We had a wonderful day! Our tour guide Sopheap Rath was very knowledgeable and explained a lot (and he took the best slow motion videos of us). It was really nice and helpful to learn about the meaning of the carvings and temples and we enjoyed the whole day to the fullest. Our driver Nath was also amazing and always waited for us with water and cool towels. We also had an amazing meal at Khmer Village Restaurant. We all can recommend the tour to everyone looking for an amazing experience and wanting to learn more about Khmer culture, tempels and its history!

Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. (depending on your hotel location) to visit Angkor Wat. Travel to the ticket office takes about 15 to 30 minutes. After purchasing your ticket, it will take another 15 minutes to reach Angkor Wat.This Mooning you will explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the longest base-relief carvings in the world, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire.
On the road from Angkor Wat, this is the good point of entry to the city for more visitors. All five gates similar, but the south Gate has been the most extensively restored and the it the most complete, this place your tour guide will take about 20 minutes explanation before continue to visit Bayon temple
Located inside Angkor Thom city.
Bayon Temple is sufficiently compact to allow for any order of visit, especially since the absence of a surrounding wall makes it easy to enter. The maze-like inner enclosure, with its narrow chamber corridors and stairways, provides occasional surprise glimpses of the enigmatic faces, making it a fascinating experience. Additionally, you will learn a lot from your tour guide during the tour.
Enjoy lunch at your own expense, and a rest break before move on to the jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm – one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s, when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered’ this crumbling site. After exploring the maze-like interior of Ta Prohm, return to your hotel after a long but fulfilling day, which will leave you with a lifetime of memories of one of the wonders of the world before head back to hotel city Siem Reap.

I recommend this amazing tour with Sopheap… very knowledgeable about the Cambodia history, he was able to manage to change a bit the schedule to please the client and follow the beat of the client so I totally enjoyed…
We had an excellent day trip with friends exploring Angkor Wat in a Tuk Tuk. The weather was on a little warmer side, but the fresh breeze in the Tuk Tuk was very welcoming. Our Tuk Tuk rider was Ron and he was very accommodating to our demands. With excellent services. Cold towel after every temple visit and chilled water at a regular intervals. We visited main Angkor Wat temple plus three more. The state of the ruins is very bad. But the conservation process is slow & steady. Any trip is as good as its operator or guide. Our Tuk Tuk driver (Rorn +855 96 384 7664) made our day, in fact all three days we stayed here in Siem Reap. The city is above par than any Vietnamese City we visited. Clean and organised. City gave us a vibe of calmness and relaxed. Viva Cambodia, we enjoyed our short visit here. Importantly, ticking off Angkor Wat off my bucket list very satisfyingly.
Very well arranged. But it's all in the guide you get. We were lucky to have Tan. We ended up asking him to spend another day with us. Aside from the temples and the history stuff, he also got us into great restaurants on both days and customized the tour on the spot based on our questions. Ask for Tan when you book the tour.
A wonderful tour! Hotel pickup and drop off was perfect! Joe was an excellent guide! So thorough and knowledgeable! He was friendly and very welcoming! We enjoyed the day and was able to get so much great information about Angkor Wat and Angkor. I highly recommend this tour!
A wonderful tour! Hotel pickup and drop off was perfect! Joe was an excellent guide! So thorough and knowledgeable! He was friendly amd very welcoming! We enjoyed the day and was able to het so much grea information about Angkor Wat and Angkor. I highly recommend this tour!
We were fortunate to go on shoulder season & ended up going solo with our incredible guide Mr.Tan! Not only is Mr Tan knowledgeable about the region’s history, he’s also a very skilled photographer! We had no other local guides to compare him to but we were extremely happy with how he was able to make our trip memorable
Tann was our guide and gave us a 5 star tour. He is a well informed guide and communicated his knowledge to us. ✴️✴️✴️✴️✴️ Phen is a no-drama driver which is quite a feat on the crowded Cambodian roads.
Our tour guide Tann and driver Phen were excellent. Tann was very knowledgeable about Cambodia sites and it's history. Angkor Wat was spectacular as were the other sites. I would give 5 stars to our guide & driver.
Our guide Sam was really good - He was informative and got us all the Best photos - we got water and face towels every time we got on the bus!! Very hot in April but we were treated like queens 😊
Stunning architectural monuments, very knowledgeable guide who was willing to go the extra mile to ensure our complete satisfaction.
The tour was wonderful!! And our tour guide, Samnang, was absolutely amazing. He was very thorough, insightful and knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and the monuments. I would happely and confidently advise anyone and everyone to go on this tour, and especially with Samnang as guide.
Good guide and I have good experience for my new visit. I have good time with my family,my friends and see good view of siem Reap.Cambodia
Had a great time with Tann. He took great care to ensure we were comfortable and had the full experience of the temples. He also pointed out really good spots to take pictures and helped as well. He made the whole tour very informative and engaging Would highly recommend.
