The early 4:30 AM start was absolutely worth it. Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat from the bike was stunning — one of those moments you don't forget. Our guide Soun, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the history come alive throughout the tour. The trails were more challenging than I expected, but in the best way — it added a real sense of adventure to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see Angkor differently and isn't afraid of a little workout. 10/10 would do it again

Itinerary
Join us for an unforgettable morning exploring Angkor, Cambodia’s most important and impressive collection of temples! The day begins before sunrise, with a hotel pick-up and a short transfer to Angkor Wat.
As dawn breaks, the temple’s lotus-shaped towers slowly appear in silhouette against the sky. Later on, your guide will lead you through the galleries and courtyards, sharing the history of this 12th-century masterpiece built by the Khmer Empire and dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.
After exploring Angkor Wat in the soft morning light, continue to a quiet area within the Angkor complex for one of the highlights of the tour: a chef-prepared jungle breakfast. Set up privately for Discova guests, this picnic is freshly cooked and served in a calm, natural setting surrounded by the sounds of the morning. We use this stop to slow down a little bit, relax, and enjoy a proper meal before continuing the day’s discoveries.
Once breakfast is finished, begin your bike adventures along gentle park roads and shaded paths that link the most remarkable temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park. Our routes are carefully planned to avoid heavy traffic and to show a side of Angkor many visitors miss. Ride through ancient gateways and quiet sections of forest before arriving at the striking Bayon Temple, the centrepiece of the once-great city of Angkor Thom. Its fifty-four towers are carved with more than two hundred serene stone faces, each believed to represent either King Jayavarman VII or the compassionate Buddha Avalokiteshvara, watching over the ancient capital.
From there, continue to Ta Prohm, often called the “Tomb Raider Temple.” Here, massive silk-cotton and strangler-fig trees have taken root in the crumbling walls, their roots twisting through doorways and stone corridors. The blend of architecture and nature gives Ta Prohm its unmistakable, atmospheric beauty and makes it one of the most photographed sites in Angkor.
Throughout the tour, your Discova guide shares fascinating stories about the architecture, symbolism, and the people who once lived here. Vehicle support is available whenever you prefer to rest, and plenty of water and snacks are included. The ride ends around midday, returning you to Siem Reap with both a sense of adventure and a deeper connection to Cambodia’s incredible heritage.

Sorphorn from discover tours was a fantastic tour guide, very informative and happy to help and assist with our kids. The day ran smoothly from sunrise to lunch time. We highly recommend a tour with Sorphorn.
We did the Angkor Sunrise Discovery Tour with tour guide Chen. This tour was by cycle with stops at various temples and also food stops. Chen was an amazing guide and full of knowledge on all the temples. We enjoyed his company and would recommend him and also Discova Tours who organised this tour
We would highly recommend this tour as an amazing way to see Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Phrom!! Our guide Chen was outstanding, and we learned so much about Khmer history and culture. Despite the heat, the bike ride was cool and the terrain easily manageable for novice riders.
Our Tour Guide Ben was a lovely young man. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the temples and hazardous areas of the biking path. He was there also very easy to chat with and we learned a lot just about a young person‘s Cambodian life. Because it was only the two of us, had already seen some temples and we are in our mid 60s, we were able to tailor the experience a bit so that we could spend more time in places we wanted to and get out of the sun when we needed to. Our driver, Mr Toch, made us feel very safe in our Tuk Tuk, was always where we needed him, and made us beautiful fresh fruit for our break. It was also very nice to be able to choose off the menu for lunch rather than one of those horrible buffet lunches with some other tour operators. All in all a long, but good day !
