We needed a driver for 24 hours. Drove us from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and took care of our transportation needs in Siem Reap. Kosal was very joyful and kind. On the five hour drive he engaged with us an appropriate amount, was flexible with/when we needed to stop, and ensured we found clean and safe places for restroom breaks. Mr Vuthy and his team had been recommended to us by friends. Right from the moment of the airport pickup in Siem Reap we were made to feel safe by Mr Khen who, in amazing English, told us all we wanted to know and more for the beginning of our trip. We booked two day-trips. We were driven on one by Mr Kosal and the other by Mr Vuthy. Both know the temple region very well and they adapted to our requests so that we made more from the day than we initially expected. It doesn't get any better than this. The car was beautiful, cold water was always on hand, and he was so friendly and accommodating. He is also very knowledgeable and it was nice to have private service. Not sure what you want to see? He'll put together a plan that'll taken you off the beaten path to get away from mobs of tourist. Well what can I say? From the start of our holiday until the end of the holiday. My husband booked Khen and Prolen by reading the Trip Advisor reviews. I cannot speak highly of both drivers. They were punctual, knowledgeable and always had a smile in their face. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We got picked up from airport taken to airport and driven around to our destinations. They recommended the times for pick ups and how long we would need for each journey. These people are so proud of their country and so they should be. Hope to be back soon.

I am impressed with professional approach of this company. We had a trip through severeal places in cambodia, everything was great. Driving toyota alphard was a pure relax for all family. We have just finished a two week tour of Cambodia where I booked the flights and hotels, but use d Cambodia Private Tours for all our journeys between destinations and a lot of day tours too. We first contacted them almost a year ago and asked about transfers and the owner/driver Khen replied via Whats app almost immediately. Over the months we put together a plan, all costed of journeys, how long each would take etc, along with one day's tour in each place and a day free. First of all, the communication has been excellent throughout. From before the trip, to asking for advice about Cambodia in general, but mainly for confirming pick up times, and for last minute changes, none of which were a problem. We even booked more day trips at short notice once we had an idea what we were doing. Re.lies were instant. The drivers all turned up on time, in large air conditioned SUV vehicles, which were very comfortable, all with iced water to drink, all speaking good English. We stopped where needed for breaks and when we went to see attractions, and they h ad to move the car, they sent us their location via Whatsapp. Note, they were just "drivers" not guides ( which was exactly what we wanted), so they generally didnt come into the attractions, but were always there waiting when we came out, however long or short time we took. Most importantly, their driving was all amazing - no way could I have driven here. The prices charged were very reasonable, similar or less to what you could book online through agents, but having them all from a central hub with someone who could organize them and make small changes was invaluable. This was Khen, who took us himself on our last day trip to the wildlife park. He spoke perfect English and told us a lot about Cambodia, his own experiences, and the recent history, so he was more of a guide as well. The whole experience from start to finish was perfect and we would wholeheartedly recommend him and his company for your airport transfer, town to town transfer, or even 20 day tour.

What an amazing time we had with our private driver for a four hour visit in Cambodia off of the cruise ship. The communication via email from the very start was excellent very clear on the price very clear on the terms no confusion are leading up to our arrival, more clear instructions, including the day we arrived a picture of our driver with our name on a board, waiting for us where the shuttle dropped us off and then the five places I had asked to visit. I didn’t expect the driver to get out at all of the places and give us commentary and local information and all sorts of a great insight. I just expected the driver to allow us to go and then wait for us so that was very much of a bonus and he was so kind and so informative and very careful. That’s very crowded here and there’s a lot of traffic and he was very cautious and careful with us crossing the street and being very mindful of cars and other people are experience from start the very first communication a month ago to being dropped off back at the shuttle bus was top-notch five stars all the way highly recommend

