From the very start, everything was seamless. I didn't even have to leave my hotel, I just waited in the lobby for a few minutes and the pickup arrived right on time. Our guide was excellent: genuinely knowledgeable about the mountain's history and culture, and just as importantly, warm and attentive the entire day. The moment we stepped off the bus at Kulen Mountain, I was hit with this incredible wave of cool, fresh air. It drizzled a bit during our visit, but that only added to the atmosphere and when our guide handed me an umbrella without a second thought, it was such a small but thoughtful touch that said a lot about the quality of the tour. The drive up was beautiful in itself lush green scenery, the earthy scent of the forest, cool breezes, and a glimpse of the striking Preah Ang Thom pagoda along the way. Our first real stop was the Amazing Cliff, and the view was jaw-dropping one of those moments where you just stop and take it all in. To top it off, the food served during the tour was absolutely delicious. Every part of this experience felt special. I'm already looking forward to going back. ★★★★★ Highly, highly recommend.
The excursion with Coco (guide) was a success ✅ After picking me up at the hotel and heading to the meeting point, we made a first stop to enjoy an incredible panoramic view of Phnom Kulen National Park, then we visited the River of a Thousand Lingas and the Reclining Buddha. We continued with a typical lunch and, to finish, we went into a magical place, the Kullen Waterfall, surrounded by vegetation, where we were able to enjoy a swim. In addition, Chenda was very approachable, kind and willing at all times to take photos and videos so that I can remember every moment
We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our Koulen Mountain tour with our guide, Heang. From the very beginning, Heang was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable while also sharing so much interesting information about the history, culture, and natural beauty of the area. Koulen Mountain is a beautiful place, and having a great guide made the experience even better. Heang knew the best places to visit and took his time to make sure we could properly enjoy each location instead of rushing through everything. We especially enjoyed exploring the waterfalls, the beautiful scenery, and learning more about the significance of the mountain. What really stood out was Heang's attitude. He was patient, helpful, and always happy to answer our questions. He also made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip and helped us get some fantastic photos. It felt much more like traveling with a knowledgeable local friend than simply taking a standard tour. If you are planning to visit Koulen Mountain, I highly recommend booking a tour with Heang. His knowledge, kindness, and enthusiasm made our day truly memorable. We would definitely choose him again on our next visit to Cambodia!
Save your money and book with a different company. Phnom Kulen is beautiful, but this specific operator is an unprepared, nickel-and-diming nightmare. The Unprepared Guide A guide can make or break a trip, and ours brought literally nothing to the table. He forgot umbrellas for a mountain trek and actually had to beg a rival tour company for wet wipes. You’re entirely on your own for basic gear, and he won’t even warn you that you need extra cash just to use the waterfall changing rooms. The Lunch Scam The company charges a $9 price difference for their "lunch included" package ($49 total), but then restricts you to one single entrée—no drinks, no appetizers, no family-style sharing like other reputable Siem Reap operators. When I pointed out that no dish on the menu costs $9, the guide hit me with absurd excuses via text: "It doesn’t mean lunch was $9... $49 is the tour package." "We include lunch because other companies do." "Petrol now is more expensive." They pocket your money, cap your food at cheap roadside noodles, and deliver zero service value. Verdict Visit Phnom Kulen, but do not book with this company. Other tour operators in Siem Reap offer better guides, transparent pricing, and actual hospitality for the exact same $49 price tag. This tour was a great way to end trip in Cambodia. Chout was my tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a few laughs together. I was alone but the group i was with were very friendly. The waterfall was very refreshing after walking around. It was busy but that did not matter.

An unpleasant incident took place when I arrived at a Pickup Point (Pub Hostel) designated by the tour Activity Provider “Angkor Wat Shared Tours” for a day trip to "Tour in Kulen Mountain Park Waterfall" As I was enquiring about my booking with the receptionist at the Pub Hostel, their Travel Expert Dara came out of a side room and, in a very loud voice, asked me, "Why do you come here?" He was furious and further added that "I sent you an email", and started an argument. I booked the tour a day earlier through Booking.com; my hotel was not in the list of hotels in their online booking form, nor was there any provision to enter the pickup address manually. Dara emailed me confirming the pickup, but he did not mention the name or address of my hotel. He also failed to contact me at my telephone number. In this environment of uncertainty, I decided to go to the Pub Hostel, where Dara got angry, disrespectful and aggressive. 1) He did not appreciate that I arrived at the pickup point on time, and that he did not have to worry about picking me up. 2) He was completely unapologetic for the inconvenience he caused. He underestimated me and his conduct completely ruined my day trip. Booking.com compensated me with a small amount of money but prevented me from writing a review on the Travel Expert of 'Angkor Wat Shared Tours'.

We had a wonderful tour with Sayon! He was an excellent guide, sharing fascinating insights about the Cambodian culture and the Kulen Mountain area. The views from Poeng Ta Kho were breathtaking, and visiting Preah Ang Thom (the Sleeping Buddha) was especially memorable thanks to Sayon’s thoughtful explanations of its history. We also loved exploring the waterfalls. One of the best parts was how kindly Sayon offered to take photos of us at every stop, making the day even more special. A nice break from our temple tours.

Our guide Heang brought us to visit the Kulen mountain and it was an amazing experience. He is very knowledgeable in the history and mythology of the area, and always has a smile on his face. The ride was very comfortable. Definitely recommend the tour and Heang as a guide!

Trip was a bit of a disaster. Drive to the mountains was fine, guide gave some somewhat incoherent history. Very busy because of new years, which of course wasn't the tours fault. The locations visited were quite interesting and cool. But no meeting points were given, just left to wander aimlessly hoping the guide would find you. Guide didn't check if lunch spot was open (it wasn't) so no lunch stops. Guide was trying his best but it was just chaotic.
I had an incredible inference. Mr John was an excellent tour guide and was very insightful. Knew a lot of history about the sight and the area. Well worth it.

One small improvment suggestion for the future would be to wait a few minutes after departure before diving in to explanations and talking so much, nobody was quite awake yet...