Chen was an amazing tour guide; really kind, funny and knowledgeable. The temples were stunning and the snacks, meals and water top-ups made me feel very looked after. The cycling was more challenging than I expected but doable and really glad I chose this tour. Would recommend Chen to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
My husband and I try to do a bike tour in almost every country we visit. However, I am not really a comfortable bike rider otherwise (we live in NYC, my husband will bike, I do not). So I really don't go biking that often. That being said, this was one of the more challenging bike experiences we've done but I still enjoyed it, would do it again, and would definitely recommend it! First, our guide Sunchen was phenomenal. He was so kind, so accommodating, and was just a pleasure to spend an entire day with. He went at a great pace, and knew so much about the sites we saw. At one point I lost my sunglasses and he went back (it was quicker for him than for me or my husband) and found them so quickly when it would've taken me so long. He was so great to speak with and we really enjoyed speaking with him about his life and experiences. The bikes are in great condition. First, he led us to a great spot for the sunrise at Angkor Wat. We actually ended up being the only two people on this tour! So it was a private tour for us, which is amazing. Either way I'm sure he could've handled a larger group. After Angkor Wat we went and had an amazing private breakfast with a private chef making omelettes, toast, fresh coffee/juice. Then we headed on our way. Most of the paths are very easy and flat. Some of it is a little more tricky but, again, I was able to manage. At one point it did start downpouring (we went during rainy season) and Sunchen was able to navigate us around the super flooded parts. We had done two days of tuktuks and not only did Sunchen skip parts we already saw so we could spend more time at newer (to us) sites, but he also took us along the back roads/bike paths that you couldn't go on tuktuk or simply walking. We saw some incredible sites we could not have seen without this tour and it was such a cool way to see everything. We met up with our driver a few times for snacks and breaks, and just had a great tour overall. If you're not horrible on a bike and not afraid to get a little dirty (and I wore white linen pants so you'll be fine!), you should absolutely do this tour.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise Angkor Wat bike tour with Bunvath and POV - it was a great day out and fabulous way of getting around the temple precinct. Tracks were well shaded and bikes in excellent condition. Bunvath was a wealth of insight and information during the tour. Food included with the tour was abundant and exceptional ! Highly recommend!
A vibrant assault on the senses! Pub Street pulsates with music, street vendors, and flashing lights. Sample exotic cocktails, enjoy live music, and soak up the energetic atmosphere. Be prepared for crowds and bargaining!
What a memorable day trip. We had a great tour guide called Muen. He was very knowledgeable could answer any questions and spoke great English. I am not an experienced bike rider but could handle the ride. The breakfast and lunch was great. Muen made the whole tour so much fun with his fun personality and his great photography skills. Great way to see the temples.
We got to watch the sunrise over a Ankor Wat temple before heading off to a local village for breakfast and pick up our bikes. We rode to 2 temples on bush tracks past lots of local villagers homes. The paths are sandy and a bit slippery so if you’re not confident it will be a bit of a challenge. It’s all mostly flat and the trees give you shade. Lots of break stops for water and fruit. Our guide Sambo was wonderful and very passionate about the temples we visited. The local lunch on the way home was very good quality.
The guide from Grasshopper tours, esp Bun Bath, was awesome! Super knowledgeable and knew the best spots to take pictures. Also taking a bicycle tour allowed us to see so much in so little time. This was an amazing tour, and I felt like it was also an amazing value. There was SO MUCH FOOD provided for you. Breakfast isn't until around 0700, but after that there's snack time around 1000 and then lunch time around 1200. The food was all so authentic and local and good. At Angkor Wat, you are likely to only go here once in your life, get a great guide like this tour comes with and make the most of it.
Fantastic tour - very professionally run in all aspects. I was picked up from the hotel and driven to Angkor Wat where our guide for the day, Bunvath, secured for us an excellent position to see the sunrise over the temple. Throughout the tour he knew all the best places to be at the right time and takes a great photo too! I didn’t need to take selfies at all. We had good quality bikes, well maintained and the cycling between sites was straightforward and easy going. Breakfast and lunch were excellent, plenty of cold water was provided throughout the day and the whole day went very smoothly. Bunvath is a very informative guide and cares for his guests attentively which makes for an enjoyable experience.
This 8-hour adventure was the highlight of our Cambodia trip and a memory for life. We were greeted by our guide Sopat and our driver at our hotel at 4:30 am and went straight to Angkor Wat to claim a good spot to sit and wait for the sunrise. Sopat had stopped by a bakery and picked up some freshly baked pain chocolate for us to munch on while we waited - a lovely surprise. We then got an early start to see the main temple and learn all about the history from Sopat, who was a wealth of knowledge. After that, time for a tasty breakfast in a local village, a nice spread with freshly fried eggs, fresh fruits and everything else one could ask for. We then hopped on our bikes and set off on a mix of roads, paved bike paths and sandy dirt paths through the jungle. We made lots of stops at various palsves and other sights, each narrated by our very knowledgeable guide. We even got to bike on the ”great wall of Angkor”. Our driver met up regularly duting the tour and topped up our water bottles, provided cold towels so we could freshen. After an action-packed day we finished off with a delicious lunch and cold beer at another local restaurant. We were dropped off at our hotel happy, tired and full of both food and new impressions. We strongly recommend this tour and Sopat if you want to truly experience Angkor Wat.
