We had an unforgettable 3-day trip in Siem Reap with our family, and having John as our private guide and driver made all the difference. From picking us up seamlessly at the airport on our first day to dropping us back off for our departure, his service was truly 5-star from start to finish. John took care of everything we could have asked for. He guided us to the best spots around the region, customized our schedule according to our pace, and shared insightful historical and cultural details at every stop. His English is fluent and very easy to understand, making communication effortless and enjoyable. His vehicle was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had great air conditioning—which was a lifesaver after exploring the temples in the heat. Beyond his professionalism and deep knowledge, what stood out most was his attitude: always positive, respectful, patient, and discreet. We felt completely relaxed and well looked after throughout the entire journey. On top of all this, his pricing is very reasonable and fair for the quality of service provided. If you are visiting Siem Reap and want a smooth, stress-free, and memorable private tour experience, I wholeheartedly recommend John without hesitation!

John Suchite, Male, Born in 1987, Mobile No: +85512766234-- remember these details. According to your birth year, you find a Son, a Friend or a Brother in him. We found him over the internet along with other guides / operators. From the first enquiry his guidelines about the tour itinerary was absolutely spot on. The itinerary actually depends on how many days you wish to spend, and what you wish to see at Siem Reap, Cambodia. After discussion of best possible itineraries for our stay days, we noded affirmative with him, his offer was not the lowest though. As we arrived at Siem Reap International Airport and came ouside after necessary formalities, John was present with his lovely smile to greet us. He was well aware about our ages, took care of pushing the trolleys of his own to ease us, loaded the bags into his van (11 seater), offered us water and started towards town. We must say the van is very neat & clean, a very much feel good factor inside. We went for a Apsara Dance Show (Cambodian Traditional), that evening as per John's Suggestion and the show with Dinner was simply wow. Next day we went to visit The Temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayoon etc, and we must say his knowledge of history and artifacts was very good. Our main enemy war the late October Sun & Humidity but as soon as we huffed & puffed back the van, he offered us cold towels, cold waters. This was icing on the cake. He guided us for lunch at a very good restaurant and as we finished the day he guided us good restaurant for dinner. The next day we went to Kulen Mountain in the morning, and floating village with Sunset at the Tonale Sap Lake in the evening. We won't describe the places, it’s you to find the amazing beauty of the places. Next day he dropped us back to the Airport, as we said good by, our heart was heavy as we leave a son like samaritan.
John was great. I highly recommend him as a guide
John did not arrive to meet us at the airport on time, so there was confusion as we already booked a taxi instead, however he took us to an asura dance venue that evening which was extremely good. Thank you! We suggested visits to the Angkor Temples over 2 days with a morning tour and an evening tour each day and John organised the visits very well. The choice of temples to visit was excellent and John has a comfortable spacious vehicle with AC. It was difficult for both of us simultaneously to follow the guide information while sometimes separated wandering around the temples, taking pictures etc. and posing different questions. I feel that could have been more attentive for better guidance during the temple tours. The background of the historical culture is complex and was hard to grasp and could have been better communicated in order to put what we were seeing - the history, architecture and religion - into a better context. Otherwise John speaks good English was a very sympathetic companion. We wish him further success!
Fanastic experience with John guiding us through Angkor! We did a 2 day tour with 8 temples. John was extremely knowledgeable about history and current Cambodia - throwing in jokes throughout the tour. He is very responsive during communication and very accomodating in the hot weather. His car is perfect for couples or small families to get around in comfort. Highly recommened to everyone!
This was an amazing experience!! John was absolutely in time, showed exactly where when to stay to get the best view (and pictures). Was able to provide the information the visitor needs, not to much, as he he knows that the normal visitor can’t remember every king of every century, but was able to answer all questions in detail. In addition he was able to show me how to use my phone for better pictures 😀👍🫵. I’ve done a lot of visits the last months since I retired, but this was outstanding! Highly recommended!
We did a full day tour of Anghor Wat. John was wonderful, well organized. He planned the tour to avoid crowds and was very informative about anghor wat and its history. He personalized the tour and saw to our every comfort. Would highly recommend John for anyone seeking a private personalized tour of Anghor Wat.
John was a very friendly and safe driver. He drove a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and took us to interesting places, explaining the sights along the way. He also acted as a great driver-guide.
