We begin with a pre-dawn departure (4.30 to 4.40 am depending on the time of year) from your hotel for sunrise outside Angkor Wat. Enter the great temple in darkness from the little-visited eastern side, and creep along hoary cloistered corridors past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world. Soak up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor Wat, from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. We then explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. We end our tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel), and a short rest.

Amazing experience! We got an early pick up straight from our hotel which gave us enough time to sit and enjoy the entire sunrise. Our guide, Sok, was very knowledgeable about each of the temples we went to and he was incredibly kind and friendly. Between temples we returned to a cooled van with cool towels and water. I would certainly recommend a tour with Sok to get the most out of the temples.
This tour was an incredible experience! A great way to see some of the amazing temples in Cambodia. Sadly it was too cloudy for us to see the sunrise, but the rest of the tour absolutely made up for it. The tour guide Mr Pal was incredible, he has so much knowledge to share! I travelled alone and he made sure to snap some pictures for me, which was very appreciated. The driver Ha was very kind and courteous also. A wonderful experience!

TRULY HAD AN AMAZING TIME. Bun was an awesome tour guide. Her was so calm, clear, and knowledgeable. Vichit was also a great driver. He was always ready for us with cold waters and cool towels :) We were with a small group of 5 (2 of us plus 3 more) and we had lots of fun learning exploring and getting to know each other. What a wonderful sunrise tour. Started with a prompt collection in a lovely air conditioned bus driven by Dara who constantly supplied us with bottles of ice cold water and cold cloths. Sac was our first guide and he was super knowledgable and shared his childhood lifestyle with us ❤️ Angkor Wat was everything and more . Just beautiful and Sac got us to the most perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Sadly he had to leave us and get your guide swiftly replaced him with Sarudn who was equally as knowledgeable and friendly. We saw a few temples and loved the stories that came with the tour. Well worth the visit The feeling of calm, kindness and gentleness all the way through is what struck us immensely. Beautiful people

Sak was an outstanding tour guide and truly brought to life the spirit and history of Ankor Wat. He was a passionate and animated story teller who kept us all engaged with what we were seeing. I thought I was “templed out” until I did this tour, it’s all about the guide and going with Sak was 100% the right choice. He also knew the exact approach to navigate the temples. The service was excellent, I learnt a lot about the different temple sites, the atmosphere was relaxed and left room for questions, photo shootings and individual requests. Tour started early but was well worth it for the views and to beat some of the heat of the day. Our guide Sauron Pal and driver Naro took us around to a couple of different temples, they also did a great job at exploring the historical significance behind the sites.

Nang and Kea were great, Kea driving us and supplying us with water and refreshing flannels, and always there at points throughout the trip to pick up and drop us off, Nang had so much knowledge and took us around and explained the history of all that we were seeing. The sunrise was amazing, it was an early start but when you see it then getting up so early is worthwhile, the temples were amazing and it was fascinating to hear some of the history behind them! I was in a small group, me, a lady and a couple and they were all lovely so I feel the trip was great and well worth the money, thanks to both guys for making it such a worthwhile and enjoyable trip.
A wonderful experience, following recommendations, via Journey Cambodia. We were picked up from our hotel, with plenty of guidance on what to do beforehand (buy a ticket online, ask for a hotel breakfast pack etc), and we arrived at Angkor Wat ahead of the crowds to bag a prime spot, ready for sunrise. The temple complex is huge - over 1000 monuments - and we enjoyed guided visits to 3 sites, plus the wonderful Victory Gate and Elephant Terrace. Our tour guide - Sauron Pal - knew all the best places to visit, and freely shared his expert knowledge about them, and the history and religions of Cambodia. He was also an excellent photographer, and helped us capture great shots, as a wonderful reminder of our day. Our driver had towels and cold water ready for us whenever we returned to the bus, which was comfortable and clean. There were plenty of time for a breakfady stop, several loo stops, and nothing was too much trouble for him and our driver. A long morning which was a great introduction to Cambodia.
The trip was very informative and interesting. Chhay our tour guide had excellent knowledge and gave us just the right amount of information to make it really interesting.
