After a fantastic first tour with Journey Cambodia doing the 2 day Angkor park tour, we booked with them again to see Kulen mountain. We had a fantastic tour with Chhay and our drive Rada. Chhay gave us lots of great information and went above and beyond to ensure we got the best out of our trip to Cambodia. Highly recommend booking a trip with Journey Cambodia!

Was beautiful to see the reclining Buddha and waterfall in the Koulen mountains. Bun was a great guide and told us a lot of history and Sambath was a great driver in a lovely air-conditioned van. With lots of cold water and cooling cloths.
Amazing place with blessings 🙏
First off, our tour guide Samneang was the absolute best. We said he's like "AI" because of how knowledgeable he is and in explaining the culture and background of Cambodia. We not only did the Khulen Tour but also a tour of Angkor Wat at sunrise and other temples nearby. The whole trip was private with my family and was very comfortable. The driver Naro was also amazing too. I have to give him credit as well and after each stop coming back to the van, we were greeted with cold bottles of ice water, AC, and cold towel too. Back to our tour... the whole day was well excuted and planned, never feeling rushed, we saw and learned so much with Sam as our tour guide. I knew from within a few hours of our first tour that I'd be requesting him again the next time I come back. He's genuinely kind and really wants you and your family to enjoy every bit of Cambodia. It seems silly to say but I never felt the need to ask questions because Sam was so thorough with the 2 day tour. Oh, I forgot to mention but everything was on time from picking us up in the morning to dropping us off. Smooth two day tour...I was sad to leave him but when I do return, I will most definitely be booking through Journey Cambodia with Samneang. Thank you so much for an amazing experience that I will remember forever.
We booked a private couple’s tour to Kulen Mountain and Banteay Srei, covering the Kulen Waterfall, Reclining Buddha, River of 1000 Lingas, the tropical forest, and Poeng TaKho (Takho Stone Shelters), and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience. We were incredibly happy to have Mr. Sopheap Rath as our guide and Mr. Nat as our driver. They were right on time for pickup, and the vehicle was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Mr. Sopheap truly stood out—not only for his deep knowledge of Cambodian history and the sites we visited, but also for his thoughtful insights into local culture. What impressed us even more was his talent for photography. He knew exactly the best angles and spots at every location, helping us capture stunning photos effortlessly. He is calm, composed, and very considerate—never rushing us, never imposing timelines, and always giving us ample time to explore and enjoy each place at our own pace. His suggestions were spot on, making the entire day feel relaxed and perfectly balanced. I can highly recommend him without hesitation. Mr. Nat was equally wonderful—friendly, professional, and very patient. The refreshing cold towels and chilled water he provided at every stop were a real blessing in the heat and made the journey extremely comfortable. Everything was perfectly organized, from restroom breaks to lunch at a beautiful restaurant. Every location we visited was a marvel and absolutely worth the time. Thank you Journey Cambodia for an outstanding tour with such a friendly, knowledgeable, and photo-expert guide. This experience exceeded our expectations and will remain a highlight of our trip.
This is a tour that goes beyond the standard temple circuit in Siem Reap, and an absolutely amazing one to do. We spent an incredible day exploring Phnom Kulen and the Floating Village, and it was easily the highlight of our time in Cambodia. A great part of what made this day so special was our guide, Sopheaprath. He isn't just a guide; he’s a true historian. His depth of knowledge about the Khmer Empire and the "River of a Thousand Lingas" was mind-blowing. He told stories that made the history feel alive. If you appreciate the "why" behind what you’re seeing, you have to ask for him. Special mention to our driver Kea, who drove us comfortably while navigating the mountain terrains extremely well! Thank you Journey Cambodia Tours for the wonderful experience!
We loved our trip with tourguide Bun end driver Dara! Bun told so much about the history and surroundings. They were very helpful and patient with our 3 small kids, so we could take it easy and finetune the tour. Thank you for this wonderful day! One of our best in Cambodia:).
A daily guided tour to Phnom Kulen National Park and Prasat Beng Mealea with guide SOPHEAP (SO) and our driver VICHET. We were very happy with the service we received. Both were punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant throughout the day. The cultural and natural sites were truly impressive and highly recommended. Our guide SO was extremely helpful, answering all our questions and explaining the history and curiosities of these places with great clarity.
Amazing experience today with Journey Cambodia. So and Vichet took great care of us throughout the day and showed us around many wonderful places. Definitely recommended!!
