Private Tour Angkor Wat

Rain was very responsive and helpful before our arrival in Siem Reap. I asked for a slightly bespoke trip given this was my third visit to Angkor. Based on this Rain tailored our visit to some of the quieter temples away for the crowds. Very knowledgeable and super helpful, he made our trip informative and hassle free. Our tour guide Mr Art was a humble man , which suited our needs perfectly , my wife and I have previously visited Angkor watt before however found Mr Art was full of new historical facts that we hadn't leant before on other tours also his photography was 100% amazing absolutlu stunning and picture perfect ❤️ knowing the right places to take photos and the right time of day also , Mr Pat our driver was a wonderful driver very welcoming and always offering with cold scented towels on your return from a temple or walk , water and a new and reliable van with cold air conditioning

What a great day! I cannot begin to explain how amazing these sites are. Rain was a fantastic guide! He is helpful, very knowledgeable, and good company as well. He picks you up with a private driver at your hotel (stay at the Marriott or Sofitel) and takes you to Six separate complexes. This is the one day trip. Rain knew every story, timeline, and carving. We had an amazing 2 day temple tour with Rain. He was great at communicating, punctual, flexible, upbeat, friendly. accommodating, experienced, knowledgeable and helpful - everything you would want in a guide! We had amazing drivers too with comfortable A/C vehicles, ice water, and cold towels provided throughout the tours. We saw 8 incredible temples on our 2 day tour. The pacing of the days was perfect. We had the most incredible day exploring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with Chek and his driver Sopheak. From the moment we met, it was clear how much knowledge and pride he had in sharing Cambodia’s history and culture. He brought each temple to life with stories that made us feel like we were stepping back in time, yet he also knew just how to keep things light and engaging for the whole family. The pacing was perfect—enough time to soak in the grandeur of Angkor Wat, wander through the mysterious tree-root temples, and still pause for those quiet, magical moments without rushing. He knew the best spots for photos, (and took many great photos of our family) and just as importantly, when to skip the crowds. What really stood out was his kindness and genuine care. He made sure we were comfortable, always offering water breaks, checking in our daughter, and adapting the day to our energy levels. It felt more like traveling with a knowledgeable friend than a formal guide. I can’t recommend Chek highly enough if you want to experience the temples in a way that’s both deeply meaningful and truly enjoyable. We’ll remember this day forever.

The tour guide and driver were wonderful for us and our small children. They were accommodating of our pace and attentive to our need, providing water and cool clothes after every stop. The guide knew the best paths to avoid the crowds and still see the significant parts of each site. We felt well takes care of.

This was one of the best tour I have ever done! We had just one day in Siem Reap and wanted to make sure we cover all the main spots. We were coming in pretty late at night so didn't want to do the extremely early AM sunrise tours. (TBH, they are overcrowded and overrated) Rain arranged a pickup and drop off from the airport for us as well. Just reach out to him via WhatsApp. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable but has great English skills so we could even have conversations about life in Cambodia and not just learn about the temples. He is so thoughtful that he carried a cooler full of ice cold towels that were a life savers each time we got back into the car. Wow! Never experienced that before. We bought a post card but didn't have the time to mail it which he did for us after we left. So kind and thoughtful!

Had an amazing tour with Ran Seyha. Everything was easy from booking to being picked up until drop off. Ran was kind and incredibly knowledgeable about all the temples and the history of the area. He also helped make great memories for my 40th birthday. Took fantastic photos of me and my family which was a fun bonus. Me and my whole family would highly recommend doing this tour with Ran.

We absolutely loved the tour and our guide Bora was super. He's very informative, friendly, and a wonderful person. We were able to book on short notice and got to see all the sights. Lunch was at an authentic restaurant and was awesome. Wonderful experience all the way around!

Everything was amazing! We went to the major temples and several minor ones. Rain constantly gave us a history lesson about everything and answered our questions as well. The tour balances a good amount of walking with a comfortable riding situation. The lunch place was great too.

Great tour! I did the Angkor Wat Sunrise tour, as well as the Roluos Group and floating village. It was educational, fun and fulfilling. The vibes were always high and we even enjoyed local Cambodian food together on the way back from the floating villages, which was great. We had an amazing experience visiting Angkor Wat and the other temples around it. This is thanks to our guide Chek, who has been able to lead the way in a very smooth manner. His explanation were clear and interesting. He also advised us good Combodian food and made us understand more deeply his culture and history.

Jake was a great guide and listened to our needs and made the tour right for us. He had a lot of knowledge of the sites and the team had cold water and a really friendly tuktuk that was on hand to all the sites and home.

This was my third trip to Angkor Wat, and I elected to explore the secondary temples, avoiding the crowds at the big three. Rain came prepared with a satchel full of maps, folders and photos as well as a preplanned itinerary for the day. I had been to some of these but learned more from Rain, who also spoke at length at lunch on modern aspects of Cambodian life. I will be usi g his services in my next trip!

My girlfriend and i booked 2 tours with Rain. On the first day we visited angkor wat, angkor tom and the "tomb raider"-temple. On the second day we started very early (5 am) and watched the sun rise over angkor wat and then visited 5 more tempels in the same area. He knows ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING about all the tempels, the years, the gods, the kings, the carvings on the walls and also about cambodia itself, the wars, the cities, the education system and so on and so on... Rain is a walking encyclopedia i think ;) He also showed us all the great spots for nice fotos and took some really nice pics from us. We had 2 great days with him, his english is very good and he is a really nice guy! We couldn't have asked for more! 100% recommended! Thanks again for the nice tour my friend ;)

Chek was great, he told us all about the history of the Khmer empire, the dates when each temple was built and by whom. Also he informed us of the various stories been told on the wall carvings.

We took Rain’s one day tour on our first day in Siem Reap. As first visitors to Siem Reap, we visited Ta Prohm, Ankgkor wat and Bayon. He tells all kinds of stories and information behind the architecture and history and the three places were very satisfactory to fill a day. We were met with a very warm and friendly greeting from Kosal. The first day of our tour took in 5 of the main temples and we ended the day with sunset at Tonlé Sap Lake. We were very impressed with Kosals knowledge of Angkor and he pointed out things we would have overlooked He knew the times and shortcuts to avoid the large crowds and showed us his sense of humour and amazing photography skills with my iPhone. We are leaving with amazing photos. The second day took us to the Kulen mountains. We saw the reclining Buddha and the temple there and the amazing waterfalls. Kosal as a guide is amazing, as a person, he is a lovely young man, striving to achieve. Please book your tour with this company. They are certainly not the cheapest but you have an amazing experience which is well worth the money. Book now as they are getting very popular. We wish every success to Kosal. We had an amazing tour of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with Rain as our guide. He is very knowledgeable about all of the temples and it's detailed history. We did sunrise at Angkor Wat which was beautiful and a great way to start the day while it was still cool out....well, just not as hot. Having a guide like Rain is a must to really learn all about the history. He also took great pictures of my husband and I throughout our entire trip. He even gave us some tips for where to go the next day for sunset since we would be going without a guide that day. Thank you Rain for making our Cambodia trip one to remember!
