Angkor World Heritage With Sunrise - Small Group

This was a great experience, seeing Angkor Wat at sunrise and also seeing Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, and Bayon Temple. We were very well looked after and our guide, Bun, was very knowledgeable. We also had a very good driver - Seyha.

Enriching, culturally and literally. The tour was perfect for us 12 people coming from USA, UK, Singapore and Philippines. Chayy - our tour guide is masterful and a history junkie. No dull moment during the entire tour. Not only we were able to see Angkor Wat, we also experience the killing fields.

I want to thank the entire team involved, but especially our guide Paul Saruan, for the impeccable organization, charisma and execution of the tour! You were incredible, you took care of us throughout the entire journey! I recommend it and would definitely return! Rating 10/10

Today we had the most unforgettable experience. Mr Sok Chea our guide and our driver Mr Sal (aka Mr Water) we’re the absolute best. Me Sok was so knowledgeable and the detail of information he gave us was incredible. We highly recommend this sunrise tour and please ask for Mr Sok Chea and Mr Sal - you will not regret such an unbelievable experience! 😊

We did the 1 day sunrise tour with Mr. Sokchea, who is one of the best tour operators we have had while away on our trip. He was very very, informative and took some great images for the group! The tour itself was well ran and we got so see 3 of the main temples including Angkor Wat at sunrise. Mr. Sokchea provided lots of information of each site and made the tour what it is! They also supply fruit and water.

Our day-trip to Angkor Watt was one of the best tours we’ve experienced through Viator. Prior to the day-trip, our host was very communicative and helpful in setting up a pickup location. On the day of the excursion itself, we were met with a warm welcome from our host, SupG. Angkor Watt itself is great, but SupG’s passionate approach and insight made the day a pleasurable experience, from beginning to end. He ensured everyone was cared for during the tour and also provided a great sense of humour. We would highly recommend this day-trip to anyone interested in exploring the Angkor Watt complex.

Our guide Mr Sok Chea was amazing, he gave us a lot of information about the history of the Angkor Kingdom and Cambodia in general. Also our driver Keal was very kind and provided us constantly with water and towels during our trip. I definitely recommend the sunrise tour. You learn a lot in this tour.

Absolutely incredible! Can’t recommend this tour enough, our tour guide Bun was so knowledgeable about all the temples in very specific detail. Pointing out other details which other tours just passed. Went around Ankor Wat, then onto jungle temple and then ‘smiling face’ temple. It was great to see the sunrise, Bun offered to take photos of the group and individuals all around the temples. Everything we asked Bun knew the answer to, he also gave us brief history about Cambodia and the civil war. The driver Keal was also great, giving cold towels and always having cold water on hand. Both are the kindest and politest people we have met in asia! If you do one thing in Cambodia, please do this tour! Thank you so much

We woke up very early for this sunrise tour, and it is absolutely worth it. Angkor Wat is a stunning spiritual place. We loved being there! There were many beautiful photos to take, and so much to learn. Mr. Saruon was a kind and knowledgeable guide for the entire trip. He had so much interesting information to share about Angkor Wat and the Temples, he was very alert to when we felt hot and made sure we were drinking water and had cold towels on the bus, and kept everyone together - which is no easy task. We loved being a part of his group and would absolutely recommend this tour and Mr. Saruon to anyone traveling to Siem Reap. You get the advantage of beautiful views and beating the heat in Angkor Wat, and then enjoying 8 other Temples (most tours didn't include this many!) plus a tasty lunch. Each location we saw had soemthing new to offer. It was fascinating. We would do it again! Enjoy!! And thank you so much, Mr. Saruon!

The favourite part today was the sunrise view up on the Angkor Wat Temple ehich is really amazing. I think no need to recommend the future travelers anything because the tour guide (Mr. Saruon and the driver on 20th March) was really humble and know whch is best for the travellers. I give them five stars especially the tours guide is really professional handling everything and know which is the best place to take photos.

Our tour guide Bun was amazing. He told us all about Cambodia’s rich history and always had our interests and needs in mind. The two days tour takes you to all the main Angkor temples and the sunrise at Angkor Wat, an experience that I will cherish forever. Definitely recommended.

