The tour was really great! Mr. Thom San was really knowledgeable about all the temples and their history. I booked this tour because I didn't have time for the other long 2-day tours available and I feel like I still saw a lot of things and learned a lot. He also knows the best places and angles to take pictures from! He's also just a very nice and friendly guide. Would book another activity with him again!

Thom was extremely knowledgeable, professional and attentive. I couldn't recommend him more. The transportation was also very comfortable.
Thom was a great and knowledgeable guide with good English, took us to all the main sites. Stop for lunch wasn’t even bad which is rare on guided tours. AC van, lots of water.
What an absolutely amazing experience we had visiting Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. We had the best guide ever who’s name is Sunleang Seng. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about everything and we learnt so much. We got picked up from our hotel by our driver Sophat and taken straight to the temples. We visited during rainy season but managed to have sunshine all day right up until the end of the tour it was magical. This is definitely a once in a life time tour and I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you again Sunleang and Sophat for making our trip unforgettable. :)
Relaxed is the pace..Detailed explanation by the guide.. monuments are awe inspiring and seeped in culture and history
First experience in Cambodia, and I am more than satisfied. My private guide gave me the real Siemens reap experience, with the best spots to see, all the history behind, is a great photographer, I had delicious genuine food dishes, at my very own pace. Such a VIP experience!!!! Thank you so much
This is the first time we visited Angkor Wat ruins. Thanks to Thom-san who's very friendly, having deep knowledge of the ruins as a guide, we learned a lot of things not only about ruins but also Cambodia through the tour. He also helped us taking a lot of beautiful pictures.
This was my second time using Travel to Inspire for this same tour. We were picked up promptly and headed to Angkor Wat. Our guide was very knowledgeable, easy to be around, and took many photos for us. He knew the best spots for a perfect picture. Our driver was very attentive, providing us with a cold cloth and water each time we came back to the vehicle. We stopped for lunch with locals at a roadside bbq where we selected our meat for cooking. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. You can even customize as you go!
We recently had the pleasure of a private tour with A tour guide from this company Did some research and this seemed like a good fit for what we wanted to see the temples From the moment we met our guide Tom San I was sure it was going to be a special and memorable day, and it certainly was Not only is he extremely professional and knowledgeable, but also just an amazing human being The thing I liked most was his passion for his story telling Usually I feel like the guide we have chosen recites the information they have memorized But with Tom he obviously loves to share the stories And give you real life examples to compare to I felt like I could actually see the paintings on the walls, see the elephants and the timber ceiling as he was talking I’m still thinking about things he said a day later Nothing was rushed and the day was timed out flawlessly If you are ever in Siem Reap and want a excellent guided tour I cannot recommend Tom San enough You will have and awesome day
Excellent tour! Our guide, Thom San, was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was well paced and Thom San was able to answer all the different questions we had. Highly recommended!
Great day and well organised tour! We visited 3 different temples where my guide Thom San shared great knowledge on their history and showed me the best places to get the perfect picture. I learnt so much and had a really enjoyable day 100% recommend this tour
This company is amazing. My wonderful tour guide Thom was already waiting at my hotel lobby at 8:30 am to start our trip, we started at Angkor Wat, then Ta Prohm and finishing with Bayon. Thom was very knowledgeable of all the history, and best places to take the most amazing pictures, (please see pictures below) Our transportation was great by Tuk Tuk which I loved because we had the opportunity to be directly in nature and breathe the fresh air of the jungle and also since there was no other people for the tour we got a private guide just for us. We were provided with cold water bottle all the time (which is important with this heat). We were also taken to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. I couldn't select a better way to see these temples. Thank you Thom for the wonderful time and your company, always smiling and with the best attitude. I hope to come back to Siem Reap and use your kind and excellent services again. The temples were out of this world!
We visited early in the morning before it became too crowded or hot. We had an extremely good guide who managed to keep us away from too many people. The whole experience of our visit was very special and quite moving in its way.
We had a wonderful tour guide Ms Sot Ra ( Sara) for a private group visit . Our frienfds were extremely happy with the detailed, passionate and interesting account from the Cambodian history from the early days to modern day Cambodia. She is extremely knowledgeable and shared the proud history of her country. We were deeply inspired and had learnt so much in a day of the glory of Cambodiaand the struggles of the Cambodian people. She is very considerate as we had friends from 11 years to 70+ years. The tour was conducted in English and she had a good command of it. We highly recommend her to visitors to Cambodia who like to know the history from Cambodian people. We will definitely recommend her to ur friends and relative. We are a group of tourist from SINGAPORE and she made our day. Some of use has visited these holy places but did not know as much before. Wish all the success and victories to Cambodia and your wonderful heritage that you own.
