Itinerary
The architecture and layout of the successive capitals bear witness to a high level of social order and ranking within the Khmer Empire. Angkor is therefore a major site exemplifying cultural, religious and symbolic values, as well as containing high architectural, archaeological and artistic significance.
Angkor Thom, literally: “Great City”, contains several of the must-see temples and ancient sites including Bayon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Baphoun Temple, and many more. It's a must-visit on a trip to Siem Reap and its ancient temples.
The Bayon's most distinctive feature is the multitude of serene and smiling stone faces of The Buddha - probably modeled on the face of King Jayavarman VII - on every side the many towers that jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak.
Baphuon of Udayadityavarman II (reigned 1050–66); and the Buddhist temple of Bayon, which was the central temple built by Jayavarman VII when he gave the city, which was later known as Angkor Thom, or “Great City,” its more or less final form.
Ta Nei temple is a very small and rarely visited temple. The lack of other visitors is one of many reasons why you should visit this amazing temple.
Built from 1186 and originally known as Rajavihara (Monastery of the King), Ta Prohm was a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few temples in the Angkor region where an inscription provides information about the temple's dependents and inhabitants.
Banteay Kdei, a massive Buddhist monastery from the latter part of the 12th century, is surrounded by four concentric walls. Each of its four entrances is decorated with garudas, which hold aloft one of Jayavarman VII's favourite themes: the four faces of Avalokiteshvara.
Prasat Kravan temple is a 10th century Hindu temple dedicated to VIshnu. It's a relatively small temple when compared to other temples in the park.

My guide Titya was great and very kind, we stopped at all the temples and were able to enjoy them at our own pace
A great day, you must do it . Tuk tuk is the only way to go as you get to see more of the area as you move from site to site. History is both complex and interesting. Angkor Wat is a must see
Simply great. Cannot experience without a driver (who suggested a seperate guide)
Driver/tour guide was excellent, and spoke good English. We went everywhere advertised in a flexible manner to avoid the biggest crowds, plus he suggested the Amazon Angkor dinner show which was excellent.
Very good evening tour Very qi
Great afternoon learning about Cambodia’s history and seeing Ankor Wat. It was fun to see Siem Reap via tuktuk.
Guide was great. He was knowledgeable and kind.
Our driver for the day was wonderful. Took us where we wanted to go, explained everything to us very well. We will be back next year to explore more.
Tityarin was an excellent driver, highly recommended. He was waiting for us with water and cold tissues, and he attended to all our requests.
Very good! Thank you very much.
Nice driver good English . This is not a tour guid . You need to book it separately!!
We had a great day visiting Angkor Wat and other temples Driver was punctual and very helpful Recommend
Great driver did everything we asked of him.
Anymore Wat is something else...so many temples, amazing architecture and art. Out guide Titya was a delight - driving us inbetwern places and cooling us down with cold towels and water. A highly recommended day.
Sophal was amazing! It started to rain and he was a champ! Thank you so much!
Soppal and Titiya were great guys and took us where we wanted to go. The temples close at 6pm beware of that! But after 5:40 is free Make sure you cover knees and shoulders or you can’t go in
Friendly and great sense of humour. Would definitely use again.
Really good and comfortable experience, thanks to Titya for the great day!
Titya was an amazing driver! Very kind, thoughtful, and always made sure we had water in the heat. A wonderful way to see Angkor Wat!
Sophal was such a patient, flexible driver, he adjusted the Rico our needs and made sure we were safe and happy the entire time. Totally recommended!
Well done, I've been to Ankhor Wat. Cross that off the once in a lifetime experience.... Great for those who love a really, really long walk. Altbough once you've seen a temple you have seen them all. Our driver sohpal was really great though, lovely guy, proffesional and accomodating.
Sophal is a very nice driver and provides a great service to his customers. He is helpful and cares about your comfort : gives you cold water and towels eveytime you need it along the journey. That's a 5 stars service my friend.
Great tuktuk transportation through Angkor Wat. Sophal was very well prepared with towels and lots of water. He recommended a tour guide for $60 but I opted to do my own self paced tour with an audio guide and had an amazing time. Definitely need to book transportation between temples as it is quite a walk between them. Highly recommend this one as it was very accommodating, didn’t rush me and let me take it at my own pace which I really appreciated.
Excellent service! The guide Sorphorn was engaging and informative, and the driver Mr Tha Tha ensured a comfortable air conditioned ride all day with cold water and wet wipes. Both were friendly and pleasant creating a stress-free and memorable trip. Couldn’t have asked for better!
The tuk tuk driver was excellent. The guide excellent. The ruins amazing
Sok was a very helpful and gracious driver. Cool towels are great! Ready to help anytime.
Titya was an excellent driver, spoke English and was very attentive. Highly recommend
Everything was OK, the driver, Sophal was a good one. He speaks english. A nice trip.
Had a great trip round Angkor with our driver Hoy Sophal. Would recommend the service! Booked the Sunrise at Angkor Wat and he was ready, waiting and smiling for us in the hotel lobby. Made sure we were prepared for the trip and our passes were in check! Found us a nice spot for lunch when we needed it, we had brought some fruit with us and while we catching the sunrise he had placed it on ice so we returned to cold fresh fruit. Which was really nice.
This is a “must-do” experience in Siem Reap. Hoy Sophal was an amazing with great English skills. He went above and beyond!
Great tour, Sophal was very accommodating and had cold towels waiting for us after every stop. Great experience!
The driver was on time. Very attentive. We arrived at the sunrise viewing early and got a great spot. The weather was very warm. He had cold hand towels to cool down after visiting each temple. A very enjoyable trip visiting Angkor Wat.

ahoy was amazing…stayed with us the whole trip and was a gem.
Our driver Mr Tityarin was very accommodating, safe driver and very pleasant
Great trip, Sophy was an excellent driver. He took us round safely. He had a cool box with chilled water throughout the journey. Angkor Wat is amazing and full of surprises. It's an experience of a lifetime and a cultural new memory. Temples, statues, monkeys, and lots of steep steps if you're feeling brave!!! I also recommend you get a guide for the main temples as they can tell you so much more, get them on site by the temple entrances.
Sophal, our Tuktuk driver was friendly and a good driver. Hotel pick up was on time and smooth drop off. Always ready with cold water and cool towel after each stop which was much appreciated. Thank you for a great experience,Sophal!