One of our favorite activities of our 3 week trip to SE Asia! Our guide was wonderful. Bikes were in great condition. We loved the adventure of riding through the jungle on a flat, easy single-track between sites. The food and people were amazing. if you like a day of both walking (around the sites) and biking, do it!
What a tour! Rambo Sambo was the BEST, most informed host and all round lovely guy. He knew all the best spots for pics too. The tour itself was great, very informative, and a lot to see, also so great bring in bikes and getting the ‘alternative’ tour that others don’t see. It was hot(!) but we were kept well hydrated and fed. Great quality of bike as well, new and well maintained. Highly recommend!
Excellent trip, that lasted about 11 hours in total. Our guide Mr Sambu (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) was wonderful, so cheerful, and knowledgeable, and he know all the best spots for a photo. The temples are very interesting and the history of Cambodia rich and diverse. The bikes are new and well kept, but a definite level of fitness is needed. The breakfast, snacks and lunch delicious. A Great day.
We booked the 4.30am sunrise mountain bike tour with Grasshopper Adventures. Our guide was very knowledgeable, articulate and funny. He knew the right spot to wait for the sunrise and how to miss certain peak times @ temples to ensure the best viewing & photo opportunities. A brilliant way to see the temples on a bike winding through the forest (ahh the shade it gives). We are both casual bike riders (not mountain bikes) so we found the 23km easy & enjoyable, with stops for breakfast, lunch (delicious - take recommendations from guide) and fruit snack along with stops @ all temples.
Seeing Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and many of the other temples is an exhilarating experience. But is such an experience when you have a tour guide as knowledgeable and passionate as Bunvath. I couldn’t have asked for more. It was a great mix of cycling around the temples and some of the more remote areas as well as an incredible history lesson. Bunvath is worth his weight in gold. The food I enjoyed on the tour was outstanding. This would be one of the best tours I have ever been on. I highly recommend coming to Siem Reap and if you do Grasshopper Adventures are brilliant. See if Bunvath is available because he is one of a kind.
My husband and I very much enjoyed this tour. Chen, our guide, did a great job guiding us around and we always knew what to expect. The sunrise portion of this was very crowded with tourists and it was cloudy so we did not see much of the sunrise over the temple but what we did see was very pretty. For those of you who may be wondering if you can do this tour, my answer is yes, you can. I am 66 and my husband is 67 and we did not have difficulty on this tour. We did run into some sand and some mud, but it all ended well. Chen did a great job warning us when we were coming up on something to avoid. If you can ride a bike, you can do this tour. Breakfast was good, lunch was good, and the bike ride portion was fun.
Brilliant! A fabulous day! Knowledgeable guide, new bikes (and well maintained), healthy breakfast, snacks and lunch at a local cafe. Riding through the jungles we saw the Siem Reap villages and the temples almost intimately, not as a tourist. The ride is not short but no problem for any reasonably fit adult. No hesitation in recommending or even doing the tour again!
We had an amazing tour with Muen! Pickup at the hotel was timely, a small bite offered on the way to Angkor Wat, Muen then found us the best spots to enjoy and take amazing pictures of the temple in the sunrise. He then guided us through the temple, before starting the bike ride after a very nice breakfast, riding through the jungle at a pace accommodating all levels, while going through memorable temples. We appreciated Muen’s knowledge and his great help with the pictures. Lunch was really nice too!
Our guide Sam Bo worked tirelessly to give us a superb experience. He found the right place to avoid the crowds and get a great sunrise view. He was hugely knowledgable about everything we saw and a friendly companion. The breakfast lunch and snacks were first rate and the bikes were well maintained. The forest paths were occasionally tricky - which made it all the more fun. I thoroughly recommend this experience.
