We had a beautiful tasty lunch here while on a biking trip and were delighted to have short tour afterwards. The work they do in protecting rescuing and releasing animals that can survive alone back into the wild was inspiring . Our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and committed . We cannot recommend this experience enough as support is needed for this type of work .
The enclosures are of a high international standard, the animals are very well looked after and content. This is an authentic conservation zoo with genuine breeding and reintroduction areas to populate endangered species. Well worth the money and much bigger than can be displayed on the pamphlet. A good cause to support.
Had a fantastic day visiting the Aquarium had the pleasure of a guide how was fantastic, knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. It is well worth a visit and also having refreshments and nibbles at the end of the tour
It was very entertaining. Clean and the staff very friendly and professional. The attractions were interesting. I loved the tigers and the main fish aquarium. There were games setup for kids. Very family oriented.
A very nicely arranged zoo with sweet and salty water aquariums and few sites outside. Very helpful stuff, showing us around. I fully recommend visiting it.
We had a very knowledgable guide Aish Sochea. Beautifully presented tanks with an informative tour of their maintenance and upkeep along with how the new arrivals are quarantined. The release program for the crocodiles was also interesting
This is an incredible experience. Our guide, Sochea is so knowledgeable and interesting. The programme of rescue and breeding is outstanding and we got to see the "engine room" which is critical for the fish health.
Awesome to see the fish and the animals were all in very large environments. They all seemed well looked after and happy.
Amazing facility, what you’re doing for animal conservation is truly amazing. A must see for all visitors too Cambodia!
Went with our Cows for Cambodia charity. It was amazing. Great experience and the children loved it 🥰
My day at Angkor Wildlife and Aquarium was nothing short of amazing. From the fresh water fish to the birds that fly everything was so beautiful and well curated. You can truly see the attention and care from the caretakers and staff at this conservation. I encourage all to come visit at least once as it does inspire you to look around more for the animals that lurk around us and below our surface. Truly mesmerizing and beautiful. 10/10
I visited the Angkor Wildlife and Aquarium today and had a great experience. The aquarium section was full of interesting fish from the local area and abroad. The outdoor area was full of interesting wildlife, with my highlight being the king cobra in the reptile house. It is definitely worth paying a visit to this centre if you’re looking for something to do in Siem Reap.
Lovely clean and magnificently maintained facility. Lots to see and do. Large appropriately sized enclosures and educational
Amazing place, love that it’s ethical too as they release all the fish after so many years. Really friendly and educational staff too, Yet was lovely ! Really recommend to visit
One of the best Cambodia show aquarium experience, that's no doubt to give you 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sopheak has been incredible on guiding me around the wildlife and aquarium sanctuary! Couldn’t have asked for a better person to take me around! She’s knowledgeable and kind. The animals are well taken care of. Would recommend❤️
I had a great experience with this aquarium tour! The guide was friendly and helpful. The aquarium and the conservation center was beautiful and it was really interesting to learn more about the different animals. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and interesting experience, perfect for families and kids.
What an incredible place. You could tell everyone working there genuinely cares for the animals and is passionate about conservation. Is a must do for anyone staying in or near siem reap. Would definitely recommend 👍
Had a really nice time here all very clean and animals appeared well looked after. Signs on each enclosure with information about each one. Lunch very nice and waiter helpful. Had arrived by tuk tuk and couldn’t get one to return. Tino saw us and helped us get tuk tuk but went above and beyond that and gave us a private tour including back room of aquarium and the monkeys which no one sees. A must experience for all to see well worth the money
The aquarium is very special and used to teach us about the importance of protecting the animals. By visiting you contribute their great work!!
A lovely compact zoo. Animals are healthy and they have great environments. An on-site guide asked us, if we'd like to hear more about the animals. Tino was wonderful, knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you!
Amazing park Sopheak attend us very well!
Great Experience to learn about the wildlife of Cambodia
I have really good experience here im highly recommend this place
We come with a group of people share our best memories together with this place. We do love the show and environment.
Heartfelt Review A truly wonderful and meaningful experience! ❤️ A huge thank you to Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium – Siem Reap for generously providing a 100% free Full Day Pass and a full day of fun and memorable experiences for the children with cancer from Angkor Hospital for Children. What touched us most was not only the generous support, but also the warm and thoughtful coordination throughout the entire day. Everything was done with so much love, kindness, care, and compassion, giving these children a chance to smile, have fun, explore, and create beautiful memories. Your kindness means so much to these children and their families. Thank you for helping bring happiness, hope, and unforgettable moments into their lives. ❤️🙏 Highly recommended Thank you, Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium, for your beautiful heart and for making this special day possible. 🫶🏻❤️
Really nice place for keeping and helping the animals, help me to get the a lop of new knowledge.