Had only a short family trip scheduled for Siem Reap (2 days, 1 night), and needed to find a tour so we could see the most notable temples in our short time period. Found Tann, with Angkor Buddy Tour, an experienced guide who also provided a great driver. Even though we had limited time constraints, Tann managed to take us on thorough tours of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom/Bayon, Ta Prohm (the "jungle temple"), and Banteay Srei. Beyond providing us with intricate descriptions of the carvings, Tann proved to be an expert on knowing the angles for the best photos (and was a much better photographer than me!), allowing us for some very memorable shots. Angkor Buddy was flexible in working around our wishes and our time schedule, and at very reasonable rates. We had a wonderful time.
Great experience from descendants of great Kings of Cambodia I went on a mini Asia Tour for my birthday. Siem Reap Cambodia is one of my destination. Mr. Sopheap Tann and our driver Pan both of Angkor Buddy Tour picked me up in my hotel in Siem Reap Cambodia before the agreed time. I booked for a group tour but it turns out that i was alone for the whole day Angkor Wat tour while the other guests went with the Sunrise Tour. It turned out to be a private tour. That fact alone tells much about how committed Angkor Buddy Tour at giving the best customer experience. They did not cancel the tour even if i am alone. Other establishment like our infamous airlines in the Philippines would have cancelled it considering that only one customer arrived. So we went on our journey of the great Cambodian past around 9th century to the 18th century which was ruled by great Kings of the Khmer Empire like King Jayavarman. We started our journey with the tour of the grand Angkor Wat, a UNESCO heritage known as the biggest Buddhist or Hindu temple of the world. Our tour guide explained about how the warring Hindu Gods resolved their conflicts, which is the basis of the Hindu beliefs today. Through the history of the Hindu gods you will understand why almost all of the temples have Hindu mystical animals like the Naga, which is a water snake and the lions and all the carvings in all the temples we visited. The Angkor Wat is amazing, beautiful and serene. The Cambodian government ensured that the surròunding lands will not be taken over by greedy and unthoughtful businessmen and natives. People are prohibited from building their homes and businesses near the temple grounds except for a few small businesses. The carvings in Angkor Wat is all about the Hindu gods. Then we went to the Angkor Thom which used to be the old city of the Khmer empire. 😊😊 Bayon temple is inside the Angkor Thom city. Again you will see the moat and the Hindu Gods and Evil holding on the Naga, a mystical snake which helps create the holy water the gives everlasting life. Anyway, Bayon temple has towers with four heads of the gods representing 4 virtues. It is one of the temples built by the King Jayavarman VII known as the tolerance king of Cambodia. According to our guide, he is the only King of Cambodia who not only thinks about himself but most especially the people. He was the only King who built 100 hospitals in Cambodia, a temple dedicated to his mother now known as the Ta Phrom temple and a temple dedicated to his father known as the Preah Khan temple. The carvings in Bayon temple tells not only of the Kings life but also of the daily lives of the ordinary Cambodian people. There you will see that they too have wrestling, cock fighting, boar fighting, wars, fishing, selling fish etc. So see, those games starts as early as the 11th century. Then we went to the Ta Phrom temple which is a temple dedicated to the mother of King Jayavarman. It is where one can see nature taking over man made structures. This has become famous because of Angelina Jolie of Tomb raider. It is the place where the movie the Tomb raider is shot. One tree is now called the Angelina Jolie tree. 😊😉 And of course i have my pictures taken there. You may ask why i titled my journey in Siem Reap as Great experience from descendants of great kings. Well it is because my tour guide Sopheap Tann is a great tour guide who is knowledgeable of all the history of the temple, the Kings who built it, passionate at maintaining its sanctity and a great photographer and videographer. He took most of my pictures and videos. I notice some tours are guided by foreigners who speaks foreigners language but nothing beats a local tour guide who loves and knows deeply about the history of Cambodia. Mr. Tann is kind and understanding. He answers my most mundane questions. Our driver, Pan is also kind and understanding. They are not like other tour guides who ripped off their customers or those who forced their customers to give a tip unlike in the Philippines. In fact, when i asked them to eat with me during lunch, they respectfully declined maybe thinking that it might become too costly for me. Unlike some tour guides in the Philippines who will not hesitate to eat with their guests.hahaha😆😆😆 And most of all the tour price is very reasonable. It is only US$25 per person with an air conditined van for the whole 8 hours. Imagine!! In the Philippines, especially in Oslob Cebu, Bohol and Palawan, people will charge a tourist for US$10 for one way.😠 Then the hotels in Siem Reap Cambodia is very affordable. My hotel is only P1,500 and it already looked like a 4 star hotel in the Philippines. Then we went to another small temple which is already more than 1000 years old. Anyway, i say they have great Kings because their Kings have foresight. They built great temples from stones which still stands after almost 1000 years. You can really marvel at how great its construction prowess because the roofs of the temple, its walls and floors are made or hard stones without any cement linking it together. You will be amazed at how they formed the dome shaped roof or the triangle shaped roof using hardstone blocks without metals or cement holding it together. Most temples took more than a decade to build which tells you how patient the Kings were. The carvings on the wall tells you how foresighted the Kings were knowing that anything written on paper will somehow rot and perish and that is why they use the stonewalls to tell their victories, defeat, eveyday lives of both royalty and ordinary people. I told our tour guide, Mr. Tann that they were lucky, they have great Kings who wrote their and their people's story on the walls which is the basis of their history. In so doing, the future generations will know of their history. The Filipinos do not have such great leaders. We only know of our history as early as the 1521 when the Spaniards conquered the Phils. Before that, we knew very little. We only knew there were Itas and Malays who lived in the country but nothing has been written or known about them. My journey into the great Khmer empire of Cambodia was an awesome experience. I highly recommend Angkor Buddy Tour and Mr. Tann and our driver Mr. Pan for the Cambodia tour. I will be back definitely with my friends and/ or family and /or clients because i am not done with exploring Cambodia yet.
