Today's tour was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end, starting with the breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat. The guide, Siem Sao, speaks excellent English and made the entire experience truly exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the temples, their symbolism, and countless fascinating details that brought each site to life. Throughout the day, he was attentive, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing Cambodia's remarkable heritage. He was also very mindful of my safety during both the drives and the walks through the temple complexes. His kindness and willingness to help were evident in every moment, even taking beautiful photos for me as a thoughtful courtesy. Considering the intense heat, he made sure I always had cold bottled water and refreshing cold towels, which made a huge difference and were greatly appreciated. The tuk-tuk driver also deserves special recognition. He was extremely kind, careful, and courteous throughout the journey, making every transfer comfortable and enjoyable. In the afternoon, I decided to hire Siem again to visit Banteay Srei, the famous "Citadel of Women," renowned for its exquisite pink sandstone carvings. Although it is located about 32–35 kilometers from the center of Siem Reap, much farther than the main Angkor temple complex, it was absolutely worth the trip. The journey was as rewarding as the destination itself, both for its extraordinary beauty and its rich history. Siem continued to share his knowledge with enthusiasm, and it was especially clear how passionate he is about Banteay Srei. His explanations made this remarkable temple even more meaningful and memorable. I highly recommend this tour and, above all, I highly recommend Siem as a guide. His expertise, professionalism, generosity, and genuine enthusiasm transformed an already incredible destination into an unforgettable experience.
Great tour. Siem was a terrific guide and our tuk-tuk driver was fantastic. I have mobility issues with stairs, and when I got to a set I didn’t think I could do, I was able to rest and wait for my partner and friend. After that, Siem had the driver pick us up just outside the ruin, so a bit less walking for us. 7000 steps in all for me. We saw 3 temple ruins, all different from one another. His storytelling and descriptions were very welcome and helpful. It was thoroughly enjoyable even with all the stairs.
Absolutely incredible day at Angkor! Our guide Siem was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and clearly proud to share the history and cultural context behind the temples, which made the whole experience come alive. He knew exactly where to go for the best sunrise views, and whilst it’s an early start, it’s so peaceful and quiet then, which adds to the charm. Our tuktuk driver was also wonderful, keeping us comfortable with cold water and refreshing towels between stops. My partner and I had an incredible experience at Angkor Wat with Siem. From even before the beautiful sunrise view, our host made the day seamless and easy as can be. As first time travelers to Cambodia, we were so happy to have a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced guide to plan out our day and take us through the itinerary as presented. There was no pressure to check the map, review the itinerary, or figure out what to do next. Siem and his group had it all coordinated. Siem was personable and easy to talk to. We enjoyed getting to know him, hearing about the history of the Khmer civilization, and spending the day making a new friend from across the globe. We felt safe every step of the way. We enjoyed the flexibility to tour at our pace, explore our interests, and take plenty of photos. We would recommend Siem and his group to anyone looking for an in-depth look into the history of the temple, the local culture, and who values the uniqueness of a private tour.
Siem was incredibly all around. The night before our tour my little one had a stomach ache so we missed the sunrise but Siem was very flexible and moved out tour to later in the morning. He customized the stops based on our core interests. He’s VERY knowledgeable of the temples and history and we really enjoyed spending the day with him. Highly recommend

A special touch that made us extra happy was returning to our tuk-tuk after exploring the temples to find ice-cold water and refreshing wet towels waiting for us. It was exactly what we needed! What an amazing day! My tour guide Siem was such a gem. He arrived promptly at my hotel and we tuk-tuk'd over to the temples. It was a better experience than I could have ever imagined! He knew all of the spots to get better photos than everyone else. He fully explained everything in great English (he is an English teacher when he's not a tour guide!) and it was just amazing. This is one of the best things my daughter and I did on our trip to South East Asia, and the best tour we have spent money on. Samnang, our tour guide, was lovely, knowledgeable, and so helpful. When we expressed a desire to eat a local sweet treat called palm cake, he detoured the trip to pick up palm cake from the village where it is made. Going to Angkor Wat and the other temples is an amazing experience, but going with a local tour guide like Samnang, by tuk tuk, really took it to another level of special.

Siem led a really great tour around Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm & Bayon. He was very knowledgeable about each place we visited, was glad to answer all of my random questions about the tour stops and life in Cambodia in general, all in perfect English and a smattering of Spanish. I tore a meniscus right before my trip, so I was a little limited in mobility. We have Mr.Siem as our tour guide and he is very patience, friendly and flexible. He is knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions and share insightful information about local history and cultural. He makes sure we are comfortable with the route as there are some climbing needed, and took good care of us. Mr. Siem took awesome photos and videos, and go above and beyond to create memorable videos (ready for social media posting)! All I have to say is Book it!!! My family and I had an amazing time visiting Angkor wat and surrounding temples with our guide Siem Sao. There were seven of us on our private tour and right from the start Siem and his team of TUK TUK drivers were welcoming and accommodating. We didn’t realize that in order to save time we should have purchased tickets a day ahead but no problem. We made it in time to witness the beauty that is sunrise over Angkor Wat. Siem took the time to share stories and history so we had a basic understanding of the historical significance prior to entering the temple. Also…I don’t know if you enjoy beautiful photos of your family but this is a skill that Siem is very talented at as well. He took us to a lovely restaurant for breakfast/lunch and checked off the remaining two temples on the list after. I wish we had more than two days in Siem Reap because we’d be booking Siam Sao again if we did. Do yourself a favor and book this tour and ask for Siem. 🇰🇭✌🏼😎
We enjoyed a sunrise tour with Siem, and he was just the most amazing guide in every way! Messaged us on WhatsApp the day prior just to reconfirm everything, which was great. Siem definitely knows all the best spots to take in the sights and get the best photos! We were able to get some amazing views of Angkor Wat with the sunrise, and weren't cramped with everyone else. We loved that our day was flexible based on what we wanted to see and do...not just a cookie cutter tour where you're herded around from place to place. Siem's knowledge is to be commended...he has so much information to share with us and kindly answered all of our questions throughout the day. No problems with pick up-on time, and i have seen 4 temples that i wouldn't do it by my self. After visit every temple, there will be lots of water and cold towel for us to cooling down after walking under the sun. Our tour guide is very friendly and he shares lots of information about cambodia history, political and even takes a very nice photos for us. All in all definitely recommended for every one looking for an unique experience
This was my first time travel to Siemreap, cambodia and booked a tour in last minute and turn out to be great to have sam as a tourguide. He was very patient to answer all questions we asked.
