We booked with Journey Cambodia from Switzerland. I was very impressed with: - fast response time (less than 24h) - asking a couple of questions, then came up with an itinerary which we slightly adjusted, based on personal preferences - fast price quote and confirmation All this happened early 2026 and I couldn't wait for the vacations taking place in October. Upon arrival, our tour guide Bun and driver Sambath awaited us at the airport. They stayed with us during the whole time in Siem Reap and both of them are highly professional, friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. One highlight was the evening outside of the city in a rice field where we could cook and enjoy a nice sunset. Worth visiting again!

Magnificent 3 day Angor Wat experience with Mr Suk. His knowledge , presentation and skilful manner and personality was superb and really made the tour. We can't rate Suk highly enough ! My family and I spent 6 nights in Siem Reap this July 2026. We hired the services of Journey Cambodia to make a customized 4 day private tour to cover all the temples we needed to see. And I must say they did a splendid job in creating the perfect and most comprehensive itinerary for us! We were assigned the best tour guide , Mr. Sok Chea who spoke fluent English and had excellent knowledge of Cambodian history. Listening to his stories was like going back in the time of the Gods. Very detailed. Sok was always on time in picking us up and made sure we reached our hotel safely at the end of the tours. He also takes very good photos which is such a bonus for us girls who love to pose 😝For English speaking travelers, we highly recommend Sok Chea and Journey Cambodia to take care of you while in Siem reap.

We did the 2-Day Siem Reap tour with Sopheap. It was a wonderful experience and we were well looked after with cold water and towels when boarding the air conditioned bus. Sopheap was an enthusiastic and personable guide that not only shared the history but also elements of Cambodian culture - a great insight!

We had a blast during the whole trip. It was good organized, and we had a very kind and knowledgeable guide (Sopheap Rath) who made the trip truly special due to his ability to explain the history. We got to se A LOT of beautiful temples, and the last day, the floating village trip was also great. Would 10/10 recommend this trip.

We came to visit Angor wat and our travel company booked us Journey Cambodia. We got very lucky to have Sakriya and Vireak. They both took care of us extremely well throughout our stay. They were flexible, supportive and patient. Sakriya is an amazing guide who is extremely passionate about his country and so knowledgeable. He took us to all the important parts, gave excellent tour of the temples, suggested great food places, stopped to try the local delicacies and to top it all an excellent photographer and took stunning pictures. We made a change to our itinerary to see thousands of lingas and they were so supportive and accomodated our request at the last minute. We are so happy with the entire trip and are carrying wonderful memories back home. Vireak is a wonderful driver, very courteous, always ready with chilled water bottles and cold towels with a pleasant smile and took care of us. We recently spent three nights and days at Siem Reap and found it to be an unforgettable experience, with memories that will stay with us for many decades. Cambodia’s rich heritage expressed through its temples and sites have extraordinary ambassadors in the form of Journey Cambodia’s team members. We were privileged to have Mr. Lim Bunthang (AKA Mr. Bun) as our tour guide for two days ably assisted by his team member, Mr. Em Sambath, who drove us around. Mr Bun, our guide, is fluent in English and very knowledgeable about the history, culture, mythology, religion, politics, architectural and archeological underpinnings of the sites he took us to see. He wove beautiful stories using all these perspectives to bring the 10 century old sites alive for us. With his 15 years experience and national certification in the tour industry - he was also very good at making sure that he found the optimal walking routes and vantage points to show us the best views. Some of the sites require careful navigation of the boardwalks and steps - Mr Bun helped and facilitated so that we felt safe going up and down. Mr Bun is very polite with a great sense of humor and we really enjoyed and benefited from our time with him. He is also very well read and articulate and some of our best moments were listening to his dispositions on Cambodia’s recent history and economy. He built a bridge from the ancient to the modern that helped us understand where Cambodia was and where it is today. When we returned tired and hot back to our car - Mr Sambath, our driver, was there with chilled water and eucalyptus scented cold towels to revive and refresh us. A very careful driver, Mr Sambath took excellent care of us on the numerous excursions we went on. He too had a great sense of humor. Right from the time we contacted Journey Cambodia online - we had an amazing experience working with Ms. Karona (AKA Ms. Ana). As our tour planning consultant, Ms. Ana was prompt and detailed in her communications and helped put together a comprehensive and excellent itinerary that made the best use of our limited time in Cambodia. Journey Cambodia is a local firm started by Mr. Boret Ream (AKA Mr. Bo). He was gracious in inviting us to Journey Cambodia’s staff get together while we were there. With about 20 years experience in the industry, Mr Bo told us that he started Journey Cambodia 10 years ago as a way to provide employment to his countrymen and women and plow back the profits into Cambodia rather than see money move out of country as happens with the larger international tour companies. He selects the best guides and staff and is growing the firm very careful to ensure the best service and experience possible to the guests who visit his country. In general we found the Cambodian people very gracious and welcoming and this was true at the Journey Cambodia staff get together too - other guides and drivers and the front office staff came by and welcomed us in a very hospitable and non-intrusive manner. Mr. Bo has a great team and we wish them all the best for the future 🙏🏽