This was the rare tour that delivered more than it promised! Our guide Sam Bo was superb - I can’t believe we covered so much ground and experienced so much in a single tour. When we arrived at Angkor Wat before dawn he checked whether we wanted to be inside the temple grounds with the crowds or outside with more of a view to ourselves - the latter - and found us the perfect spot to watch the sun rise and get great photographs. We then covered 16 miles cycling through forests, along the wooded walls of the Angkor Thom temple complex, past rice fields and through tiny villages, but with lovely meals and very welcome fruit snacks included. Bo knew a good deal of history and told it very well, from the big picture about the building of iconic Hindu and Buddhist temples, to the tiny and funny details from historic carvings. He also took care to show us great spots to take photos and to avoid the crowds as the day developed. I would say you need decent stamina and fitness to do this tour, but you will get more than your money’s worth and an astonishing collection of photographic memories to take away.
I highly recommend this trip, especially for solo travelers! Mr. Chen took really good care of us, we were only a small group of 3 people, and I enjoyed the cycling tour so much! It was the end of October and it was the rainy season in Siem Reap so there was no sunrise, BUT, watching the lightning against Angkor Wat was majestic. The weather was just right, it rained for a bit but no rain can stop us :) I've learned so much about the history of Siem Reap and even the current situation of the locals, thanks to our knowledgeable guide, Mr. Chen. Also, it was so lovely to get to share stories and experiences from different cultures with everyone in the group. We were all well-fed, with so much nutritious food from snacks, breakfast, to lunch. I didn't even finish my lunch because I was still full from eating fruits and the local snack at one of our stops (Bayon Temple).
Highly recommend this trip! We had a fantastic day with Pat. Picked up at our hotel and were able to stop on the way to Angkor Wat to purchase tickets. The temples are gorgeous and fascinating, and Pat's knowledge made it even more special as we learned the meaning behind many reliefs, structures, and the history of Angkor Wat. Pat told us stories of the epics depicted and made the experience so meaningful--no way we could have appreciated the temples on our own. Biking was incredibly fun through the jungle and roads of the old city. Meals and snacks were tasty and relaxed. This is a perfect tour for a mix of physical activity and history/cultural tourism. 100% recommend it to those who aren't interested in sitting in a tuk-tuk all day and getting off the beaten path to see these amazing temples!
This is a fantastic tour with the very knowledgeable guide Mr Chen. The sunrise was superb as was the breakfast that followed. The bike ride mostly through jungle to other sites was hard (and hot) but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We needed to take rest and water stops with Chen taking care of all our needs. Lunch was great. We have done this tour 6 years ago with grasshopper and this time was even better. We were very tired but happy at the end
Great experience. Our guide Chen was excellent, he provided us with lots of fascinating stories about temples as well as historic background. Bike tour was fun with a lot of nice views away from the touristic hot spots. Definitely would recommend this tour.
Was a wonderful day with Mr Chen, the cat whisperer a fantastic guide. We had a lovely time seeing Angkor Wat and surrounds via comfortable bikes and seeing parts of the countryside that normal travelers don’t see. Highly recommended. Lunch was fab too
I cannot say enough positive things about this tour. Sunrise at Angkor Wat was really cool, but seeing the other off-the-beaten path temples and mountain biking through the woods and countryside was even cooler. Some of the mountain biking was actually fairly technical and it was a great workout (we’re active people but beginner mountain bikers). Our guide, Muen, was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had, and shared tons of cool info about the temples, the surrounding area, and Cambodian history and culture. He was so great about taking tons of photos of us at the temples—we have more photos of the two of us from that day than the rest of our trip combined! Add in a cooked-to-order hot breakfast, feast-like restaurant lunch, and brand-new really nice mountain bikes and helmets, and it was the perfect day.
Nothing but positive things to say - from the get go, pick up was on time and easy got us to the Angkor Wat site in time to take in the sunrise. Mr Chen our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, happily answered all our questions and talked us through the rich and complex history of the various temples we visited. Will definitely recommend to any friends/family visiting the area.
This cycle trip was truly amazing. We were a little concerned about doing it because we booked in the hot season but we needn’t have worries. The route was incredibly well planned and shade was never far away. We were picked up in an air conditioned van from our hotel and on route were offered fresh pastries from the local bakery, made that morning. We were guided around the three most famous temples throughout the day. Angkor Watt for the sunrise (which was stunning and very special), Ta Prohm (of tomb raider fame) and the Bayon temple in Angkor Thom. Our tour guide Mr Chen was outstanding! He was a lovely guy who really took care of us and his knowledge and delivery of the temple and cultural history was exceptional. I can’t say enough about how good he was. He really made the day special. As it was the dry season it was just my wife and I on the tour so we really got a personalised experience. Breakfast was cooked for us after the Angkor Watt sunrise by an excellent (and very friendly) chef (omelette, toast, granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit) and for lunch at the end of the tour we stopped at a nice restaurant for a delicious and well earned meal (all included in the tour cost). I would highly recommend this as a very special way to see the temples for those who like a bit of outdoorsy fun!