We lucked out and it was just my family of 3 in our group with our guide Tom. Tom and his driver were great! He speaks very good English, is passionate about the culture and is very knowledgeable and easy going. Having grown up with monks, he has extensive historical knowledge. He was very open to our questions, answering candidly. Between temples whenever we hopped back in the van, the driver had ice cold water bottles ready and lemongrass scented cold towels for us to cool down. Very nice touch. When we stopped for lunch, it was in an air conditioned restaurant so that was nice as well. Tom and the driver stayed at the van and gave us an hour in the restaurant. We very much appreciated that Tom took us in to Angkor Wat from the back side to avoid the crowds at the front. We casually walked through the tour, stopped for ideal picture opportunities, moved away from crowds when possible and he shortened some of his story telling to accommodate for our 6yr old's shorter attention span. If you want all the detailed background stories, Tom is the one to give it to you in full with a big smile. For me, at some points my son and husband would start to get a little antsy and so Tom would pick up on that and move on or allow a small break to sit and rest. Although we didn't have time per our short stay in Cambodia, it was nice that he recommended a unique cultural dinner restaurant nearby and offered to help book the reservation for us. A separate tour of Tonle Sap was also an option but again, we didn't have time for it. One point of clarification- before the tour when I read the voucher it stated that the voucher is not your ticket and that the ticket needs to be picked up at a location prior to the tour. That is true as you do have to purchase the ticket separately from the tour package. I wasn't sure if I had to find a ride to pick up the ticket myself but to be clear, he takes you to the place to purchase the ticket before heading to the temples and assists you at the window where you just have to pay the fee ($37 USD per adult). We had our 6yr old with us so we had to have a copy of his passport picture (he said a picture of his passport page on our phone would suffice). No one asked for it but we had a copy with us just in case. At the end of the tour, he asked us if it was okay to make a stop at a store and that no pressure to buy but that that he would get entered into a raffle for us visiting. We obliged and I did buy a scarf.
A very knowledgeable guide with excellent English. Was happy to answer all questions. Interesting and informative. Highly recommend 😊
Thom looked after our school group of 23 on a sunrise to sunset tour. He was very knowledgeable on all the sights and explained it in an interesting and meaningful way for the 16 and 17 year old students. It was a fantastic day.
Mr. Thom was an excellent tour guide! He was very helpful and knowledgeable about each temple we went to. Also, he would tell stories with emotion and passion which made them more intriguing. In addition to the tour, Mr. Thom mentioned a dinner and cultural dance show at the Amazon Angkor Restaurant. My mom and I were interested and he made a reservation for us. We’re glad we did because it was entertaining and had tasty food! Also, our seats were at the front which made the experience more memorable! Thanks, Mr. Thom!
I cannot say enough about Thom and his tour to Angor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm. Not only is this tour a must do if you come to Siem Reap, but Thom also adds so much insight to the experience. It was a pleasure meeting you Thom! Thanks for sharing your part of the world with us.
No one else was scheduled for that day, so I had a great tour with Thom. He spent as much time as I wanted at the various sites, and we had time for a nice lunch. Pick-up and drop-off at the hotel made it convenient for me. Thom was very knowledgeable about the temples and Cambodian history and culture as well.
We got a very exciting tour with our excellent tour guide Thom. He was very knowledgeable and we learned so much from him. No dull moment. Truly an excellent guide.
Thanks to our guide Thom, it was a journey into Khmer culture and history, with tons of knowledge and smiles at all the times. Will definetely recommend to everyone. Add a visit to Lotus farms and old market by bike, to enrich your Cambodia breathing.
We spent a whole day with Thom who took us to see Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm Temple. We spent about three hours exploring Angkor Wat to start with, which was incredible. If you are a keen photographer Thom is excellent as he knows where all the best spots are for photos. He was also really helpful with taking photos for us and sending them through after the tour. Thom is full of knowledge about the Wat and the intricate stories held within - my husband and I would definitely recommend visiting the temples with Thom as he can teach you all about the history of the buildings and carvings. We hope to see Thom again for our next visit in Cambodia! Thank you Thom!!!
Thom was the best tour guide I have ever had. He taught me so much about the history of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm, and more. If you are seeking a tour where you: - Want to Learn about what you are seeing - Want to go a bit off the beaten path and avoid large crowds - Want to know where the best places are to take photos - Want am affordable tour Then, you need to book your Siem Reap tours with Thom at Travel to Inspire. Thom’s English is very good, and It is obvious how much he enjoys his business. I enjoyed my day so much, that I’m taking a tour tomorrow with Travel to Inspire!
It has been an incredible tour. Great professional, he knew the entire history of the temples and the best places to take photos. A lot of flexibility when it comes to making stops to take photos or to delve deeper into the history of the place. The best guide we have had on our trip.
Een bevlogen en kundige gids en een tuk tuk driver die telkens met een flesje water voor ons klaarstond
Sothy is a very good guide who knows a lot about the temples and history of Cambodia. We had the guide to ourselves today and he took all the time to answer all questions. He is very friendly. It is recommended to do this tour with Mr Sothy.