Angkor buddy tour serves customers well, takes guests to good places, friendly staff, responsible, especially affordable. I feel refreshed upon receiving a tour organized by Angkor Buddy Toul.
Angkor Wat is naitonl treasure of Cambodia and the most valuable place to visit. I booked full day visit with small group because I want to join with other tourists and listen to the professional interpretion for Angkor Wat. The whole trip was very nice and unforgettable, a mini Van with AC was arranged and the tour guide and the driver were with the group all the time for all temples, umbrella was provided in the rainy morning and cold water was provided in the hot afternoon. Mr. Tann is our tour guide , he is very warm, humorous and professional, he knows the better route to go to avoid the crowded people and always find the good places for photograph, his interpretion was very clear and attractive, the trip was not only a simple sightseeing, we have really learnt a lot about Angkor Wat and even the history of Cambodia, thanks Tann!
Very friendly services and amasing world herirage site, Siem Reap. we have not had a amasing experience that we ever lived.

Thank you for the excellent and knowledgeable tour if Angkor Watt. We were well looked after throughout the tour. The weather was extremely hot but we were providedcwitg aqequate breaks, cold water and cold towels to ensure we could enjoy the experience.
Had a great day visiting three temples. We went to a Angkor Wat, Ta Promh and Bayon. Ta Promh was my favourite, it was like stepping into a movie set. Beautifully restored in parts, others left in ruin like it must have been found after almost a thousand years, and parts of the jungle left growing through it. Our guide Mr Tann was fantastic, enthusiastic in teaching us the history of the temples. He also knew some great photo spots, both portraits and interesting scenes. I chose to skip the sunrise option, I didn’t want to wake up so early. I don’t think I missed much, the temples are amazing regardless. There was a lot of walking, fortunately on the day we went the sun was mostly behind cloud until the afternoon so it didn’t get really hot until the end. Our driver kept the AC cranked in the van and always had ice cold water ready for us so that was great too. The restaurant we were taken to for lunch was expensive by Cambodian standards, but compared to back home it was still good value. The quality of the meal was good. Definitely recommended. I only had one day to visit the temples so I wanted to maximise it by taking a tour and it was well worth it.
Tann was an excellent guide! He explain us everything about the temples and was a really nice person! I have enjoyed a lot this tour.
The trip is organized perfect. One of the best experienced that we had with this one day trip. The guide Tann is the best guide I have ever seen, he is very polite, knows the history, and he has advanced skills in managing people and make their holidays awesome. He not only act as guide but also a good photographer. We gain lot of knowledge by the trip and it was very nice experience in siem reap. I would suggest the tour company and guide for anyone. Best of luck
Tann was super friendly and polite with me and my friend! He took us the best spots and he was super patience throughout the whole trip. I had a lot of fun and he knew the whole story about Angkor Wat!
On the recommendation of our friends, we booked a private Angkor Wat temple tour with four adults with Mr. Tann Sopheap. From the moment we were picked up at our accommodation, we felt in great hands with him. His English is very good, he has a lot of knowledge and experience and also knew the best photo spots! A very good photographer himself, he took very nice souvenir photos with us. He met our interests with great friendliness and answered our questions with great patience. Back on the bus, the very nice driver was waiting for us with cold water, cold towels and a wonderful iced coffee! Very good choice of restaurants for the lunch break. All in all, a harmonious tour and a wonderful day that we will remember very fondly. We also booked our airport transfer in Siem Reap with Mr. Tann Sopheap. Here, too, everything went smoothly and with great friendliness.