Mr. Suchit is an excellent personal guide for our visits to Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, and Angkor Thom. He was with us for 2 days. We were a group of 2 adults and 2 kids under 14, and he handled the tour perfectly. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with children. The explanations were clear and interesting, and the pace was comfortable for everyone. He also helped us with great photo spots and smooth planning. Highly recommended, especially for families visiting Angkor Wat Temple complex.
Exclusive and private tour experience with John who made every effort to make our five-day experience as seamless as possible. We were picked up from the airport and dropped-off again five days later, with unforgettable adventures in-between. John tailored our tour to our specific requests and needs and was very skilled in planning our tour in such a way that we were able to avoid the larger tour groups. This made our experience very quaint, picturesque and stunningly beautiful. John also organized a mountain hike for us which was a beautiful way of connecting with local communities and getting a deeper understanding of Cambodian culture. Overall, I highly recommend booking with John and his team. We will be back!
An unforgettable and beautifully organized experience. We spent wonderful days with our driver and organizer, and everything was arranged in a very personal and thoughtful way — especially since we were traveling with a child. On the first day, we visited the Elephant Forest, which was an incredible experience. Being so close to the elephants and seeing them live naturally, without being forced to perform for tourists, was truly special and deeply impressive. We stayed overnight in a mountain village and even spent the evening playing volleyball with local schoolchildren — a fun, authentic, and heartwarming experience for both adults and kids. On the second day, we first visited the waterfalls and the area of the 1000 Lingas, which were absolutely stunning. In the afternoon, we started at a temple and went on a beautiful hike through nature, ending at a stone elephant statue — a calm, unique, and memorable walk. Throughout the entire trip, our organizer was fantastic with our child, connected naturally, played with him, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and happy. Everything worked perfectly, we had an amazing time, and we can fully and wholeheartedly recommend this experience.
We spent two days exploring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples, and it was truly worth every moment. Our guide was excellent — not only knowledgeable about the ancient history of the temples, but also able to connect it with the more recent history of Cambodia. His explanations were clear, engaging, and full of insights that made the visit much more meaningful. Thanks to him, we didn’t just see the monuments, we understood their cultural and historical significance. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Angkor Wat in depth and come away with a richer understanding of the country.
Excellent tour. Custom design, very flexible. Really enjoyed Johns ideas and thoughtfulness. We would definitely work with John again
John was a great guide and one of the best I have encountered on my holidays. I will recommend him to anyone who wants a safe and informative experience.
Spending several days with Cheat exploring the temples of Siem Reap was truly unforgettable. From day one, he combined professionalism with a relaxed and approachable attitude that made us feel at ease throughout the entire journey. His jokes and easygoing nature kept the mood light and fun, almost like traveling with an old buddy. Cheat went out of his way to take plenty of beautiful photos and was always happy to adjust our plans to suit our wishes. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Siem Reap and will be sharing his name with friends looking for a guide who genuinely cares.
John is an excellent guide and driver. He is incredibly patient and explains everything clearly, making the entire experience both enjoyable and informative. I highly recommend him for any type of tour in and around Siem Reap. I traveled with my wife and friends, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Thank you, John, for a wonderful experience!
Highly recommend John for a private tour of Ankor wat. He picked us up from the airport, showed us the various temples. He was very flexible and adjusted the schedule to meet our needs. It was very hot so had to make some changes. He provided a AC car and had cold water on hand. He spoke good english and had good knowledge of the area. Arranged an evening dinner show. He was always on time. And at the end dropped us off at the airport. His rate was well below others were charging.
Excellent tour guide! John is knowledgeable with all the history and culture. Accommodating to our requests and also gave us great recommendations. Awesome personality and courteous. This is our second time using his service. Great minivan that can easily accommodate 7 passengers. Extra fees for airport transfer. Always on time for hotel pick-up. Will definitely book another with him.
We visited 3 temples from Siem Reap. They were all amazing. John was a great private tour guide, picked us ip drom our hotel, gave us good information and kept us hydrated with lots of bottles of cold water. It was a lovely day!
John was incredibly accommodating with my request. He arrived on time, took great care throughout, and captured amazing photos. Highly recommend!”
John is a very helpful tour guide. He showed us many things, including local food and their culture. We gain lots of knowledge. We are very happy with this trip with John. Everything went really great. Thank you.