Highly recommend booking your Siem Reap tour with Journey Cambodia. The itinerary was excellent, taking us to incredible off-the-beaten-path temples, and they were very accommodating to our family (we travel with young children). We also had the opportunity to spend the late afternoon cycling around a small village surrounded by rice paddies and locals living their regular lives, after which we enjoyed delicious snacks watching the sun set over the rice paddies - couldn’t think of a better way to cap off a long but thoroughly enjoyable day! Our guide, Bun, was fantastic—knowledgeable, insightful, and able to share firsthand perspectives from growing up in Siem Reap and witnessing the country’s recent history. Our driver, Sambath, was equally wonderful. He always anticipated our needs with water, cool towels, and more, and his warm smile perfectly reflected the kindness and positivity we’ll always remember Cambodia for.

Awesome trip in Cambodia thanks to journeys of Cambodia!! We were referred to them by my sister who just had a great experience. we also requested for Mr Lim Bunthang (Mr Bun) he took care of our group of5, like we were his own family, explained every question we had patiently . Mr Sam pat the driver was a very careful and skilled driver. They had a bottle of cold water and cold towels for each one of us after each temple tour. I highly recommend both of them, and would definitely be asking for them next time I come here.

We had an absolutely fantastic 2.5-day tour of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with our guide Chhay and driver Rada. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Cambodia. Chhay is an exceptional guide. His knowledge of the history of the Khmer Empire, the symbolism in the carvings, and the stories behind each temple was incredible. He explained everything clearly and in a way that made the temples come alive. You can tell he genuinely loves sharing his country’s history. Beyond that, he is a humble, kind, and thoughtful person who made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Rada, our driver, was equally wonderful. He was always punctual, professional, and attentive. After every temple visit, he welcomed us back with cold water and refreshing towels — which was so appreciated in the heat. We felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire time. If you are visiting Angkor Wat and want a knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely warm team, we highly recommend Chhay and Rada. Excellent 2,5 days. First day across the siem reap region with Sak and his driver , to watch different temples. We had a great time and really enjoyed the visits with an extremely knowledgeable guide. The second day was spent in and around Angkor wat, also with Sak and again an excellent experience, where our guide showed us the best spots and got us the best places for photography in all venues. He is also an accomplished photographer himself. Highly recommended ! Last half day spent with Joan (or Goan, sorry) and his driver to visit the floating villages and a boat trip. Super nice guide and a very exclusive experience as we were alone. Interesting to see the boat houses and to learn about the local history.

Took the Angkor Wat Sunrise tour with Journey Cambodia .We had a great experience with our tour guide PAL. He was very knowledgeable with Cambonia history, very respecful and he went way beyond the service, very accomodating. He brought us to the place to rent a local custome and had a photoshot at Angkor Wat. Our driver is Rada who drove as safely ,accomodated and helped one of our companion was on wheelchair.

Amazing tour our experience was enhanced experience by our knowledgeable tour guide, Bun, and our helpful driver Sambath The 2.5 days tour was exactly what we were looking for and delivered great value for money. Fabulous sunrise at Angkor Wat, with the best view, followed by a great choice of temples was perfect, the sunset in the rice field was the perfect end to a great day. Bun’s knowledge of the history of the temples and the Buddhist and Hindu religions was exceptional probably the best tour guide I’ve had from many. Nothing was too much trouble and he provided great insight in to the history of Cambodia. The 1/2 day tour of Tonle Sap and flooded forest was informative and provided an insightful view of lake life. Would definitely recommend Journey Cambodia with Bun and Sambath.

