Fantastic 2-day Angkor Wat experience! We did both the sunset and sunrise tours with Journey Cambodia, and it was absolutely brilliant. Our tour guide, Sopheap Rath, gave incredibly interesting explanations at every temple and was deeply knowledgeable about the history. He was always attentive to our needs and made sure we didn’t miss a thing. Our driver, Chet, provided a very safe and smooth drive through the traffic. He was always attentive, welcoming us back to the vehicle with ice-cold water and refreshing wet towels, which were perfect for recovering from the intense heat. What an incredible two-day adventure! From watching the sunset on day one to getting up ridiculously early for sunrise on day two, everything was absolutely brilliant. Vichet, our driver, was a legend. He drove safely and smoothly, always making sure we were comfortable. Cold water and refreshing wet towels were always available. I had an fantastic two-day tour of Angkor and I recommend this agency to anyone visiting Siem Reap. On one day, we explored the Grand Circuit with several beautiful temples and on the other we began with a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat, followed by the small circuit. Both days were incredible. We went to Cambodia to meet the people, learn its history and of course visit the iconic temples and other historic sites. With the help of Sopheap Rath our excellanr tour guide, we were able to achieve this. His knowledge and historical referencing was superb. Our driver Naro also made our trip comfortable.

An experience of a lifetime — extraordinary temples, wonderful people, and an unforgettable sunset Our two-day Temple Highlights tour with sunset and sunrise through Journey Cambodia was exceptional. Angkor Wat is the most awe-inspiring place I have ever seen—beyond anything I could have imagined. Our guide, So, was extremely knowledgeable and brought the temples and their stories to life. For an experience this extraordinary, I highly recommend a private tour: being able to tailor the pace to your needs makes such a difference. Towards the end of our first day, So gave us the option of visiting another temple or returning to the hotel for a shower. We chose the shower! That flexibility made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Our driver, Mr. Sambath, was a beautiful soul. He always welcomed us back to the SUV with a huge smile, an ice-cold cloth, and a fresh bottle of water. He also offered me his hand every time I stepped out of the car. Those thoughtful gestures meant so much. But what made this experience even more meaningful for me was the sunset. I had expected to sit in front of a temple with dozens of other tourists. Instead, we were taken to a farmhouse belonging to the owner of Journey Cambodia, who told us he wanted to share the real Cambodia with us. We watched the sun set over the rice fields. I even caught a catfish and was offered the chance to have it fried for me—I declined! Then my husband and I enjoyed delicious food and ice-cold beer as we watched the sunset together. At one point, I wondered whether we had wandered onto the set of The Bachelor. It was that romantic! And all of this was included in our two-day tour. What stayed with me was their pride in their country and their sincere hope of seeing tourism return to its pre-pandemic levels. As a very proud Canadian, I could really relate to their love for their homeland and their hopes for its future. This tour was a great way to see Angkor Wat and the other temples and sites in the area. Our guide,So, was very knowledgeable and took a lot of great pictures of us. It was very hot and sunny when we toured and our driver, Sambath, always had a cold bottle of water and cold hand towel to help keep us cool. Both were very flexible with the schedule and helped us to see as much as possible in the two days.

This was my husband and I’s first time visiting Siem Reap and this tour was hands down the best way to maximize our time. Everything was seamless - from pick up to lunch to the temple tours themselves - and our guide’s English was exceptional. I learned so much about Siem Reap, Cambodia, and Buddhism from listening to our guide Yoeun. Would 10/10 recommend.

Wow! What can you say beyond that. Soheap Rath provided us with a memorable and informative tour of all the major temples in the Siem Reap area. A sturdy and dependable small Orange bus took us there. You buy your own park admission tickets which are required at all sites. While we were on the start of the rainy season, it held off while we were touring and especially for sunset and sunrise. This is not to be missed.

Sok and Singha did an amazing job showing us the sites. Sok was very knowledgeable about all the sites and the history of Cambodia and the Khmer empire. These site are amazing and having a guide poke Sok made me appreciate everything even more. I honestly wouldn't want to visit this site without doing a tour like this. Singha (driver) was on time and very kind. Unlimited water, A/C bus, and cold towels after the hotter sites was soooo nice. I highley recommend this tour and the team of Sok and Singha was great!

