It’s difficult to understate how awesome this guide is. We originally booked Panha in March 2025 for a two-day tour of Siem Reap, but ended up asking him to guide us on our entire 6-day tour of Cambodia, which included Battamnbang and Phnom Penh. In summary: • Panha is extremely reliable. He was never late. We always knew we could count on him. • He is an extremely safe driver. He drove efficiently but very safely. We always felt very comfortable. • Super nice luxury Lexus SUV. The cooler in back always had ice-cold beverages. AC and cell phone charging. It was such a comfortable way to tour his beautiful country. • Panha is very knowledgeable about Cambodia / Khmer history, both ancient as well as modern history. We also learned so much from him about Cambodian culture. • He strikes a great balance between teaching about Cambodian history and culture and giving us as guests quiet time to ourselves. For us this is a rare treasure to find in a guide. He was always there to teach us about culture and history, but also gave us time alone to explore the ruins on our own. We loved this balance. • We didn’t experience any problems during our stay in Cambodia. But we got the feeling that if there had been an issue, such as a medical problem, Panha would have been there for us. He really is MUCH more that a driver and a guide, he is someone to accompany you and look out for you during your stay.
Mr Panha was so helpful. He replied really fast and helped us prepare an excellent itinerary according to what we were interested in seeing during our time in cambodia. During the whole trip he showed us what to look out for, accommodated all our requests and was extremely flexible to any changes in our plans. Strongly recommend him.
The long-awaited Angkor Wat finally came true. It was my first time in Cambodia .I was impressed by the simple folk customs here. Everyone was very peaceful, and the girls spoke softly and are elegantly. For Angkor Wat, three days is just perfect. Our driver Panha was very nice, patiently answering questions and waiting throughout the trip.In mid-October rained almost every day. It stopped after a while, which basically did not affect our tour. The temperature was between 27-31 degrees, totally acceptable. Because we didn't see the sunset at Angkor Wat this time, I will definitely come again if I have the chance. Jessie
We booked Angkor Cab for a 1 day tour, as we had an optimized time schedule for our trip in Siem Reap. We loved the flexibility. With the input from our driver we determined the temples we would visit. We started with his personal favorite: Beng Mealea, located on an hour’s drive from Siem Reap. Wow, what a beautiful experience 🤩 Thank you for the great advice. The car was clean and comfortable. Our driver drove really safe, we had a pleasant conversation, no question was too much and he provided some water. He listened to what we wanted and provided some extra input. For lunch he advised a nice restaurant near Banteay Srei temple. We had a great day! Also for a 1 day tour, Angkor Cab delivers excellent service!
Ankor cab arranged the perfect 3 day exploration of the Ankor Wat and temples. We had a private Lexus just for our small family group. The car was always ready for us with the AC on and nice cold water. We enjoyed a detailed tour for 3 days with a very knowledgeable licensed guide. The guide knew where to get all the right photos and helped get family photos as well. We highly recommend this in depth tour of the temples. Well worth the price. I spent three days in Cambodia this August, everything is organized by Panha, he really thinks about every detail. The tour allowed us to see the most interesting and main attractions also according to our tastes as we communicated to the driver before departure. He deserves 5 stars because he takes care of everything and, being a very cultured and educated person, he speaks English well and during the trips he answered all our questions, both organizational and regarding their culture.

We are a group of 15 high school friends and wives, visiting Siem Reap for four days. We are all seniors, mostly retirees, having such reunion annually. We were looking for a vehicle that can take us around comfortably for the three days of site seeing and picking us at the airport and dropping us off there. The group consisted of people coming from Australia, Canada, US, UK, and Norway. After discussing our needs with a few drivers in Siem Reap, we decided to go with Panha. He was not the cheapest. He provided a minibus (supposed to be 25 seater) with driver. He also arranged a guide for three days. We got him to buy the tickets for all attractions and also for the Apsara performance with buffet dinner. Everything worked out fine, thanks to Panha’s professionalism. He would meet us at 6:00 pm on the previous evening to discuss the plans for the following day and remained in contact 24/7. In hindsight, I wish we paid a bit more and had a larger bus which may have been more comfortable. Panha speaks excellent English and writes well too. With a pleasant smile on his dial all the time, he was quite flexible and understanding. When paying him in US$ notes, make sure the notes are clean, without any marks or folds. We got into trouble😂. I strongly recommend his services.
