We booked a sunrise trip to Angkor Wat with Nguon (Lux). It was such a wonderful, informative and relaxing experience. He was very friendly and had a chill vibe. Nguon picked a great spot for the sunrise. It was quite beautiful and should not be missed. After the sunrise we visited several temples and sites within the Angkor Wat Archeological Park. Nguon was very knowledgeable about the temples, the architecture, the Khmer Empire and the influences of both Hinduism and Buddhism on the people and architecture. We had such a great time that we booked a trip to the Phnom Kulen National Park for the next day. Not only did he guide us through both sites with expertise, but he found great spots for photos and demonstrated two unique audio phenomena. Nquon and his driver were the best. We were well supplied with water and refreshing cold eucalyptus towels! If you are looking for a guide, Nguon is the person to book!

We had a fantastic Ankor Wat sunrise tour with Lux, including another 3 temple sites. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and he gave us the right amount of space to enjoy each site as well as take the BEST photos. I would absolutely recommend him for any tour you have in mind.

We took the tour with tour guide Chy and driver Mech. Chy was amazing with a deep passion and comprehensive knowledge of Angkor Wat and the temples. Chy explained the detailed carvings on the stone walls, the history of Cambodia ,the best way around the monuments and took great photos of the whole family - we would have been lost without him. Our car was luxurious and a wonderful respite from the heat between tours with Mech providing fresh cool towels and cold water after each visit. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, it is definitely worth getting up early to do, once in a lifetime experience.

We had an excellent private tour with Nguon and would highly recommend. Nguon is very knowledgeable and clearly proud of the sites around Angkor Wat so we really got a sense of how amazing the Khmer Empire was and the impressive structures that they built. The tour is very well paced and despite there being ~10k visitors for the equinox sunrise we didn't feel crowded or rushed at all. The added touches like stopping for a coffee before down, having cold towels and water in the car were really appreciated.

Ngoun our tour guide was amazing! We saw all of Angkor Wat and many of the amazing temples. Ngoun was friendly, professional, vast historical knowledge, generously shared about the people culture customs and language. Our Guide (Ngoun), the Tour, and experiences was a 10 out of 10 perfection!

Nak our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and explained the history of the temples very well, it was a long awaited trip for us, to see the temples, and with Naks help brought the temples to life,we had the best half day tour, with breakfast half way through at a restaurant that served food and drink.Long our driver was a very considerate and safe driver, greeting us always with cold flannels and water after each temple we had visited.

We had a wonderful guide named Nak. He was very knowledgeable about the history and gave a great tour. He was also a Monk for 10 year and was able to teach us about Buddhism. We homeschool our kids and this was a great lesson for them.

Angkhor Sunrise (although it was cloudy today) is an absolute must. My guide Nob was not only knowledgeable about the temple sites but his details on the Khmer empire and history of his people had me engaged over every one of the 10,341 steps we took together. I’m sure to be back and will again tour with Nob!

Such a wonderful experience. Lux knows everything you would want to know about the history, the religion, and the temples themselves. Lux and his driver, Koi, were incredible to my mom and I. With the heat and humidity of Cambodia, coming back to an air conditioned car with cold face towels and cold waters waiting for us was very pleasant. What a memorable and amazing private tour. There were so many highlights all thanks to Lux! He is so passionate and knowledgeable - he even showed me 'hidden' and random fun facts around the temples. Lux was patient and understanding of my limitation and did not take me thru the main 'crowds' and it made a huge difference. Would definitely recommend Lux as a guide!

Lux (aka Ngoun) is a fantastic guide! We did three tours with him and I highly recommend all of them: Angkor Watt sunrise tour Food tour at Siem Reap Floating village Lux has a lot of knowledge and helped us learn and understand a lot about the local culture and the history of Cambodia. We loved the Sunrise tour. The floating village is also a must! Lux speaks english fluently, was flexible to tailor the tours based on our needs and shared with us so much about Cambodia in just two days. He also takes great pictures :)

Took a private sunrise tour with our guide Jack and our driver Mr. Hong. Jack was very chatty and had great knowledge of all the temples and carvings we visited , explaining them in a way that was fun and easy to understand. Definitely recommended👍🏻 we saw and learned alot, and an 8 hour tour felt like it was over in half the time

Lux is a great guide with good English and great knowledge of the temples. He showed us how to avoid the crowds at sunrise and several things not in the guidebooks. The SUV and driver we very good as well.

We had a great 2 days with a local guide named Nguon Sominea also known as Lux. Can’t say enough good things about him. We spent Day 1 visiting several temples and he provided great details at each stop. Sunrise tour was early but absolutely worth it. On Day 2 we did a food tour in the evening which was very local and delicious. He even helped us out purchasing some very nice souvenirs. He is fun to be with, speaks great English, and very knowledgeable. You will love Siem Reap and highly recommend using Lux while there.

