Itinerary
Start your day with an 8:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Siem Reap. From there, enjoy a scenic drive to the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park.
Upon arrival, purchase your Angkor Pass and begin your adventure at Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of Khmer architecture. Constructed between 1113 and 1150 AD and originally dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, Angkor Wat is a masterpiece of design, symbolizing Mount Meru, the mythical center of the universe in Hindu cosmology.
Next, head to Angkor Thom, the great capital city established by King Jayavarman VII. Enter through the majestic South Gate, where rows of statues depicting gods and demons reenact the legendary Churning of the Sea of Milk.
Inside the city, visit the enigmatic Bayon Temple, where over 200 serene, smiling stone faces gaze down from soaring towers, representing the compassionate Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.
Continue your exploration with a walk to Ba Phuon Temple and along the Terrace of the Elephants, once used by the king for viewing ceremonies and military parades. Nearby, visit the Terrace of the Leper King, adorned with intricate carvings and steeped in royal mystery.
Conclude your journey at Ta Prohm, one of the most photogenic and atmospheric temples in the complex. Originally a Buddhist monastery and university, it was built by King Jayavarman VII in honor of his mother.
After a full day of exploration, relax on your tuk-tuk/Car back to Siem Reap. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or any central location of your choice.

Through our tour operator in the Netherlands, we had the pleasure of being guided at the Ankor Wat temple complex and the surrounding points of interest of Siem Reap. Mr. Chantra was our guide, a young dynamic gentleman telling with plenty of knowledge and passion about the history of this beautiful region and the whole of Cambodia and bordering countries. For Dutch speaking customers, Mr. Chantra is fluent in Dutch too. He understands humor and is just fun to be with. If you look for a good guide, look no further!
Our tour through the Angkor Archaeological Park was simply perfect. While temples like Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm are incredible on their own, our guide Steven made the day truly special. He shared so much great knowledge—not just about the temples, but also about Cambodian culture and daily life. Thanks to his clever routing, we easily avoided the massive tour groups. He also pointed out nice photo spots and gave us all the time we needed without making us feel rushed. Calling us "customers" wouldn't do it justice—from minute one, it felt like exploring with a good friend. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless, too. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxed, personal tour in Siem Reap. We will definitely be back to visit this beautiful country! Thanks, Steven!
Steven was an amazingly knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. He brought all the temple sites, images, sculptures to life with his commentary and real affection for what he was showing us. Nothing was too much trouble and the pace we went at was perfect and we newever felt under any pressure. Having done a number of similar tours in different countries Steven is without doubt the best guide we have had.
Steven is a great tour guide who took great care of us. Steven knows all the best times to visit the temples, best spots for pictures and always takes care.
A family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers), we spent two days visiting the temples with Voath. He is a 5-star tour guide : extremely knowledgeable, super kind, reliable and professional. Of course the temples are amazing, but he made it even better. A great experience, we 100% recommend !
I visited solo and found Mr Steven Jays as my guide. He is an expert guide with great knowledge about mythology, history, geography, tourism, religion and above all photography. I feel a bonding with him- he calls me grandmom and without him my travel wouldn’t been fruitful.
Sarum made our experience here in Siem Reap thoroughly enjoyable, he was very knowledgeable about the area and the many temples. He also escorted us to Tonle Sap, yet another amazing experience
Steven was an amazing guide and Samun drove us safely. This was a beautiful tour of Angkor. What an amazing place! We learned so much about the Cambodian history! Thanks guys! Would highly recommend this team!!
We had the pleasure of 3 days in Siem Reap with our private guide Samun, and personal driver (Tear - think that's correct spelling), touring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples in February 2026. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Samun was incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history and made us feel safe and comfortable. He was also good company understanding and accommodating our personal needs. The attention to detail like the cold towels and chilled water bottles after spending time in the heat were always very welcome and appreciated. He also helped to capture the most stunning photos. Samun was professional, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable trip. I would highly recommend Samun and Tear to anyone visiting Siem Reap – they made our trip truly special.
Great day learned a lot about Cambodia culture and Angkor Wat and its history.
This was our first visit to Siem Reap, Cambodia, and we were so fortunate to have connected with Voath! We spent two days visiting the major temples, including Angkor Wat, and the knowledge and legends that Voath shared made the temples come alive for for us. I dont think there was a single question asked that he couldn't answer. Furthermore, he shared his knowledge of herbs, plants, tress and such along the way. The third day we traveled down the Tonle Sap Lake, walked through a local farmer's market with Voath pointing out local produce, seafood and products somewhat foreign to us. It was a fantastic three days and much of it was due to the effort Voath put into making sure everything went smoothly and efficiently. We would not hesitate to use him again!