This is a must do trip and a fantastic way to get away from all the tourists yet still visit some of the key temples and gates of the outstanding Angkor Wat. Our brilliant tour guide Muen escorted our small party of 8 (small enough to get to know each other for casual chat) around Angkor Wat starting with the sunrise and some awesome photo opportunities, a walk into the temple and then out for a very good quality jungle breakfast, on the really high quality mountain bikes along trails to take in more temples with stops every few kilometers. We covered about 20km in total for the full day. Our family of 5 includes kids aged 10, 12, & 14, and they had great fun. The weather was good (a little warm but Grasshopper tours had us well covered with water in addition to breakfast, fruit and final lunch break). I can’t think of a better way to have visited this well-maintained UNESCO world heritage site. Thanks again Murn.
Great tour for casual cyclists! Pat was an excellent guide taking us to Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon temples and giving us tours of each site. On a hot day we stopped frequently enough to fully rehydrate. Most of the riding was on trails through wooded areas and not on busy roads. I would certainly recommend this to my friends.
Großartig! Awsome! We are lucky to choose Grashoppers and we do have a perfect day. Sunrise of the tower if Angkor Wat, seeing the king and prime minister as we was there on 21th of March. A special day :) with a well educated, warm hearted guide - full of stories, always looking to give us a unique expierence in Cambodia. We had wonderful breakfast in the dungle, a competent driver and see all that amazing temples. As we see the olympic fire pass by… There is no better way to enjoy the area! Thank you Chen Suon! Andrea and Christian
We had a fantastic time on Angkor sunrise tour as part of our grasshopper Siem Reap and Angkor Explore extension. The day was so perfectly organised and we had nothing to worry about other than enjoying ourselves. Our tour guide Vuttha Dam was an excellent tour guide. So knowledgeable and easy to understand. Nothing was to much trouble. He answered every question we had. We were so impressed by his kindness. Riding between the temples was a great experience and we felt safe at all times. Our driver Le In who drove us as part of grasshopper on several of our tours as well as airport pick up and drop off was professional always on time with an exceptionally clean van. He always had a smile and a cold bottle of water for us. Our grasshopper experience has been exceptional
We had a LOVELY TIME! Picked up at around 430 am and then collected the rest of the group from their hotel. We got to Angkor Wat a good bit before sunrise and our great host Pat had brought croissants for the journey! Pat gave us a bunch of different good options for where to watch the sunrise, we watched from the reflection pool which was beautiful but was flippin CROWDED. Pat had heaps of info for us about the history of the three temples we were in and it was a good combo of free time to roam and time being guided/taught the history (via the incredible scultpures in the walls!) The cycling was super fun! A good pace where it was active but not hard. Oh! And there was a LUSH breakfast in a gazebo in the jungle before we started cycling but after Angkor Wat. The bridges with the Gods and demons was wicked and the final temple with all the trees growing together with it was really incredible! Just to say one more time, Pat was a host and a half! With heaps of interesting insight that made it really worth not just going it alone. Oh! And there was monkeys at the second temple!
My guide was Muen Tuy and he was just brilliant. I was alone, as no one joined this tour. The day befor I already made a tour through Angkor Wat, so Muen was so flexible that he changed the programm for me and we went to temples I haven't seen already. He is such a nice speaker, as I learned so mich about the history of cambodia. I am so imperessed about the people and understand the country now much better. Thank you for this awesome tour, Muen! I can highly recommend it to everyone :-)
This tour allows one to discover the Ankor Wat and surrounding temple complex in an intimate way where you get to bike through the jungle to explore 3 different temples. The guide Chen Suon was informative, kind, and fun. We got to see the sunrise rise above angkor wat and have a private tour around the temples. We had a beautiful breakfast in the jungle as well all set up by grasshopper adventures.
Amazing day spent cycling! If I could give this tour 10 out if 10 I would. My guide Chen was absolutely amazing, so kind and very informative. Go do this tour and ask for Chen!