This was our first trip to Cambodia and from start to finish we had expert guidance through Mr.Khen who runs his team of thoughtful and considerate friends through Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Koh Rong. I planned the trip many months in advance and Mr. Khen customed our schedule to our taste. Kosal the driver we had for 5-6 days and you will quickly become your friend ; the traffic, roads , crowds, sightseeing tips ; need to know all the local circumstances to get around and enjoy this country. This is a well established private tour guide team who happen to be all expert drivers. You immediately notice the difference in sightseeing taste when you go to the sites and see large groups coming from large tour buses going through the sites compared to the personal guides , quietly moving within the attraction, pointing out the highlights, taking lifelong memory photos, respecting the local customs of quiet appreciation, of the Buddhist temple culture and atmosphere. The Siem Reap archeological sites including Angkor Wat and the earlier periods started from 600 AD and earlier; this would be earlier than Nara, Kyoto from my country that was discovered in the jungles only a century or so ago. My wife and I contacted Khen several months ago when planning our trip to Cambodia. From the very beginning, Khen inspired confidence. He was helpful and answered my many questions patiently and promptly. We used Khen on a number of occassions during our visit to Phnom Penh and Siem Reap including a half day trip to the Killing Fields and the Genocide museum (tip - don't hire a guide as the audio tours are excellent), a five hour drive from PP to SR, a day trip to Angkor Wat, a half day trip to Kampong Phluck floating village, a transfer to the airport and a transfer from the Vietnam speedboat to our hotel. Both drivers, Ra and Polen were extremely nice people to be with and were very helpful. Polen did the majority of our drives - his English was excellent and such a nice gentleman. We used Kehn to take us from our hotel in Phnom Penh to the pier at Sihanoukville ( to catch the speedboat to Koh Rong). We also used him for the return trip from the pier to the Techno Airport in PP. Kehn was a very careful driver. His SUV vehicle was comfortable, clean and well air conditioned. He was also extremely friendly and provided interesting dialogue whilst on route. He was very prompt and his communication pre each trip was excellent. Highly recommended.

I had an excellent journey from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh with Vuthy, and I can highly recommend him. The car was extremely clean, very comfortable, and offered plenty of legroom — perfect for a long drive. Vuthy is an outstanding driver: safe, calm, focused, and efficient. We had a very nice trip from Siem Reap to Kampot. Some great stops (local market with spiders, an old bridge from the 12th century, a beautiful restaurant for lunch) and the car was really confortable. The next time we would choose Vuthy again.

We got two separate transfers with Vuthy and then Khen - excellent vehicles, great communications and super friendly guys.

Om picked us (family of 4) up from Phnom Penh and drove us through to Siam Reap providing tour guide commentary along the way and answering all our questions on Cambodia (or as I learnt along the way Khmer). We stopped a few times on the way at the spider market and for a traditional Cambodian lunch. The next day Om picked us up and gave us a tour of the incredible Phnom Kulen waterfall and the fishing village. A great driver with great local knowledge can’t recommend highly enough

Experience with Vuthy was absolutely wonderful!!! The time spent with him is the best part of this trip to Cambodia. He waited for us at our hotel before the meeting time, provided a clean & comfortable vehicle for the long trip. Vuthy has been a taxi driver for more than 15 years, he knows all the things well on the way to Siem Reap! Such as clean restrooms, gas stations, cafes. The journey was mainly about 6 hours, he chitchatted with us, tell us about the culture, traditions, religions, his family stories and everything about the country. He acted more than a driver but a good companion and tour guide. The restaurant he brought us to and the banana chips he shared with us were also fantastic. Wish him and his family all the best. Wuti is a very good driver! He is conscientious and enthusiastic to share the customs and culture of Cambodia with us. We thought the six-hour journey from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap would be long and boring, but Wuti gave us a perfect journey with his excellent eloquence and superb driving skills. I would definitely recommend this service, it is much better than taking a bus！

Khen was an excellent driver. He responded promptly to my queries, VERY good English speaker. He was on time, polite, sociable and helpful. Drove our family of four with four large back packs in his SUV - journey took 6 hours 40 minutes with 2 toilet breaks and a blown tyre due to a sharp object in the road. He dealt with the tyre change very quickly. He knew all about the ferries which was very helpful and got us there in good time. We can thoroughly recommend Khen and would use him again.