Mr Sak was fantastic, not only generous and vast with his knowledge of history, but truly invested in you having a great experience, I would definitely do other tours with him if possible. He made our experience of Angkor Wat even more wonderful!

This trip was genuinely flawless from beginning to end. Our guide Mr Sokchea was so knowledgeable, engaging and also has a great sense of humour. The tour was organised really well, from hotel pick up to each of the temples to being dropped off at the end of the day. We learnt a lot about Ankor Wat and Cambodia from Mr. Sokchea and got to enjoy some spectacular views at the same time. Undoubtedly the best tour I’ve done since travelling for months.

Very passionate tour guide, Mr. Lucky, with a friendly & polite attitude. He knew the whole area very well and always had a background story to tell. Although the tour may have started around 45 min later, it was perfect to Discover the area in one day and dive into Angkor History.

Our guide Phi provided an excellent sunrise tour of Angkor Wat and two other temples, which included history and stories, and avoidance of the main tourist groups. A willing and talented informal photographer for our group, he made us feel welcome at every step, taking the time to chat and share Cambodia’s rich history. The tour organisation itself was excellent with chilled water provided regularly throughout the journey and chilled towels in the heat of the day. Clear instructions for pick-up and drop-off, the buying of tickets and allowing us to buy breakfast at a local restaurant. 100% recommend using this company to book a tour!

I did a small group tour of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Bayon with Journey Cambodia, the guide was Sak. The tour was extremely interesting and had a lot of variety, which was quite important as it lasted from 4.30 AM to 12.30 AM. Sak was very knowledgeable and passionate about the sites. My husband and I had a wonderful day out with Mr Chayy. He was very informative with the history of all the temples. We were given fresh towels and water each time we returned to the van. The temples were amazing. A big Thankyou to My Chayy and the driver.

The tour was great, although we didn’t get to see the nice sunrise since it was cloudy. Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable.

Visiting the temples with Mr. Saruon was definitely the right choice! Although we were unlucky as we could not see the sunrise, the rest of the tour didn’t disappoint us! Saruon did a good job, he explained us all the history. Moreover, he is an amazing photographer! He took really good photos of us while doing the tour. I could not recommend him highly enough.

We were sure about getting a tour as obviously as backpackers we had a limited budget and it would be far cheaper to just get a tuk tuk and a guide book but the tour was so good! Very informative and we learned a lot that we previously wouldn’t have known! Saruon was a fab tour guide- spoke amazing English and knew so much info about the temples!! He was also very good at taking photos!!

Our tour guide (Mr.Sok) pick us up around 4ish he was punctual. On the way to Angkor Wat he explained most of the history and very informative. We had so much fun, also he knows the best spot to take pictures.

The temples are very good, historical place. Its kinda hot under the sun so make sure you bring hat or sunglasses. Our tour guide Mr. Sok knowledge about the temples and buddhism taught us so much. Very good hospitality by him

We highly recommend the sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. Our guide, Mr Sok, was so friendly. He spoke great English, and was so accommodating by taking pictures of us throughout the day. He even recommended the best places to take pictures at each location. The sunrise tour is the best way to see the temples before the crowds get there. the air conditioned van felt great between each location, and plenty of cold water was provided. 5 stars!!

The sunrise tour was amazing! Mr Sok was an awesome tour guide with a wealth of knowledge of the temple history and the history of Cambodia. He was able to answer all our questions and provide recommendations for the best photo locations. I would def recommend this tour for anyone that tours Angkor Wat. Shuttle bus with AC and unlimited drinks saved us from the blistering heat during the summer. We saw the Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, and the Bayon witha stop at the southern gate before returning back to our hostel. We would def recommend Tourme Angkor for anyone visiting the temples.

It was indeed a good trip but unfortunately we were not lucky enough to see the sunrise due to the cloudy weather. Our tourist guide Mr.Phal is very knowledgeable person and very kind and helpful. Our group consist of elderly people and they were patience enough to wait and bring us around with smile. The driver Maro (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was a very careful driver and we felt safe travelling with him. Would appreciate if you all could kindly advise your customers (passengers) on the proper attire & shoes before the travel. The most appreciated part is , we were served with chilled water and a wet towel upon every temple tour in order to get refresh and energized. KUDOS to you and your team. Keep up a good work.I will strongly recommend JOURNEY CAMBODIA to my other family and friends.