Options were limited to say exactly what we did with Socheat (John). We actually hired John for eight tours 1+7 consecutive days. I’ve reached out to several tour operators with a pulmonary itineraries and asked all of them what they would do to improve or suggest anything other than what I asked, for that might provide me with a better experience. Socheat (John) was the tour operator to not only answer every question I had, but also expounded upon my itineraries with some very good suggestions. I knew right away he was the guide for us. We started out on a Friday full day tour around Phnom Penh. Saturday was an off day for my husband and I to do our own thing. and then the main tour, around eastern and northern Cambodia began on Sunday. He picked us up from our hotel in Phnom Penh, and toured Oudong mountain as well as spider village on the way to the river side, town of Chhlong, where we overnighted 2 nights. Our first full day there he took us to see the Irrawaddy dolphins, as well as for a trip to an island in the middle of the Mekong river, where we rented Mopeds and motored round that eco-island for several hours. The Island visit was not planned, but rather off-the-cuff - one of his many awesome suggestions. following day on our way to our next destination Koh Ker, another one of his off the top suggestions, the Mekong, bird resort… OMG, you must do this place! Your taken out on a motorboat in that part of the Mekong river, where there’s a lot of islands you motor around the island for a couple of hours you stop, and in our case, we went swimming though you can also do kayaking another outdoor sports. After you’re finished with the activities, they have this awesome alfresco lunch on a raft in the middle of the river. it’s unbelievable. The next day, an incredible visit to Preah Vihear temple on the Thai Cambodian border. If you’re into temples at all, and you have more than a day or two to spend in the Siem Reap area, this is an absolute must! Just the location, and the border dispute between the two countries and then to go up to see this incredible huge , very intricate temple on the top of the Dangrek mountain range is a once in a lifetime experience that so very few people get to enjoy. From there the next day spent visiting the temples in the Koh ker area. if you have done the grand circuit tour, Angkor Wat, Thom, Ta Phrom, etc.… There are so many more temples to see throughout Cambodia you really over to your self to see just how-intense this country‘s history is! Socheat (John) can show you all that, and then some! And we are not even done with our chores yet today we did the Roulos group, not too far from Siem Reap, the day before the incredible ruin ofBeng Melea. Socheat (John) will show you a side of Cambodia. You never knew existed. So if you’re into same places were most people will never go to see, having experiences that very few people ever enjoy. Then Socheat(John) is your man. And I cannot sing. His praise is highly enough! As much as anything, at this point in our relationship, we consider Socheat (John) a good friend, and that speaks volumes of this individual. BYW… he’ll introduced himself with an English name of John, but his Khmer name is Socheat.
We had an absolutely fantastic time with John during our stay in Cambodia. He is a deeply attentive, patient person of rare kindness. John took care of us from A to Z, my parents and myself, by organizing our arrival from Phnom Penh as well as our transfer to Siem Reap. Everything was perfectly planned, which allowed us to arrive relaxed and fully enjoy our trip. On-site, he accompanied us with remarkable professionalism. The first day, he took us to visit the fishing village and Tonle Sap Lake, an experience rich in discoveries. The second day, he guided us through the majestic temples of Angkor, with contagious passion. John taught us a great deal about the local culture and the history of the country. His knowledge and his teaching style made every visit fascinating. We truly appreciated every moment spent in his company. If you are looking for a reliable, warm, and passionate guide to discover Cambodia, look no further: John is the person you need. We highly recommend him without the slightest hesitation! Thank you so much John for these precious memories. 🙏
John was simply fantastic. We traveled as a couple and with him we felt part of a group of travel and discovery; he gave us a lot of information about everything with great care, and he proved to be friendly and likable right from the start. He took us to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat, traveling along a road that, at that hour, was completely deserted and immersed in darkness. At a certain point, we found ourselves in front of a gate, from which we could glimpse in the distance, among the shadows, the towers of the temple: a beautiful emotional impact, difficult to forget. The tour he organized was very well thought out: he also took us to a second viewpoint, a large body of water, where we were able to admire a rare sunrise, with a completely clear sky, even though we were in the middle of the rainy season. He also had us stop at the spots we appreciated the most, in particular in the area of the Angkor Thom gates, like the Victory Gate, and he even took photos of us that he shared with us at the end of the tour. John helped us understand a lot not only about the temples, but about Cambodia in general and its recent history of the last few decades, with clear and passionate explanations. He was also an excellent driver, always available: when my girlfriend didn't feel well, he immediately suggested solutions for us to reach a hospital, even in an area far from the more inhabited centers of Cambodia. He also accompanied us to Kampong Khleang, allowing us to visit that area as well. I highly recommend John as a guide and driver: professional, competent, and always available. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting us experience truly wonderful days of discovery.