Beyond Excellent!!! Three magic days with Panha Ngoun where we saw and learned more about the historic sites as well as the contemporary societies than we ever expected. Panha is a living encyclopedia with a pleasant personality and outstanding driving skills. We got more than a tourguide but a friend we stil are in contact with and look forward to meet again and introduce to others.
Tour guide and his friend Udom guided me and my boyfriend for a 3 days tour, visited 3 temples a day and they suggested a lot of possibilities to us. They have let us know a lot of Cambodia history and current situation, they did more than just driving us around. They speaks well English, we spend our time in the temples ourselves and we always have good chat in the car, know a lot more about what we have seen. Its a good balance. And Udom always took us to nice place for lunch (good balance of local and also presentable with local taste of food) and prepare cold water for us! Both of them have a clean, neat and tidy car, we almost over estimate how strong we are, its comfortable and it's what you need after climbing up temples under the big sun!
If you’re looking for a driver in Siem Reap I highly recommend Ngoun. We were a group of 4, he picked us up from the airport in a comfortable van with great AC, which I recommend having if you travel during the warm season. We had plenty of room and I think you could probably fit 6 or 7 ppl if needed. Ngoun spoke great English so it was very easy to communicate with him and he was available for all our trips we wanted to go on. He has great recommendations on day trip and local restaurants and took us all around Angkor Wat. His prices are probably the best in town. We used WhatsApp to contact him daily to schedule trips. Highly recommend Ngoun as a driver.
We were able to visit cambodia in July 2019. For me and my friend it was the first time in this beautiful country. We didn't make plans for a tour before our arrival there, but we were very lucky to meet Panha dircetly at the airport. He offered his private tour "off the beaten track" to us and we booked this tour immediately. On the next day he picked us up very early in the morning, so we had a chance to enjoy the visit of Angkor Wat and other beautiful and historically interesting places, tombs and temples all on our own - which means - no other tourists! We had plenty of time to spend at the temples and were able to take great pictures of the environment with no other people on them :-) If you have the chance to visit a temple all alone you are able to inhale and feel almost forgotten centuries. He also took us to places off the "normal an famous tourist tours" - which was a great expierience. Panha answered all of our questions - about the culture, the history of combodia and the people. Panhas english is excellent, which made the communication very easy :-) I would recommend to book tours with Panha before your arrival to make sure you get the most amazing time in cambodia. We were very lucky to meet him at the airport, but the next time, we will book in advance to make sure, that we will spend a great, interesting time in cambodia again :-)
A perfect way to experience Cambodia. Everything about our 3 day adventure was spectacular. We visited a range of temples in a very comfortable mini van, all costs were included in price so nothing for us to do but sit back and enjoy the beauty of Cambodia. Our tour guide and owner of Angkor Cab, Panha was the most generous man you could meet. He welcomed us like family, was knowledgeable and passionate about his country and took us to many amazing sites and restaurants. We even had the privilege of joining his family for New Years celebrations at Angkor Tom, an experience we will always treasure. Please, please if you visit Cambodia use Angkor Cab and Panha as you will not be disappointed.
We were in Cambodia in January 2025. Mr Panha picked us up from airport and drove us to Seam Reap to the hotel. He asked us what plans we had. We wanted to see 2 days temple and 1 day to Tonle Sap. He offered to take over the rides. Already on the way we organized everything. We wanted to do the temple tours with the tuk tuk. He recommended us a friend for that. The tuk tuk stood in front of the hotel 2 days punctually at 9:00 am. The driver very nice, a good driver and it was 2 very pleasant days. I also wanted to go to the Tonle Sap with the tuk tuk, but Herr Panha advised us against that, because the road is extremely dusty. And he was absolutely right. Thank you. He drove us to Tonle Sap and organized the boat trip on Tonle Sap. It was a very nice trip. He answered our questions about the country and people and it was also a successful day. On the last day he was very early in front of our hotel and got us to the airport on time. We can only recommend him. Price was all right. And don't forget, please tip. Cambodia is a poor country, and we don't hurt by tipping a few euros. Have fun in Cambodia.
I was driven by the driver from the airport to my hotel. During this time he had really good information and tips for us. So I hired him for the next day to take me to Kbal Spean. Also wanted to go to the waterfall and temple Beng Malea. Kindly explained to me that this program would very likely be too strenuous. He was absolutely right. I then left the waterfall out. The driver has a very friendly, reserved manner and a lot of knowledge about country and people. I felt very well looked after and would love to book him again and again.