The tour turned out to be a lot better than I had anticipated. The water was flowing strong so it was a bit difficult to see the 1000 lingas but still worth it. Overall a great experience. And our guide chayy was fantastic too
A two-day tour in Cambodia, guided by Sok Chea, provided a comprehensive journey through the Angkor temples and Kulen Mountain National Park. Angkor Temple Tour: Sok Chea demonstrated a deep understanding of the history and significance of the Angkor temples, offering insightful commentary and answering all questions. The tour included iconic Angkor Wat, as well as Ta Prohm and Bayon. Sok Chea's knowledge of the temples and their history enhanced the understanding of Cambodian culture and history. Comfort was ensured throughout the tour. Kulen Mountain Waterfall: The tour included a visit to Kulen Mountain National Park, known for its nature, landmarks, and the Kulen Waterfall. The area included the reclining Buddha at Wat Preah Ang Thom. The waterfall provided an opportunity to enjoy the region's natural beauty. Overall: Sok Chea's guidance made the two-day tour in Cambodia memorable. The experience was seamless and enjoyable. Sok Chea is highly recommended for anyone looking for a guide in Cambodia
The tour was very different with nature as centre point. Tour guide Mr Pal Saruon needs special mention for Tour Of Journey Cambodia..Thoroughly enjoyed. God bless.
We had a wonderful day with our guide Rom and driver Mr Lee. Rom generously shared his knowledge about each of the places we visited and brought it all to life. We were picked up promptly in a comfortable van with air con and supplied with water throughout the day. We visited four sites - a spectacular view of Kulen National Park, River of 1000 Lingas, giant Buddha and Kulen waterfalls. Rom was very knowledgeable about each site and it was, as he said, a great blend of both nature and culture. Highly recommended.
Our trip to Kulen Mountain, guided by Mr Vantha and driver Dara was absolutely incredible. The highlight was, of course, the majestic waterfall, but what made the experience truly special was our guide’s deep knowledge of the area’s history and natural beauty. He took us through lush trails, explaining the cultural significance of the sacred sites and pointing out unique flora and fauna along the way. The view of the waterfall was breathtaking, and Mr Vantha ensured we had the best spots for photos and even some quiet moments to soak in the scenery. Mr Vantha was not only professional and friendly but also went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and fully immersed in the experience. If you’re planning a trip to Kulen Mountain, I highly recommend Mr Vantha and driver Dara for an unforgettable adventure!
We had a great trip with our guide Mr Chhay. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything nicely. He patiently answered all our questions. He is philosophically inclined too. Will suggest him to our friends.
Chhay is very professional and knowledgeable tour guide. He has deep expertise in the tourist sites we visited - Kulen Mountain and the Angor Wat temple complexes. He knows the tricks of the trade and is very resourceful. He has had some incredible life experiences which are layered in his approach in how he engaged with us to make our trip even more memorable.
Bun was an amazing Guide. The Insights he gave us about the country we're fascinating and the scenery of kulen Mountain was awesome
Most amazing tour plan for families with lots of flexibility, best services and most awesome locations. Best guide and best company.
We spent an absolutely wonderful day visiting Mount Kulen (Kulen Mountain), and could not have wished for better travel companions than Sopheap Rath, our guide, and Vichet, our driver. Sopheap is an amazing guide. His passion for the history of Cambodia is contagious and his knowledge of the archaeological site and the sacred mountain is vast. He told us fascinating anecdotes about the River of a Thousand Lingas and the reclining Buddha, making Khmer culture alive and understandable. He was extremely helpful, answered all our thousands of questions and, no small thing, turned out to be an excellent photographer, helping us take beautiful group photos in front of the waterfall! Vichet was an impeccable professional. The road to Mount Kulen can be challenging, but with him we always felt safe. The vehicle was spotless, with perfect air conditioning (crucial in Cambodia!) and every time we returned from a walk he welcomed us with a big smile, fresh water and refreshing wipes. An attention to detail that really makes a difference after a day of exploration. The waterfall is breathtaking and bathing in its waters was the perfect way to regenerate. Despite the fact that we were at the end of December, the weather was ideal and the perfect organization allowed us to enjoy every moment without haste, despite the festive period. I highly recommend this team to anyone who wants to discover the true soul of Cambodia outside the usual Angkor circuits. If you are looking for professionalism, sympathy and a carefree day, ask for Sopheap and Vichet! Thank you again for making our trip with friends so special!
We had a nice tour of Mount Kulen, the falls and temple, with So. It's really beautiful. Excellent service.
Beautiful views and opportunity to get out of town. The fall is particularly spectacular and pleasant to cool off.
Our guide Bun and our driver Sal were waiting for us on time at the hotel. During the trip Bun told us everything we needed to know about our day, history and culture. We could even make a stopover at a temple, as we had purchased another Angkor pass (self-directed). We even had a photo stop at a viewpoint on the mountain with a fantastic view of the jungle of Cambodia. After visiting the reclining Buddha, we were even able to try some local, delicious snacks that Bun recommended. Since it was very hot, we even received a cool refreshing cloth from Sal and of course enough cool water. A very successful excursion with the best guide+driver
Very impressive excursion and an unforgettable experience! Our guide Bun and our driver Sal were the best accompaniment for this excursion. They stopped individually at temples we had not seen before and Bun told us many interesting things about the country, its people and their culture. Be sure to make this trip with Bun and Sal! We take home wonderful memories!