Really great tour for what you see it’s great value. Sok chea, our guide was fantastic teaching us all about the ancient Khmer culture as well as modern Cambodia. The bus was also really nice and comfy, ice cold water with menthol cold towels were a real bonus! Only feedback would be the lunches were a bit expensive excluded from tour (cheapest option around $7 excl. drink), would be good to have some more budget friendly options

This tour was an amazing experience, and absolutely the best way to experience Siem Reap, Angkor, and other nearby areas. Our guide, Bun, was incredibly knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions we had about the temples or life and history in Cambodia. Both he and our driver, Dara, were very kind and willing to adjust to what we wanted, such as stopping on our way to a temple to watch the monkeys. The amount of time at each place was perfect, and was adjusted to us so we could stay as long or short as we wanted. Additionally, the view of the sunset from a private house in the rice fields, which is specific to this company, was amazing. I would highly recommended this experience, as well as both Bun and Dara to any looking to explore Siem Reap and Cambodian temples.

Travel agent (journey Cambodia) is excellent. The most memorable thing is having great tour guide (Mr Sok) and humble driver Mr water (or Mr. Sombat), who always keeping their excellent services to make the trips great. Mr Sok is a good photographer too. I recommend them to be your tour guide if you visit Siem Reap.

One could not imagine what's waiting to be discovered in Angkor Wat complex, and the best way to explore it is with a expert professional tour guide like Mr. Bun, very deeply competent and ready to answer to all questions, which can let you dive into this ancient culture, and a skillful driver (not an easy job in south east asia!) like Mr. Dara, available for every little necessity and always very helpful with fresh water and refreshing towels always available. The beauties of this country deserve to be known around the world, so if there's any doubt I can suggest to choose Cambodia instead of inflating other crowded tourism spots.

The highlights of the tour were Angkor Wat early morning sunrise and the Pink temple. We spent 3 wonderful days in Siem Reap with Bun (Tour guide) and Keal (bus driver). They gave us all the information about the history of this beautiful country and and took us around the city and main sites in the surroundings. I found Bun very prepared about the topics we asked him, gave us many details that you can't find in the books or internet, allowing us to know better also the culture, the society and the habits of the country. On the top, Bun's simpathy and kindness let us to have a lot of fun and pleasant moments during the trip. Keal drove us around safely, also being very gentle during the trip (for example providing us fresh water, refreshing towels). I highly recommend this agency, and especially Bun and Keal. Mr Bun was knowledgeable in almost all topics needed for our tour and always ready to answer our questions. He is very polite and fluent in English. The tour days were very well planned that let us have a good free time in the evening to explore city around. Mr Ousa’s driving was very safe on all roads. Overall, we got a perfect vacation for us.

The best experience ever. We started early and got our best vantage point to soak in and capture the beauty of sunrise Against the great temple of Angkor.

Fantastic private tour with our amazing guide Sam (Samneang Ty) and driver Keal. Sam's knowledge about and love for his country is infectious, there was no question he couldn't answer. Day 1, temples on the grand circuit with a stop for lunch in a lovely, clean restaurant. Amazing sights, Sam knew all the best places for a great photo too. Day 2 was the early sunrise at Angkor Wat which was so peaceful and calm before the start of a busy day. Then breakfast, Ta Prohm and Angkor Thom and Bayon. Each time we got back in the car, Keal was waiting with cold water and a damp, cold cloth infused with eucalyptus. Day 3 was a boat trip on the (low at this time of year) Tonle Sap with a quick visit to Chong Kneas. When I said how saddened I was to see that the souvenirs there were largely foreign, Sam suggested we drive to the Made in Cambodia market. He and Keal were happy to give us time to browse before taking us back to our hotel. I would thoroughly recommend this private tour, everything is at your own pace and your guide has so much time for just your party. If you've got Sam and Keal, you're very lucky indeed.

We spent three marvelous days with Samneang (“Sam”) Ty exploring the temples and floating villages that make Siem Reap such a draw. Sam is a fabulous guide. He made our trip to Cambodia warm, educational, fun, and happy. He is a fount of knowledge and his elegant English ensured that his wide-ranging talks on Cambodian history, ecology, and culture were riveting. He has a deep appreciation of his home country and an enormous love for the area. Kosal, (“Sal”) our driver, was wonderfully friendly and a very careful and conscientious driver who kept our large van sparkling clean.