Excellent tour of various temples near Siem Reap, The guide, Mr Sopheap Rath, was very knowledgeable and always taking care of the tour members. Driver Dara was always on hand with cold drinks and cold towels - very much appreciated on a hot and humid October day. Although a long day, the activities were well spaced and time was never an issue: never rushed, never too slow. A most enjoyable day.

We had a great time on our 2-day tour of Angkor Wat and other temples. Our guide, Mr. Sok, and the driver, Mr. Warren, were very kind and generous throughout. This is truly an incredible 2 day tour. Our guide, Bun, had a wealth of knowledge on Cambodian history. My son and I learned a lot. Our driver, See-Ha, was always on time , providing water and cool towels after every stop. Day 1 was filled with background and history and really helped an understanding of the second day. Day 2 starts with the majesty of Angkor Wat. Truly should be a wonder of the world. But you continue to see the Jungle Temple famous from Tomb Raider and finalky Banyon where you see the temple of smiling faces. Truly remarkable tour and unforgetable journey.

The tour with Pal Saruon was fantastic. He is so patience and he always offered water and refreshments for ours. His explanations were great and he took us to the best stops, where he took the best photographs. I felt like I was in the Khmer period and I will never forget this tour.

Our 2 day tour with Journey Cambodia could not have been better. We loved the variety of the temples we saw - from quiet off the beaten track ones to large and well known like Angkor Wat. We had an amazing experience on this tour! Everything was very well organized, and it was a fantastic way to discover the temples of Angkor. The atmosphere is truly magical and sometimes it feels like travelling back in time. A special mention to our guide, Sok, who was incredible! He was friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable, explaining the history and details of each temple in an interesting and engaging way. Our driver was also great, and everything ran smoothly throughout both days. The 4 AM pickup for the sunrise day is definitely difficult, but absolutely worth it. Since you also finish earlier that day, you have time to rest afterwards. I would recommend doing the sunrise day second if possible. Starting with the other temples on the first day and saving Angkor Wat and some of the most impressive temples for the second day makes the experience even better, as you keep that element of surprise until the end. I think this experience is for everyone: families, couples, groups of friends and solo travellers. Another thing we really appreciated was the crowd size. It was not nearly as crowded as we expected, and at some temples we even had parts of the complex almost entirely to ourselves. The admission fee to the Angkor Archaeological Park is separate from the tour price, so this is something to keep in mind when booking. However, the overall experience was absolutely worth it and offered great value for money. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Cambodia.

Had an amazing experience with my guide Pal Saruon and driver Dara. Both were extremely accommodating. Dara provides cold water and cooling menthol towels at the end of each temple site. Our guide Pal is a walking history book and provided us with the comprehensive experience, explaining the background, significance, and detail of every site and corner during each leg of the trip. Our family had an amazing time in Cambodia! We had 2 days full of activities including temples at sunrise, sunset (and bike ride) in the countryside, and a boat ride to the floating village. Pal Saruan was briliant since the pick up (super on time). He gaves us a lot of info, made us nice photos and everything was alright so this tour is very worthy!

Pal Saroun and Naro were amazing. Pal was so knowledgable and pointed out all the important and cool things in the temples. He also knew all the photo spots and took great pictures. Naro constantly had water and towels for us. I didn’t end up staying for sunset because it was raining and there was a crane in the view but that’s not the fault of the tour company. It is a lot of temples to see so it is a long day but super rewarding experience!

It was fascinating and wonderful trip. The tour guide Sak and driver Vichat were so kind and helpful during the trip. Tour Guide: Mr. So Driver: Mr. Dara The trip was an absolute delight! The van was air-conditioned and comfortable. The driver was always on time, and super friendly. After every temple stop, he would give us each a bottle of cold water, and a cold wet washcloth - very useful in the jungle heat! The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. He always showed us the best spots and angles to take pictures, and his personal pictures were great. My family and I had all our expectations exceeded!!