Lux was an amazing tour guide, and one of our favorites from our 3-week trip to SE Asia! Lux went above and beyond through and through!.. We chose to book a private tour, which was WELL WORTH IT! We began our day at 4:30 am when he picked us up from our hotel to take us to Angkor Wat. Although it was early, he was wide awake and began his enthusiastic education. He made sure we got an epic spot at the very front of the standing area to watch the sunrise behind the temple. When we arrived there were only a few other people there, and within 30 minutes the place was PACKED, people shoving their way, trying to get to the front where we were. He waited until we were ready to leave the sunset spot, and we were on our way! He's such an expert of the site, he knew exactly where to take us and had the most amazing information about so many small details that I'm sure get missed when you book a larger tour. It was like taking a masterclass, I swear! Lux even went so far as to ask one of the Angkor Wat workers to lend me their shirt so I could climb the steps to a sacred spot. Although I had a shawl to cover my shoulders and back, the man admitting people wouldn't let me in because the dress under my shawl didn't cover my shoulders. He was being a real stickler, and Lux graciously swooped in and orchestrated a way for me to be able to experience that part of the temple. After Angkor Wat, we hit up a couple other sites that were at the top of our list. Lux was just as knowledgeable everywhere we went! He planned the day to avoid crowds, and he did not disappoint. The breakfast/lunch spot was delicious, and we were able to try some really good local Cambodian food! I would recommend trying the Amok. Lux suggested it, and it was one of my favorite meals from our whole trip! We hit up one more spot after stopping for food, and then we were done for the day, giving us enough time to rest for a little bit before heading out on a sunset hot air balloon ride that Lux helped us plan. On the way back to the hotel he even took us to a Cambodian silk shop that we inquired about, since the silks sold close to Pub Street aren't typically Cambodian silks. As we write this review, we're not only reflecting on how wonderful the day of activities was, but also how accommodating Lux was, how much of an expert he is, and how personable he is as well! We not only learned about many many temples that day, but also about Cambodian culture and history, and he was also interested in us! We had some really wholesome and lovely conversations with Lux - we will never forget this experience. Oh!... Lux also took some really beautiful photographs of us at every site, all with amazing composition and lighting... he's just so so good at his job! We would not have received the same experience from anyone else! Thank you Lux, for everything!

Lux is a MUST HAVE tour guide!!!!I would give him 100 more ⭐️ if possible!!incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable and catered the whole trip to EXACTLY what we had dreamed of!!driver was also extremely friendly and helpful (I feel bad I forgot his name)but they were a dream team for this experience!we have had this trip planned from Honolulu for 3 years and today him/they truly made our dreams of this experience not only come true but exceed expectations!hope to make it back one day and if so he will definitely be one of the 1st we contact!Mahalo nui loa♥️

This was a great tour of the Angkor Complex. Our tour guide, Lux, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the history and archeology of the Kmer Empire and Angkor temples. The pacing and length of the tour was great and you visit several of the major temple complexes (Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm). We also stopped for lunch and the food at a local restaurant was very good. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Angkor Wat, especially for the history.

We spent two days with Lux (Nguon), with a city and food tour on the first day, and the temples tour on the second. Private tours with Lux in a very clean car. He was most informative and personable, sharing facts on Cambodia's history, how Siem Reap is now, and a wonderful introduction to Khmer Cuisine. On the temples tour, we got the best view of Angkor Wat for sunrise with a magical way in to the temple, you have to book this to enjoy the most of your trip. Lux was very accomodating to our questions and requests. The two days spent with him was the equivalent of spending time getting to know Siem Reap through a friend, not a guide. Highly recomment Lux for your next visit to Siem Reap.

A must do tour! Thanks to our guide Lux we had a perfect sunrise experience at Angkor Wat. Lux is very knowledgeable, reliable, speaks English well and gave us a lot of information about the temples. The driver drove safely.

Having Lux ad a guide was the best choice we could make, he has been working as a guide for a long time, he is very passionate and knowledgeable of the Cambodian history and culture, and his English is excellent. I would definitely recommend to have him a tour guide if you really want to have the best experience of the temples.

Lux (Ngoun) is the best guide! He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. He speaks English perfectly. He knew the places to go, the history of them, when to get there for the least tourist traffic, and the best spots for photos. We were THE FIRST ones at Angkor Wat which ensured the best spot for sunrise. We visited Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, Tonle Sap village, and Kulen National Park. It was a pleasure spending 2 days with Lux. He even gave us recommendations on where to eat, what else to do in Siem Reap as well as what to do in Phnom Pehn. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Book your days with Lux, you won’t regret it.

If you’re going to see the temples around Angkor Wat you’d be crazy to do it without Lux. He’s extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive, and he knows the patterns of tourists at the temples so well that we practically had the place to ourselves at times.

This was a wonderfully curated tour that covered all the beauty and splendor of SR. Lux was a thoughtful, engaging and knowledgeable guide who really understood the cultural significance and history of the temples. The SUV and driver were also fantastic. Overall, a wonderful 5 star experience and we'd gladly and unequivocally recommend Lux and his tours for any future (and returning) visitors to SR.

Our guide Lux was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and his English was perfect. He brought the two of us on a tour of of three of the temples, Angkor Wat, Ta Promh and Bayon temple, plus the Bayon gate. We were picked up at 4:45Am and got back to our hotel at 11:45am. My mum is at the age where steps and rough terrain can be a bit of a challenge and he was extremely patient, and willing to lend a hand for extra stability whenever required. He was also an excellent photographer taking snaps of us at all the popular spots. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