Visiting Angkor Wat was a very nice experience. The temples themselves are beautiful. Our guide, Voath, was very nice. He was enthousiastic and shared a lot of knowledge about each temple and every carving, explaining the stories and history behind them. Because of his explanations, the tour felt much richer and more meaningful than simply walking through the complex on our own. I also liked that we had conversations about Cambodia itself and daily life. Voath also helped us decide which temples to visit. His recommendations were spot‑on, and it allowed us to make the most of our time without feeling rushed. Overall, the tour was incredibly enjoyable. Voath was a nice addition to the experience, and I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Angkor Wat.
On January 15, we visited Angkor Wat. First of all, it truly feels like another world — it’s hard to believe that people built something like this centuries ago. The beauty here is something you simply have to see in real life. As for the tour, we were extremely satisfied — mainly thanks to our guide, who turned out to be very smart. He suggested starting the route from the end and moving backwards, and that made a huge difference. We visited the temples almost without any crowds, as if they were opened just for us. I’d also like to highlight the guide’s English. After Vietnam, where we mostly had to explain things with gestures, it was a real pleasure to have someone who spoke fluently, confidently, and with a great accent — special respect for that. He was warm, open, and knew exactly where to get the best shots. Without him, we definitely wouldn’t have created so much amazing content. Another big plus — the communication was quick and easy a few days before the tour, which I really appreciated. I truly hope to come back in the future and experience the same emotions and enjoyment once again.
Visited temples, Kulen mountain, waterfall, thousand Linga river, Really awesome country with friendly, humble people. Knowledgeable guide, well spoken and experienced.
We had an amazing tour of Cambodia last month. Voath ( pronounced as Wat) was our guide for Siem Reap. Very friendly and polite. He knows the temples well! He is enthusiastic about Siem reap. He took us to less explored temples too. Highly recommended.
Steven was exceptional! He speaks both English and Korean and his dedication to knowledge about Ankor Wat and all the temples was fantastic. Also, we really appreciated his overflowing love of his country, culture and food. His photo skills were so cool! We have such fun and beautiful photos due to his tips! We highly recommend Steven!
Steven was so much more than a tour guide for my wife & I. Yes, he is ridiculously knowledgeable of the wonders of Angkor & its history. But what endeared us to him was the other things: showing us the vantage points from where we took the most wonderful & memorable pictures; his knowledge of the local flora (Venus flytrap plants!), his contagious respect for the history of this amazing land. He was able to adapt our itinerary to our whims & was a true joy to be with. I’m writing this from an idyllic tropical island now, but my wife & I both miss his company. Can’t recommend him highly enough!
Samun was an amazing experienced tour guide that provided us more than we expected we needed, helped us navigate the Angkor temples, language and provided us with many great suggestions and options for our trip. We highly recommend coming to Cambodia and visiting this magical country. It is safe and so friendly and the Cambodian people continuously provide some of the best hospitality you can ask for. If you are thinking of coming this is the time to come they are giving five star quality service and experience. Angkor temples are what books are written about the magical and historic wonders of these temples are something to experience in your life time.
Our tour of Angkor Wat and nearby temples with Samun was fantastic! He’s incredibly knowledgeable about Cambodian history and shared stories that made each temple come alive. His humor and friendly energy kept the day fun, and he set a great pace. We saw so much without ever feeling rushed. If you’re visiting Siem Reap, don’t miss a tour with Samun — he made our Angkor Wat experience truly unforgettable!
Had an awesome time with Samun touring Angkor Wat and a few other temples. He spoke very good English and is very knowledgeable about Khmer culture and history.
Did a two-day tour of Angkor Wat with the guidance of a very knowledgeable guide, Samun. He enthusiastically told us about the temples and their history. The guide showed us the most beautiful spots and paid great attention to our wishes and interests.
My guide was brilliant. He was very knowledgeable. Explained all the walls and features of the temple complex. He was kind and helpful. Great guide.
Tour of temple complex was great though sapping humidity and tiring. Tour experience with our guide was too good. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. Our guide was excellent. Not easy really but our guide was the interface. He helped us especially my wife to go through the rigour of the walk
We had a lovely day with Voath as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny and kind. He could tell us a lot about the tempels and showed us some hidden spots where only a few tourists were. We really enjoyed getting to know more about Cambodian culture and the tempels and their history.
This was one of the best tours we’ve ever done! Watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat was absolutely magical, and the “small tour” around the other temples made the day even more special. Our guide, Voath, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable — he shared fascinating stories not only about the temples but also about Cambodia’s history and local customs. We learned so much and truly enjoyed every moment. A bit of rain at the end of the tour was just part of the local experience. Highly recommended!
A great tour with Steven Jays in Ankor Wath, full of great impressions and charming narratives. We felt perfectly looked after at all times and can highly recommend him as a guide! Thanks, Steven 🤗🫶!
