Tom is an extremely competent guide. We learned so much about the Cambodian culture and the temples we visited. 50% of the profits go to serving the community and children specifically!! Cold drinks, clean and air-conditioned vehicle. Definitely recommend Thom for all of your travel needs!!!
Thom-san is very knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and explained many thinks to me. During the two days tour, I visited many areas. I had a great time in Cambodia thanks to Thom-san. Highly recommend it!
Mr Setha was a knowledgeable and compassionate guide, who allowed us to go at a comfortable pace while getting amazing photos and history all rolled into one. The temples he showed us were so incredible! Our driver kept us cool with plenty of A/C, cool cloths, and water (it was 97 degrees and humid!) Plus he was a safe driver, never worried with him behind the wheel. A bonus - we saw several families of monkeys and pulled over to enjoy their antics. Great memories were made!
What an incredible experience at Angkor thanks to Thom and Travel to Inspire! I would highly recommend booking with these guys! We were able to see as much of the temples as we could handle and I have nothing but great things to say about our tour experience. Thom was fantastic in providing background context as well as detailed information about all of the sites we were seeing - his English is phenomenal and knowledge extensive! Book with Thom!
Mr Thom not only picked us up in the most efficient manner, but he also took us around for two days to all of the temples. We did the whole Angkor Wat/Lara Croft tomb raider, took us to lunch, took us to Coolin waterfalls and sat with us through a thunder/lightning storm in which the lights went out, the lightbulb appeared to explode, but they still brought us food! He speaks amazing. English, has a wonderful personality, and was all around one of the best tour guides I’ve ever been lucky enough to deal with. His rates are very reasonable, and he’s just an all-around great guy. I would recommend him 10 times over.
This tour was fun and complete. I came to Siem Riep with my family and we are absolutly delighted with it and have found it very interesting and dinamic. Thom did a great job. He was very nice and made the experience really enjoyable. I recomend it 100% if you want to get to know the history of these amazing temples and a little of the Cambodian culture.
I took the 2-day tour to visit Angkor Wat and all the other temples in the area. I was fortunate to be guided by Ms. Sara, who proved to be very knowledgeable, with a great adventurous spirit, and was very flexible to accommodate the experience I was looking for. I explored all the temples I wanted, with Ms. Sara always providing good suggestions on what o see next. She was always on time for the pick-up, and the tour went superbly. I would recommend a guide to visit the area, otherwise, you might lose a lot of the details. At the end of the day, I felt very happy about the decision. Thank you, Sara, for everything! I really appreciated this tour!
My wife and two adult children and I spent two full days learning about ancient Cambodia from our excellent guide, Thom. His knowledge and ability to convey it made the visit to Siem Reap's temples, palaces and other sites much richer than it would otherwise have been. Just as importantly, his warm personality and attention to the details of each step of the tour made it one of the most enjoyable tours we have ever experienced. Will highly recommend to our friends and family.
We had the distinct pleasure of being brought around by Mr Thom the past 2 days. An English lecturer, he gave us clear and interesting snippets of the various places we visited. More importantly, his warmth as a person shone through. He won over both our kids (aged 3.5 and 6 years old), and our littlest one would regularly run forward to hold 'Uncle Thom's' hand as we were brought around the sights. Would definitely recommend supporting 'Travel to Inspire' and the mission it has undertaken! Looking forward to coming back again!
My girlfriend and I were referred Thom by friends that had visited Cambodia a year ago. I heard he was a very good tour guide but after completing my trip, I’ve now realized he may be not only the best English-speaking tour guide in Siem Reap but also the best human being. From the beginning he made us feel like family, he treated us with the utmost respect and made our entire Cambodian experience. He went above and beyond to even invite us to one of his personal reunions which was one of the kindest things any person has done after only knowing us for 2 days. Rest assure that if you choose Thom and his team (Punny is his driver - another awesome person), then you can guarantee the best experience possible. I live in Washington, DC and visited Singapore, Thailand and Cambodia over the span of 3 weeks.
We spent 2 days seeing all the sights on a private tour Our guide Theany spoke excellent English and has a very thorough knowledge - she was able to answer all my questions about the temples but also happily informed us on Buddhism and life in Cambodia Our driver was also very courteous and drove safely around the sites always keen to offer us chilled water I highly recommend They and this tour
The tour was organised well. The guide & driver were well experienced, knowledgeable, polite & helpful. We enjoyed a lot & learnt many. I strongly recommend to have great trip in the great city Siem Reap. Thanks to travel 2 inspire.
Thom and his team looked after us brilliantly. He was able to explain what we were doing, where we were going and his explanations of the temples were excellent. We have a very good understanding of the culture, history and environment in this fantastic part of the world. Thank you Thom and the Travel to Inspire team.
My daughter and I visited Angkor and were not prepared for the impact it will have on us! Our Guide Thom San from Travel to Inspire is 100% responsible for the unforgettable experience we had! His knowledge of the history of Angkor was mind blowing! He was passionate and a great storyteller! My daughter being a photographer was so thankful for Thom' s constant advice on where to take the best photos and avoid to have too many tourists in the shot!He was charming with a good sense of humour giving us plenty of time to absorb this amazing place .We want to come back to Siem Reap and will definitly stay in contatc with Thom.I also want to say few words about the trainee who was with us during the visit .he was also very funny not intrusive and very helpful in helping me especially going over high steps which ARE EVERYWHERE!Not talking about the hundred of stairs you have to climb! Our tip would be to take a wet towel that keeps cool very good runners (avoid sandals as we go through sand path)be prepared for very very steep and narrow stairs but even with bad knees I climbed everyone of them and was so happy I did! And of course plenty of water.
Sot Ra (Sara) is an excellent tour guide who provided a fun, educational, and friendly experience. Sara is very knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to. She knew all the special places to take photos and when I ran out of battery, she was so generous to use her own phone. Sara exceeded all of my expectations! A special shout out to Mr. Kheng for driving us around! Amazing job!
My family and I went to Cambodia and we were amazed by the Angkor temple, which impressed us even more thanks to the explanations of our guide Thom San. He gave us very important data that gave us a bit of context to that whole monument. Also the floating city was very shocking because you never imagine the lifestyle or that someone could live like that.
My family and I took the two-day tour with Thom San. The temples of Angkor are as spectacular as I imagined, but Thom's explanation made it better. Also, the rest of the temples visited were very surprising and the boat trip to the lake was great. I highly recommend booking this experience.
Thanks to Tom for the two days we spent discovering more temples in the Siem Reap area! This guide is really amazing, a lot of knowledge about religions and the history of Cambodia. Very very friendly and he does not hesitate to propose activities close or on the way (Museum of mines for me + local dance show) according to your desires he adapts the content of the visit (more points for photos / more history / more tranquility...)
