and cliff top were fascinating and spectacular
The tour was amazing. Tann is an expert, kind, and knowledgeable guide. Everything was perfect: Beng Mealea temple, the Waterfall,1000 ligas, the Banteay Srey temple. We learnt a lot of things not only about the tour but also about recent history of Cambodia. Also our driver was very kind and supportive. Even if it was an hot day, we feel comfortable due to air conditioning, water always fresh and amazing wet Towel. Highly recommended, you will be satisfied

Thanks to Tann's amazing guiding, I was able to gain a lot of knowledge and have many wonderful experiences. If you visit Cambodia, I highly recommend joining his tour.
Our guide gave us a great history lesson of Cambodia on the way to the waterfall. This was unexpected, but really gave us a lot of insight into their culture that we otherwise would not have known. The guide was very good with the camera. He captured a lot of great photos and videos for us at the sites we visited.
We had a great day with Tan. The trip was a good combination of nature and culture.
Tann was very helpful and knows a lot about Khmer history. He speak very well in English, and takes very nice beautiful photos. On the other hand, Napp the driver was also very good and safe driving.
We had a great time on this excursion! A lot of insightful information and engaging activities from Tan and his team! And besides all that, he takes amazing shots and Instagram style videos of you throughout the whole day! Really recommend this tour with this guide! Thank you Tan!
Tann was the best tour guide I’ve ever had in Asia! He was so chill and kind, and very knowledgeable. I had fun listening to him discussing geopolitics with other people in our tour. I have physical limitations, so I skipped on some attractions. Tann kindly offered to help me each time because he didn’t want me to miss them, but never pushed when I said no. Him and the driver made me feel so safe as a solo female traveler. Tann also took the best pictures of us! He has a very good eye when it comes to photography. I would definitely recommend you book with them.
Had a great time on this tour. So, our guide was fantastic we have a brilliant knowledge of the temples and delivered it in a way we could all understand. We were not rushed. Nath the driver was also great after each temple he had cold towels and water ready for us. Would highly recommend.
Great day. Our guide,So, was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the history of the temples. We went to a few different places throughout the day but never felt rushed. Nat, the driver, was excellent, offering cold drinks and cold towels after each site visit. I would highly recommend this trip.
Super informative tour guide So with driver Prob. We had a great day, saw way more and learnt way more than we would have on our own which was well worth it. So was super helpful, professional, friendly and went above and beyond. He knew the answer to every question I had and I had a lot! The wet towels and cold water that were distributed three times throughout the day at the hottest/most active points were so very much aporeciated.
Fantastic day trip out from Siem Reap, featuring two of the lesser-seen temples and a host of other sights. Guide Tan and driver Nat did everything they could to make us feel at home (super appreciated on a hot day!). Itinerary was super varied: the two temples were completely different and the cliff and waterfall stops were also highlights. Highly recommend!
I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Tan did a great job! Thank you for this wonderful tour and all your effort :)
It was an excellent tour! Thank you so much for Tann and our driver. Very ki d, knowledgable and experienced. We had a great time. Hoping to come again soon and do trip with you again. Thank you!
DONT SLEEP ON THIS TOUR! Highly Recommended Tann and Driver were phenomenal, they delivered a high quality tour around Kulen Mountain temples, 1000 Linga river, sightseeing, Buddah and my favorite temple of all Banteay Srei, Worth doing this tour as a complement of Angkor Wat temples. Lunch place was good, transportation top notch, clean 4 people van, very private and quality service.
Fabulous tour with a great guide who had a tonne of information to share with us about all places visited. Schedule meant lunch was very late in the day. We had brought our own, so we were ok, but that would be good information for customers to know.
