Very knowledgeable and pleasant guide, good fruit snack stop, very nice lunch. Good bikes at sizes we requested. We cycled directly from our hotel, about 40km in total, easy cycling at a moderate pace on flat terrain. The temples we saw were spectacular.
Our tour guide was ok and brought us wisely to the temple at the longest distance first since Angkor Wat is very crowded in the mornings. The day after we took a tuc-tuc early in the morning to see Angkor Wat in the sunrise instead. Be aware that if you are a woman you are not allowed to take the stairs to "heaven" if you just have a scarf to wrap around your legs (which is ok for all other temples including Angkor Wat except the "heaven".
Because of the high temperatures and humidity, we had them replace the bikes with a Tuk Tuk, it was no problem. Our tour guide, Tra, was outstanding. He spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable and lots of fun, especially showing us some phone photo “tricks”. Great tour, highly recommend.
I had such a great time with on this tour. Being on the bike meant we were able to get to places that you couldn’t otherwise. It made for such a beautiful and peaceful experience. My guide Gra was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to have a conversation with. I can’t recommend enough!
H G Ra was an excellent guide. Took our family of 2 adults and 3 children (age 9-16) on a 30 km off road bike road round several of the main temples including Angkor Wat. Some of the best temples to visit were the overgrown smaller ones with no road access so sometimes we were the only people there. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the temples and the stories behind the carvings. We stopped at a local village which gave our children an insight into how the locals live. Excellent lunch stop. Would recommend the lok lak. Plenty of water provided all day.
Our active group of 10 did this tour during Christmas holiday. As beautiful as the temples are, the riding is just as great. Our guides were fun and informative. The riding is off road on dirt trails without traffic. Because we all were strong riders they added a lesser used fun trail for our return after the last temple( about 35km) Bikes were new and they have traditional mountain bikes and e-bikes Loved this tour
I had a wonderful tour with Som. He's very informative, friendly, patient and not to mention, a superb photographer! You will get to see some hidden trails that you never thought exist..
We had the best day cycling from our accomodation with Chira. He was an amazing guide and a lot of our trip was though the jungle. We visited 4 temples around Angkor Watt. The bikes were great quality. We would highly recommend this company.
Our guide, Hean G Ra, was early and eager. He speaks great English and has great knowledge of Angkor and its history. We wound up with a private tour at a cost which was much lower than what other companies were charging for a large group tour. We had good bikes and a filling lunch. The company was accommodating and gave us a free ride to buy our entrance tickets. The best part of the day was when we left the roads and biked jungle trails to reach a temple. Overall a fantastic experience and we highly recommend Hean as a guide.
My guide Roem did a great job setting up the pace and making the journey pleasant and meet my hunger and thirst request. He had a great knowledge of the place and also interesting facts that most likely wouldn't be on guide books. The tour included a nice meal at a local place and the amazing views of the temples while riding the bicycle makes this tour a must.
My tour guide Som was the best tour guide I've ever come across. His English is amazing and his knowledge is even more incredible. I just happened to book on a day when no one else booked this tour so it became a solo tour - best tour ever. He showed me the main temples but also took me through uncommon paths and jungles to incredible ruins and old temples that aren't mainstream and are jyst magnificent and peaceful. I don't think I would have seen any of these hidden gems with any other tour. I can't speak highly enough of Som. He is so personable, and so flexible to your requests. Don't waste any time, ask for Som and DO THIS TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great tour starting with a hotel pick up and sunrise at Angkor Wat. Tour guide, Som, was extremely knowledgeable, very nice and personable. Biking was enjoyable and allowed us to see more sights than most tours in a short time. Definitely recommended.
We took the tour in conjunction with Angkor Zipline. Cycling through town was a bit stressful, though G Ra was very clear with his signals and maintained a reasonable pace. We were able to visit a school and hang out with some children; go to a crocodile farm; stop at a temple; visit a farm; bike through countryside and stop at a lotus farm. G Ra was extremely knowledgeable and informative at all these spots. We never felt rushed and spent as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop. It was great to get out of town and take a break from "temple-ing". G Ra highly recommended!
We did the sunrise Angkor Wat cycle tour and it was phenomenal. We didn't get to see the sunrise because of the weather, but the rest of our day with our guide, Som, totally made up for it. Som was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a comprehensive background of the history of the temples. He knew all the best spots for pictures and took some amazing pictures for my friend and I. Once we started biking we got to see beautiful scenery and less visited temples. There were some spots we visited where we were the only 3 people there. It was simply amazing. We also got 2 meals and a delicious fresh fruit and coconut water break. This was my favorite thing we did in Siem Reap! Som is the man!
We had a fantastic time exploring Angkor Wat with our two guides Sawon and Wat. They were both fantastic, knowledgable and the tour was exactly what we were looking for - sunrise at Angkor Wat and getting around the site on bicycles! The tour was informative and fun. The bikes were great, new and easy to ride. There is some cycling through "jungle" - the terrain is fairly easy with a few small hills and sand. I've never done mountain biking before but it was fun and easy, and Wat our guide was always there to guide me when I needed to slow down or manage the sand! It was lots of fun cycling through the "jungle" to get to each temple. Very peaceful and you avoid the large crowds! Breakfast you can choose between western or local. Lunch was at a Khmer restaurant which was delicious and filling! Our guides let us stop and have breaks during the ride and water was available for free throughout the day! There was even a TukTuk available if we didn't want to ride which felt reassuring. But it was an easy, relatively flat ride so we didn't need the tuktuk! I would definitely recommend the Sunrise Bike Tour! Great way to see Angkor Wat with fun and knowledgeable guides!!
We were met at our hotel, given brand new carbon frame mountain bikes and taken on a 5 hour tour, very good value for money. We were taken through back roads and villages that we we never have found, away from all the traffic. Wat, our bike guide, was clued up and very personable, adapting the trip to our needs as we went along. We were taken by an additional tour guide into Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Prom. He was knowledgeable and added to what we knew already. It was a personalized service with just the four of us. Lots of water and snacks provided and a inclusive Tuk tuk ride back to our hotel after the last temple, which was a nice touch and preferable to cycling back. Suitable for adventurous types or casual riders; very customizable and highly recommended.