What a wonderful day. An early start from our hotel out to the sprawling complex of Angkor Wat. Chen, our guide, and his team set us up to watch the sunrise over the temple spires. We then walked though the main complex before meeting our chef for a delicious breakfast. Then the cycling began. Though the city of Anglor Thom, temples, backroads, trails, and farms. A fantastic way to experience this unique wonder. Our guide was informative, safe on the bike, and a lot of fun.
Seeing Angkor Wat and the surrounding area by bike was an unforgettable experience. We spent several days in the area on bikes with a fabulous team of guides and drivers. Siya and David were knowledgable, competant guides, touring us around the many bike trails, telling us about the history of the area, making us laugh, catering to our needs and safety. Siya and David knew just where to take us to avoid crowds and take the best photos. The van support team, Siem and Bronch, were also wonderful and they all worked well together. We were able to see Angkor Wat at sunrise as well. Wish we could have spent more time with Siya and David and the team biking more of the countryside. We highly recommend the Siya team.
Our guide Muen was really great! He was super knowledgeable about the history of the area. He is also a biking pro. We would definitely request him in the future. The tour was also great, with stops for good food and fruit shakes along the way.
Super nice place at Cambodia, This ruins were from long long ago, if you remember the Disney movie the jungle book, then you must go, the place is exactly the human town, and the entire area will remains you your childhood
Our guide, Siya Pouv, and the driver, Socheat, were always there to cater for our needs throughout the trip. We joined the bike tour with our 10-year old. Siya always made sure the safety of my son on bike both on- and off-road throughout the trip. They (and our fellow very kind tour participant) were very patient and flexible throughout the trip. I would highly recommend Siya if any family with kids is considering to sign up for this bike tour. He was very knowledgeable about many possible bike routes in Angkor, and very knowledgeable about each site we visited. He shared with us history and culture along the way, and at each site, guided us to less crowded spots for better views and photos. We also enjoyed a delicious full breakfast in the forest and very tasty Khmer lunch in generous serving. Starting the tour in the early morning was also a great idea, as the cycling tour was all done before it got too hot to cycle. All bikes we rented were in great condition and the right fit in terms of size. Thank you so much, Grasshopper, Siya and Socheat, for the excellent tour!
The tour was amazing, all of it. Our tour guide Suon Chen was very professional and helped us understanding the history of Angkor and also Cambodia. The tour was well planned with plenty of time to visit the temples. The food and snacks were also really good and more than enought for the whole day. I recommend it 100%.
Early start... Was ferry by the guides' van to our starting point at Angkor Wat. Watch the spectacular sunrise & a delightful breakfast in the village. Western continental with a chef cooking your eggs! Then our bike ride started through village and lunch in the village. Easy bicycle ride and later, ferry by van to our lunch at a Cambodian restaurant. Delicious food! Our bike guides were very experience and friendly. Great day out! No rain was a bonus!
I'm so grateful that they come to my hotel to pick me up. Our guide, Phath, is professional and always knows our needs including safety. He has in-depth knowledge about the history of the historical sites. The mini van is clean and comfortable. The bikes are in good condition and smooth. The breakfast and lunch are delicious. This trip is amazing and I strongly recommend it.
Fantastic experience - by far the best way to see and travel around the spectacular temples, especially if you are lucky enough to have the amazing Chen as your guide. Extremely knowledgeable but with an easy, relaxed and very friendly manner - so we learnt a huge amount about the local history and culture but not in any way that felt formal or “recited”. Great cycling tour, all off road and impeccably planned and executed. Great breakfast! Thank you Grasshopper and Chen!
I loved the tour! If you like to bike, touring by bicycle is simply the best. This was a definite splurge for me, but other tours were comparably priced, and Siem Reap in general is very expensive for tours and activities (not for food and lodging). It was worth it - Grasshopper did everything professionally and beautifully - I felt downright pampered compared to my usual low budget travel life! Excellent breakfast, lunch, snacks. Excellent bikes well maintained. Excellent guide both for biking and temple touring, great English. Loved the jungle trails, the biking was very easy, the terrain flat and smooth, I could have enjoyed a bit more physical challenge - mileage or terrain, but it was 100 degrees so I couldn’t have handled it. The trails are shaded which was essential and welcome! The temple tours were great, saw the major ones, arrived via bike through via trails - really enjoyed it and can recommend the tour highly!