We booked this tour to pick up 2 temples that were a little further away from Siem Reap, which are well worth the travelling, particularly Benteay Srey (ladies temple), the carvings are truly spectacular. The bonus on this tour is Kulen mountain where our fantastic guide Sopheap (So), continued to give us fantastic information and history of the area. Preah Ang Thom (reclining Buddha), Brama’s waterfall and Ta Kho cliff are spectacular. There was always an ice cold water and a cold towel waiting for us from Mr Nath our driver.
Great tour, our guide Sol was very informative - explained Cambodian history and temple history and took some great photos of us. We were even able to swim in the pool below the waterfall so don’t forget your swimwear. Our driver Nath was great, he even provided cold towels and water every time we got back in the minibus
Brilliant trip. Tan was a Brilliant guide! The whole day exceeded expectations. I highly recommend it as a fun adventure
This was an awesome trip. Than is a brilliant tour guide (and also photographer!). The two temples we went to see were some of the most beautiful I saw in Cambodia. I would thoroughly recommend.
Great tour with fantastic guide Tann who spoken excellent English, and driver Nat. Only me, my wife and one other booked for the day, so practically a private tour. Cold water and cold towels offered at each stop. Lovely mixture of temples, views and the waterfall swimming. I highly recommend the trip!
It was a tour that deepened my understanding of temples and religion, as well as nature and local customs. The cold water, cool towels, and the staff’s kind help with taking photos made me truly feel their hospitality. These are wonderful memories of Cambodia, thank you tanm.
This full-day tour from Siem Reap felt like three trips in one: culture, nature, and adventure. Starting with Banteay Srei, the delicate pink-sandstone carvings were easily the most intricate I saw in the region, and the quieter setting made it feel special.
nice experiment&hospitality!! it was a very good day. thank you!!!
An outstanding day with our tour guide, So, and driver, Trob! You are never quite sure when you sign up for a ‘local’ day trip whether or not it’s going to be a success. Well, this day significantly surpassed expectations. So, the name of our guide, was a terrific communicator and shared his passion for and knowledge of Cambodian history and culture in a most engaging way. We were a group of 6 tourists - 2 Brits, 2 French and 2 Germans - and it made a huge difference in that we all got on well. We were able to combine finding out about Cambodian temples, and historical and geographical features along with finding out about one another. So and Trob looked after us incredibly well and the whole experience was first class. We also covered over 8 km of walking on the day, so got our steps in. In short, a great day out and thanks to So & Trob!
We had an amazing full day tour covering Beng Mealea, Kulen Mountain and Benteay Srei. Our guide , So, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us insight into the history behind all the sites we visited as well as helping us to understand the more complex background to Cambodia’s development. Extra touches of tasting local foods, including Palm cake added to the experience. Thanks to driver Trob for expertly navigating the roads an traffic. This was a busy day but well worth the drive. We would highly recommend this tour and company!
Had a great day out (private tour) with our guide Tann. Arrived on time, spoke great English, understood the pace we wanted to go at in each place with a nice lunch in middle. Nice car with great AC, cold water and towels. Would highly recommend.
Our driver, Trob, was very nice. He gave us water and cool towels throughout the day. Our tour guide, So, took lots of photos but had a tendency to leave us behind even though there were only 4 people total. When we caught up with the tour guide each time, he was usually already talking and explaining what we were supposed to be looking at and as a result we missed a lot of information over the course of the day. We enjoyed visiting the waterfall.
We had an amazing experience on this tour. Our tour leader SO and driver Mr Trob were awesome - Mr Trob organised cold towels for everyone throughout the day, and bought us all red bananas to try. SO was very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the temples, religion and the culture. We weren’t rushed and we had lots of time to take pictures. This tour is a must do for those who want to get out of Siem Reap, see some of the lesser known but amazing temples and spend time in nature. Highly recommend!
Great experience with our guide So and our driver Trob. Along with my wife and five of our children (ages 10 to 17), we had a wonderful time. So shared his vast knowledge of history as well as Buddhist and Hindu culture and stories. Well worth it to use a local guide to support the economy of a country that has faced many struggles.
