Private VIP tour covering all public areas with excellent information and responses to our questions. Also “staff only” behind the scenes to see breeding areas, hospital, quarantine and water management systems. Excellent information about conservation philosophy. Beautiful environments for animals and fish. Mostly air conditioned or covered walkways with misting spray so comfortable. Definitely not a “zoo”, an education experience. Many endangered species. Must see in Siem Reap.

We met Yet as we began our trip into the aquarium. He was super knowledgeable and was kind enough to let us behind the scenes. Amazing experience and they take great care of their animals. Was super interesting to know more about their conservation work.

This was an absolutely revolutionary experience! The tour guide was very detailed, I learnt a lot about Cambodia’s wildlife species, extinct, endangered or safe. The most memorable moment was the mermaid performance performed by Khmer Angkorian. The first ever in Cambodia. A must visit if you’re visiting Siem Riep,Cambodia.

An incredible day out. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her explanations were detailed and insightful. An impressive array of fish and animals. The centre also takes part in important conservation efforts in the area.

This place is really interesting. Good to know that this is not just any random safari or aquarium, but it's the place that rescues many wild animal from being extinct. Thanks to the guide that lead us last morning, they explain everythings so well, this shows that they truely care and love what they are doing. I've had a great experience that I got to see many rare animals with my own eyes and I would definately recomment this place to other people if they ask for.

This is my second time visiting Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium, but this time was different from the first one, since I did the Half Day River Monster Tour with a Private Guide in Siem Reap. It gave me a different vibe, from the front-of-house to backstage, and let me see how everyone responds and does their job. This was something different and an amazing experience.

This wildlife sanctuary is purely about the appreciation and conservation of South Asia's endangered species. We were able to see these animals in really well planned exhibits that cater directly to each species. After we finished the outside areas, were treated to the behind the scenes and i was blown away with their aquarium set up. The inner need in me asked all the questions about the filtration and how many lpm the pumps were capable of! Very satisfied by our guide Yet, great man with much patience. My second time in Cambodia, im sure that I'll return here, there is so much more they are setting up.

Yet was a lovely guide! Very educational and answered any questions we had. Spend a good amount of time waiting for us and explaining the conservation and what AwA does with the animals.

A wonderful experience &excellent guided tour

Our organization brought a group of English students to tour the aquarium and wildlife reservation in the morning. The staff was very helpful and informative to our group. We self toured from 8:30-10:30 and had time to see all the animals at a relaxed pace. The entire place is very clean and well maintained.

I am very fascinated by the wildlife I’ve seen. It was very eye opening to see the , especially the marine animals such as the big fishes that I’ve never known or seen before.

Professional animal conservationists have the right skills in caring for and feeding animals.

I really enjoyed learning about and seeing animals we don’t usually get the chance to see. Our guide, Yet, was amazing—kind, funny, and very informative. He taught us about conservation issues we had never known about and explained how many animals are rehabilitated and released back into the wild instead of spending the rest of their lives in captivity. We especially enjoyed seeing the catfish, giant barb, tigers, snakes, otters, and many other incredible animals. It was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it.

I had so much fun with the tour. The guide knows about the fishes and answered all of my questions. I think aquariums and zoos in other countries should have tours like this too, so visitors can know the stories about the animals and how to take care of them.

I am currently volunteering at a school outside Siem Reap and I came to visit the Angkor Wildlife and Acquarium because the brother of my host, Yet, works here. He gave us a private tour and took us behind the aquariums, showed how the water system works for them and explained everything about all the animals of the park. I already know Yet personally from our hosts house but seeing him at his job was an amazing experience, he is very knowledgeable about all animals in the parks and explains everything perfectly. I would really recommend Angkor Wildlife and Aquarium to everyone visiting Siem Reap.

Fabulous tour for all ages. Very informative about local and native to Cambodia species, conservation efforts, and rescue and release programs. Great group discount for out of country travelers. Fun and interactive atmosphere without the afternoon crowds. Great addition to our Cambodian itinerary.

This experience was one of a kind. We are studying abroad woth our school and this was one of the best places to go. Our tour guide, Tino, was incredible. He was so sweet, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions ! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a fun day with amazing animals !

Yet has been showing us the very importance of the conservation center. We really appreciated what the center is doing to inform the people and give a temporary shelter for the wildlife. The tour behind the scenes was a very nice addition to our visit. Hopefully many visitors will come to support this beautiful project.

Excellent tour underlining the importance of teaching communities the need for conservation and protection. The aquarium was an awesome experience. From the moment you walk in tha animals there are active and healthy. Definitely worth the trip.

We had a private tour with a guide from the Aquarium. We spent a couple of hours with her looking at the fish and animals under their care. This gave us a context behind their presence there - some were part of projects aimed at supporting local wildlife, others rescued from life as pets. It was fascinating. We learnt a lot about the animals but also about the educational and outreach work the centre is carrying out to help local people understand and protect local wildlife. You can go around the centre without a guide but we think that the extra money bought us a better experience.

Awesome experience learning about wildlife in Cambodia and the conservation team is doing a great job at preserving wildlife. My guide Yet was very informative and explained the process of taking care of the wildlife before releasing the animals to the wild.

Hands down the best thing to do in Siem Reap. A hidden gem outside of the city. I arrived by motor bike but you can also tuktuk or car here. A huge variety of species both from Cambodia and elsewhere. They support bringing back endanger species of the area with funckyioning breeding programs. I ended up on a guided tour and I HIGHLY recommend it. Our aquarium provided tour guide, Yet knew everything to know about the animals, history and facility. Admission is 20 USD for foreigners. Spent about 2 to 3 hours here but you could make it an all day thing.

I had a fantastic experience with the guide, Yet. He's a very passionate, kind, and funny person. The animal conservation center is amazing; I especially loved the aquarium with all the fish and new species. I learned so much, and it's a wonderful memory.

Great experience. Our travel agent suggested this activity. To be honest I had low expectations, but were so glad we came here! The kids loved it, a wide array of land and sea animals. It was a interesting tour with expert guide with a deeper knowledge of the fresh water fish. It is a recommended activity after visiting Tonle Sap lake. The mermaid shows was incredible.

We’ve visit the Angkor Wildlife for the half day and the Staff here are so friendly and they have experience and the ability to explain the tourism to make them understand about AWA purpose and goal. Knowing that In Cambodia, some animals breed are almost extinct so please to the organization around the world, please help to solve this problem

I have a field trip with my school mates to this place. It's such a wonderful place I've ever seen before. There are so many animals and what I really like from this place is the environment and they do like an eco system. I highly recommend you guys to visit this place specifically the Aquarium.