What an awesome conservation center very close to Siem Reap! Here, all the animals are rescued or extracted from the black market. Moreover, the AWA center is involved in several programs of conservation with partners and are responsible of hundred releases in nature. Theirs targets are: educate, inspire and conserve. Perfectively adapted to families, we learned a lot on the several species that are preserved here. Don’t expect a zoo, it’s not one. It’s a peaceful area which respects health animal. Take you time to enjoy the center as we did, have a break in the floating market for an Asian lunch. Il you want to add a positive impact on the Cambodian wildlife, come to visit the AWA center!
We had a fabulous day at Angkor Wildlife and Aquarium, a wildlife conservation center that works in collaboration with researchers. The animals we were lucky enough to see had all been rescued from poaching or other forms of exploitation. The funds raised from visits are used for other conservation projects. The center releases animals that can survive in the wild (more than 300), but the others must remain in captivity and are well cared here, with suitable enclosures. There is plenty of interesting information to read about the animals, their conservation, and the environment in general. It's very engaging and therefore suitable for the whole family. Moreover, the place is beautiful and very peaceful, and the staff is very welcoming. It's well worth a visit!
We had an excellent time at the Aquarium. I was very impressed how clean and well maintained the tanks were and all the fish appeared very healthy. The facilities were excellent and spotless. We were also impressed by the venues emphasis on educating the children and community in general of the need to conserve the natural environment for the preservation of the local fish and animal species. They also have breeding programme for the reintroduction of stock back to the environment. We also had a bonus look at the impressive filtration systems for the aquariums. Thank you very much !
The staff here are wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming. Yoem Yet took us behind the scenes and should us what happens with breeding, rescuing and rehabilitation of endangered species, and the care of sick/ill fish. Would recommend this as a must see side trip if you are in Siem Reap
really fun experience would definitely come again. me and my family had a really good time. would reccomend
The zoo is newly built, modern building and “garden”. Signs in English too. You can spend 2-3 hours there. Lots of shades in the outdoors too with water minsters. All/most of the animals are here, which can be found in Cambodia, and some other animals too. I just don’t understand why they put so far away from the city; and it if its so distant, why the animals cannot have a bigger cage or enclosure.
The tour was very interesting and enjoyable. I get to know a lot about the different creatures and wildlife. And I am happy to see all those animals were rescued by them. Highly recommend to visit this place.
If you’re visiting Siem Reap, I highly recommend taking some time to experience Angkor Wildlife. It’s a lovely place to learn about the animals, their daily lives, and how they are cared for. A peaceful and meaningful experience for everyone, especially animal lovers.
平日に訪れました。 サイズ感ちょうど良く、楽しめました。 トイレ含め綺麗です。 ここは動物保護を目的とした施設らしく、活動を説明頂きました。 Mr,Yet Thank you for your explanation and impressive experience
We visited the aquarium with ESL students and teachers. The exhibits were very nice with English informative Signs, from the fish exhibits to the Bengal tiger, the sun Bear, the otter, the deer, and many other exhibits. This place is not a zoo. The focus is primarily on conservation, and there is a high emphasis on this.
The adventure at the Angkor Wildlife & Aquarium was a fantastic experience (10/10). I was introduced to various endangered species and learned about their survival, growth, and reproduction.
For those of you who have come to visit the ANGKOR WILDLIFE & AQURIUN Conservation Center, I feel happy and know many endangered species 10/10
know many types of local animals and wildlife
There is very good views to visit, If some want to know about animal in Cambodia it's good to visit here. If I have time I will came back here again ❣️
Very well set up and maintained. Not too far from the city and a great way to start your day. Thank you Tino for showing me around.
It's a wonderful place, they preserve they native species and educated the locals on the different animals. Amazing to see the different species. Best guide = Yoem Yet!
Money worth the experience I think it is not much experience
Great aquarium lovely clean displays , the zoo part was good , very hot so most of the animals were hiding. A good fun day out
Had a wonderful time sharing the experience with some children from a local school and my fellow Cows for Cambodia group.
Lots of animals to see, very educational.
A fascinating conservation centre that is perfectly maintained. The aquariums are huge, and the fish look healthy and amazing. I was lucky enough to get a private tour with Yet, who shared so many interesting facts and explanations. It made the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
I went here with my wife and we had a great time. The price of admission is very reasonable and I'm glad that it's helping fund conservation efforts. The layout was smaller than I originally thought, but I think it was a good size. It wasn't cramped , but not so spread out it felt like we had to rush to see everything. It was a very relaxed atmosphere like I was taking a walk, rather than at a zoo or some kind of park. We spent six hours walking around both the outside and inside areas, but we could have easily spent another couple sitting in front of one of the large fish tanks, watching the otters, or sitting having a cold drink in the garden or floating village. We arrived early in the morning on a weekday and we didn't really see anybody for a few hours. The crowd did start to pick up at around 12:00-14:00. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the animals and were able to answer every question I had. I will definitely be going back soon.
