Classic Angkor Wat Sunset Private Guide Tour

The guide,Mr Da Rith, kindly took me 6 temples (5 scheduled and 1 additional) with informative and interesting explanation. I learned a lot about Buddhism stories and Khmer history throughout the tour.

We had a fantastic private tour with MyProGuide. The knowledge about all the local sites we visited allowed for deep conversations about the history and allowed for us to see some lesser known temples and sites where we essentially were the only visitors on site. The English skills were fantastic and they were accommodating to our needs and making sure we were hydrated, cool and had umbrellas for rain or sun.

Ben’s English was fantastic and his knowledge of Cambodian history was very insightful as well. I definitely recommend him. We did a private tour that was very flexible.

Excellent tour! All the temples were beautiful and Ben our tour guide was very knowledgeable and even provided more trivia about Cambodian history and culture. Even though the weather was very hot, we always had fresh towels and water waiting for us in the car. Would recommend for anyone who wants to get a full Angkor Wat experience.

We had the pleasure of touring Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Bayon Temple, and several other hidden gems in the Angkor Archaeological Park with Mr. Sann as our guide. Our day began early at Angkor Wat, where we were amazed by the grandeur and intricate carvings of this iconic temple. Mr. Sann’s deep knowledge of the history, culture, and symbolism behind each structure truly brought the site to life for us. Next, we visited Ta Prohm, famous for the massive tree roots entwined with ancient stone walls, creating a mystical atmosphere. Mr. Sann guided us through less-crowded paths, allowing us to fully appreciate the serene beauty of the temple. At Bayon Temple, he explained the significance of the enigmatic smiling faces that adorn the towers, giving us a deeper understanding of the Khmer Empire’s history. Throughout the day, we explored several other lesser-known temples, each with its unique charm and story. As the day drew to a close, we were treated to a breathtaking sunset atop one of the temples, offering a peaceful end to our journey through history. Despite the sweltering heat and the visible discomfort from the sweat soaking through his uniform, Mr. Sann never wavered in his dedication to our experience. His enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care for our enjoyment were evident in every aspect of the tour. Even after a long day, he always had a smile on his face, ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. We are incredibly grateful for his hard work and highly recommend him as a guide for anyone visiting Siem Reap.

The tour covers the 4 temples, in what is known as the short circuit or inner circle. Our guide, Mr. Roem, provided insights about the history of Angkor Wat, various temples, and their significance to Cambodia and its people.

The tour is good and we enjoyed the trip. Tour guide Sotin did a great job leading the group, explained the history of the temples and took a lot of nice photos for everyone while driver Yeann is a responsible one who will be always be ready waiting for us. We had a fascinating full day trip at Angkor Wat temples booked through klook. Our guide, Tong, was very knowledgeable and acdemically educated in the local history and Buddhism. The van was with AC and with chilled water readily available and Tong suggested a great place to stop for lunch. A must day tour while here but maybe a bit too long for little ( and possibly older) children.

The view are all amazing specially in Angkor Wat, tour guide “Kimsea” is very hands on when it comes to tourist, giving insights about the history of the places and taking photos on the best spot. Amazing tour! You’ll have your walk down their history. Tola is very energetic. He makes sure we’re always hydrated. He also takes great photos and shows us where the money shot are! He even showed us an adventurous shortcut for the hike down the mountain! Would recommend!

Our guide's name is Dam Din, and he is amazing. So this was my very first time to go to Siem Reap and I booked two tour by MyPro Guide Cambodia, including this one. This trip will be the one I can never forget, because it was so amazing. I recommend you to go there and book this trip. I was picked up around 9 am and we arrived there around 10 am (and to buy the ticket, please prepare 37 USD). First we went to Angkor Wat. The temple is so huge, you need to be ready, wear a comfortable sneakers, bring sunscreen, bring an umbrella if you can't handle the heat, and lots and lots water. The guide provided us 4 water bottles throughout the day, so thank you for this. The next temple was Ta Phrom, Neak Poan and lastly was the Bayon Temple. You are going to enjoy this trip, I promised you that. To end the trip, you're going to do hiking for 20 minutes and go to the last destination, Phnom Bakheng (also a temple) and see the sunset. I am a woman, solo traveler, first time to Cambodia and I feel like the guide has been very much helpful in explaining the history of Angkorwat, he was friendly, and he even offered to take our photos multiple times. He was so professional. If I could rate Dam Din, I'd give him 10 out of 10. Thanks!