I cannot recommend Cambodia Private Taxi enough! Khen made everything so easy! They were on time when I landed in Phnom Penh and the drive from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap was so smooth. Next day, I did the Angkor Wat tour with Khen and it was the best decision. We started around sunrise and he was very knowledgeable about the temples and the history. He also is the best photographer and he will get all of the angles for your Instagram. Khen makes sure that your experience is comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience and I will use them again next time I am here.

I called upon Cambodia Private Taxi for a comfortable, affordable transfer between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Their service (I originally contacted them to take me on a temple tour - which was excellent!) was perfect - punctual, accommodating & drama-free! My driver (Khen) speaks fluent English. He makes himself available to chat but he also respects your privacy, if quiet is desired. I appreciate this very much!

Kosal was my driver from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville and he gave me full history of Cambodia while we were getting there He also shows the best place, he arranged a boat for me to Koh Rong and acted as a personal guide, not a taxi driver only. Kosal was wonderful!! He picked me up from my hotel in Phnom Pehn and safely transported me to Siem Reap in my own private car. The price was too good to be true! He also let me connect to his phones WiFi for a few hours so I could finish some school work, which was BEYOND helpful! The car was comfy, the pickup was smooth, I was able to organize it at my own time and he even allowed for a short detour to see the famous bridge and try some Canadian coconut cakes. Wonderful experience, so glad I did this rather than a crowded bus. For $80, it was perfect!

We had the most amazing vacation with About Cambodia Travel and Tours and a fantastic experience that will last us a lifetime. Our super knowledgeable guide Sara and amiable driver Mr. Peap are the friendliest people you could meet. Sara with his impeccable knowledge of the history, culture, the countryside, the peoples of Cambodia, the stunning architecture and beautiful temples constructed centuries ago made this trip a most memorable and interesting one. Professional friendly realible service. Highly recommend. We booked last minute just before the water festival and they made it happen. We had baby and the driver made it very bespoke and we were well look after for relaxing 6 hour drive. Good english and very trust worthy. You will enjoy very much. Even open the car door like gentlemen and put up with baby crying at some points.

My husband and I wanted to travel overland from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Ha Tien, Vietnam where we’d catch a ferry to Phu Quoc so decided to hire a driver. I was a bit nervous about booking on the web but Khen’s company had great reviews so we decided to try it. We used his service 3 times - pickup from the Siem Reap airport (note that there is a set fee of $35 U.S. for all taxis for this trip), Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and Phnom Penh to Ha Tien, Vietnam. Great service, comfortable SUVs and completely stress-free. Khen answered any question promptly via WhatsApp. The drivers for the first and third trip showed up on time and were friendly and good drivers. We had the luck of having Khen for our trip to Phnom Penh. He was fun and told us lots of interesting information on Cambodia and its history. He is also available for tours. The trip was meant to take 6 hours but due to a holiday, it took 8 hours but no complaints from Khen. He even took us on the scenic drive to our hotel once in Phnom Penh. Yuthy drove us to the Vietnamese border. He was also very friendly and professional. Since Cambodian taxis can’t drive into Vietnam, Khen arranged for a man on a motorcycle to guide us through the border (good fun and easy) with a Vietnamese taxi waiting on the other side to take us to our hotel in Ha Tien. We both strongly recommend using Khen’s service and traveling overland!

We visited Cambodia for the first time at the end of into September. Mr. Savin met us at the airport and for a family of four we were quite pleased with the transportation and the graciousness of Mr. Savin in attending to our needs. Savin’s English is impeccable, and his suggestions on places to visit and sites to see was well received. All four of us felt as if we were with an old friend and truly appreciated the small kindness of cold bottled water that was available to us.
